Even the fleas in medieval London hated black women.
That’s the only conclusion I could draw from a series of headlines this week implying that no one suffered more from the bubonic plague that ravaged London in the mid-1300s than black women.
This came as quite the wake-up call to me, seeing as how in my repulsively bigoted ignorance I was unaware there were any black women in Western Europe back then. (more…)

It’s commonly known that women outlive men, a statistical fact that no one ever seems to cite as evidence of systemic injustice. You never hear that the reason women live longer than men is because we live in a toxically misandrist matriarchy that unfairly favors chicks and disadvantages dudes.
A study released on Monday reveals that the American “death gap” — the chasm in longevity between men and women that has persisted for more than a century — is wider than at any point since 1996. Whereas women lived 4.8 years longer on average than men in 2010, the gap in 2021 stretched out to 5.8 years. (more…)

In late March when 28-year-old Audrey Hale, armed with two rifles and a handgun, blasted through the glass doors of Covenant School in Nashville and proceeded to murder six people — three nine-year-old students and three employees in their early 60s — most of the coverage hinged around the idea that Hale was a tranny.
