The Holocaust remains one of the most extensively documented and morally horrifying events in modern history. It is a cornerstone of 20th century historical consciousness and a symbol of industrialized cruelty and racial ideology brought to its most extreme ends. Yet in recent years, the manner in which the Holocaust is discussed, taught, and legislated raises critical questions about how we treat history itself. (more…)

Sorry Mom, I Was Wrong About the Holocaust
The Barnes Review, 2022This is a book that probably needs no introduction; but as it is scheduled to be released in a German-language translation by publishing house Der Schelm in the fall/winter of 2024, I thought it was appropriate to write a review. (Der Schelm, by the way, has also published German versions of most of Savitri Devi’s books, complete with photographs of the persons and places she wrote about.) (more…)

For [the Polish Jews], there is only one solution to the Jewish question in the world, and that is their own country. They don’t want a host country, however good it may be. They want to be a normal nation among the others, because up to now the world has not understood that there is “neither Greek nor Jew,” but only human beings, all equal in their misfortunes, their weaknesses, and greatnesses, all capable of the same horror as of the same heroic deeds, because up to now the world has entrenched itself behind numerous groups, which are becoming more and more numerous, each one enclosing itself twice over, living in mistrust and doubt against its neighbor. In my last essay, I discussed my distaste for spergery about the Second World War. As I was writing it, there’s one argument that I thought to address but then didn’t for reasons of narrative flow. But on second thought, I believe this argument deserves its own piece, because it is relevant to events that are unfolding across the world.
The key to understanding Nazi fetishism is to know that it is a kind of fandom. You cannot understand the Nazi fetishist if you try to examine him through an ideological lens. They are like fans of Lord of the Rings or Star Wars: They have all these cool, badass characters and loads of esoteric lore to sperg out on (“You won’t believe the indignities the German people had to suffer when the French occupied the Ruhr valley!”). Who Said It: Elon Musk, Voltaire, or Kevin Alfred Strom?
To learn that Nazis don’t rule over you, all you have to do is say bad things about Nazis. Nothing bad will happen to you.
Last weekend, Twitter CEO Elon Musk found himself swirling in another maelstrom of online fart-rage after he retweeted a meme falsely attributing the following statement to French Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire: (more…)

11. In addition to being prominent Holocaust revisionists, both you and your mentor, David McCalden, were outspoken atheists. Through people like Michael Shermer, you also had some engagement with the “skeptic” (as atheists were branding themselves at the time) scene. These were the 1990s equivalent of the people we now refer to as “fedora tippers.” (more…)

David Cole (YouTube, Substack) is a man who needs no introduction to Counter-Currents readers. But just in case Ann Coulter tweets this out to her millions of normie fans (she’s one of Cole’s most enthusiastic supporters), I should probably write an introduction.
Whether you love him or hate him, you’ve got to admit that David Cole has had one hell of a life. (more…)

Imagine that you’re an organic dairy farmer in Pennsylvania, as trad as can be. One day, while you’re supposed to be milking the cows by hand, someone catches you at your side gig. Specifically, you’re working on your cloud-hosted Hyper-V cluster, adding a DNS reverse lookup zone to the Active Directory domain controller so the DHCP server can assign PTR records when it leases IP addresses. Obviously, your Amish brethren won’t cotton to that. They might shun you for apostasy, and perhaps stack one count of felony TCP/IP administration onto your sentence. Still, luckily for you at least the Amish Ordnungspolizei won’t put out a contract on you. (more…)
