I took to Charles Krafft right away. Our introduction came the week before I was due to set off for the second Counter-Currents retreat. The phone rang and I was asked if on my way down through Seattle I could pick up a stranded attendee.
While I readily agreed — anything to help out, you know — I had reservations, as patriotic conferences can attract ahem, “eccentrics,” (more…)

Charles Krafft sent this piece to me in the Spring of 2014 for Counter-Currents, but I was in the process of a trans-continental move, so it slipped through the cracks. My thanks to PB for sending me his copy.

What’s Wrong with the Arts
The Road to Alt Right Artistry
Since Hillary Clinton’s mention of the Alternative Right in one of her speeches, there have been countless discussions about what the Alt Right is and represents, with everyone and anyone, no matter how inappropriate, suddenly declaring they are part of the Alt Right. I think it is quite easy to define what the Alt Right is: it is the postmodern manifestation of what Julius Evola termed the True Right. (more…)

On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the second Counter-Currents H. P. Lovecraft Prize for Literature was awarded to Leo Yankevich, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest living poets in the English language. He is also an eloquent an unapologetic defender of the white race and European civilization. (more…)
The Counter-Currents H. P. Lovecraft Prize for Literature
On Sunday, November 8, the World Fantasy Awards announced that their prize bust would no longer bear the image of H. P. Lovecraft. Lovecraft, of course, was chosen for the honor because he is one of the giants of science fiction and fantasy literature. But he was also a racist and xenophobe, and this is The Current Year, so Lovecraft must be purged to spare the feelings of lesser men.
I suspect, however, that if Lovecraft were alive, the antipathy would be mutual. (more…)
Home Remedies for Hitler Hysteria Prescribed by the New Right Avant-Garde
Here’s a stumper: if the definition of irony is typically something like “that which goes against expectations,” then how could an Avant-Garde artist—one who is expected to test the boundaries of our expectations—ever satisfy popular, mainstream, garden-variety tastes in irony? At some point, the Avant-Garde artist will, according to his nature, go against the expected means by which the unexpected is supposed to be realized; he will offer us a new unexpectedness. (more…)

Greg Johnson interviews Charles Krafft
September 29th: My friend Anastasia (not her real name) hits town. She’s staying with some friends in Brooklyn and invites me to meet her at the Participant Gallery, on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Anastasia’s old friend Clytemnestra (not her real name) is going to perform what is described to me as a “cat dance.” I arrive on time to find the place quickly filling up with the most appalling collection of artsy-fartsy New York hipsters and self-conscious “individualists” that I have yet seen. Interview with Charles Krafft
In 2005, Seattle artist Charles Krafft won the revisionist Holocaust Historiography Project’s prize for the most absurd World War II atrocity tale.
In 2006, in an interview published on the blog The eXTra finGer, Krafft answered the question, “What else are you interested in besides visual arts?” as follows:
Travel, interbellic Romanian history, psychedelics, Holocaust revisionism, (more…)
Whenever a person of any prominence expresses interest in or agreement with tabooed ideas like White Nationalism, anti-Semitism, or Holocaust revisionism, the standard Judeo-Leftist strategy is to destroy him socially and economically — unless, of course, there are no legal barriers to outright murder.
