It’s been said that one of the problems with German military thinking in the 20th century is that Germany never grew out of its small-country thinking.
For centuries, Prussia was one smaller continental great power, and for a smaller nation to defeat larger nations in war requires war to be waged in a certain manner. (more…)

In my time in the Dissident Right sphere, I’ve had my chance to attend certain historic events but chose not to.
I didn’t go to Charlottesville because I couldn’t get the day off work. For many years, this was a regret of mine. (more…)

Ashley St. Clair is a difficult subject for me to discuss objectively. Yes, she’s gold digging Jewish e-girl who just got knocked up by Elon Musk but, in a way, I have to admit that if I am “on the map,” Ashley St. Clair played a big part in putting me there. (more…)

If you are reading Counter-Currents, chances are that you are an oldhead. For one, Counter-Currents has been around a long time during which time it has accumulated longtime followers. Also it tends to be somewhat “advanced” white nationalism. Some of the articles about esoteric fascist philosophers may not be best suited to beginners. So even if you are a new Counter-Currents regular, there is still a high probability that you’ve been around “the scene” before coming here. In other words, you are probably an oldhead. (more…)

I think the decline of guitar music, an all-conquering cultural force in the latter half of the 20th century, has been a tragedy and not just because what has come to replace it is qualitatively inferior. I think it’s bad because starting a band used to be a pro-social thing that white kids could do together. I think it was Dave Mustaine who once said that playing in a band together was as close as four guys could get without having sex. (more…)

I contend that John Hughes’ 1985 film The Breakfast Club is a pro-white classic and fascist masterpiece.
The film takes place in a high school library in suburban Chicago although upon release, a lot of people liked to think of it as taking place in Anytown, USA.
The premise is that five white teenagers show up to school for Saturday detention and each one represents a different teen social archetype or high school clique that would have been familiar to viewers at the time. (more…)

Onesime Jalbert of Quebec and his wife Celestine had 17 children. In their defense, the television had not been invented yet. Of the 17 Jalbert children, 16 of them lived and died leaving nary a mark on the world. Ah, but the 17th child, now he had a destiny! For while his beginnings were humble, he was blessed by the Almighty with a gift that would change the world.
Domina Jalbert was born in a Quebecois slum in 1904. As a youth, Jalbert became fascinated with aerodynamics. He got his pilots license in 1927 and began a career designing lighter-than-aircraft. (more…)

I try to avoid the subject of the upcoming election because honestly, I see validity in both the pro- and anti- Trump arguments. I’m not sure there would be much difference between Trump and Kamala in how they govern. Yes, Kamala is promising to grant amnesty to millions of people. That doesn’t mean she will actually do it. In this article, I will be listing my ultimate fantasy rock and roll band.
However, this will be different than your usual fantasy rock band list where people create a theoretical supergroup composed of who they think are the best and/or their favorite musicians on each instrument: “I’d have Eddie Van Halen on guitar, John Bonham on drums, Geddy Lee on bass….” For my fantasy rock band, musical talent will not be a criterion I will be using. Someone tried to assassinate Donald Trump as he gave a speech in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania last Saturday. The shooter missed by centimeters, only grazing Trump’s ear. Three other people were shot, however, one fatally. The iconic image of Trump raising his fist in defiance is the stuff memes are made of. It was an emotional event.
In the days since, some Right-wingers have been trying to “cancel” those liberals who have made light of the event, or more commonly lamenting that the assassin did not succeed. The first such major example involved the Gen-X musical comedy duo Tenacious D. (more…)
