On May 22, 2017, an American pop-star named Ariana Grande played a concert at the Manchester Arena in the north of England. The target market for Ms. Grande’s music is young girls, thousands of whom were in attendance. They became targets of a different kind. Salman Abedi was a young Muslim man, and one would not ordinarily expect him to be attending such an example of Western decadence. But he went anyway. He wore a large black back-pack, which his father had helped him to pack. He must have looked out of place, and even suspicious. (more…)

Lost In Trans-Mission:
How the Media Fails To Reveal the Inconvenient Truth About the Usual SuspectsDarren “Eleanor” Rigby, who keeps not only his face, but also his breasts and his labia in a jar by the door, was in the news in Britain this June after threatening to shoot up several all-girls’ schools in The Beatles’ old stamping grounds of Liverpool and the surrounding district of Merseyside. Well, I say Rigby’s escapades were in the news; in fact, all mainstream reporting of the matter was ever so slightly circumscribed and incomplete. Because Darren is a deranged transsexual. (more…)

Confessional literature is nothing new. Saint Augustine wrote one of the groundbreaking works in the genre, describing the long process of his conversion from Manicheism to Catholicism. When he’s not denouncing the odd doctrines of his former belief system, he’s bemoaning his sinful past. He really beats himself up over stealing some pears as a teenager, for waiting until the end of the semester to quit his professorship to become a monk, and even for being fascinated by a spider without acknowledging the work of the Creator. Hey, at least Saint Augustine wasn’t responsible for The Force Awakens. . . (more…)

Attention all tax-payers! Are you aware you are being forced to fund your own replacement with millions of random financial deadweights from abroad? Of course you are, you read Counter-Currents. But what about readers of other, more mainstream, old-news outlets, like the dead-tree press? How well informed are they about such indisputable facts? (more…)

So far, the Aeon of Horus has turned out to be one fine mess after another. There have been some promising moments surely, but for the most part it’s turned out to be a century-long train ride to hell. Still, there is a glimmer on the horizon which, with some luck and right action, could make for a turning point to recovery. (more…)

Meaningful dialogue across an ideological divide can be quite difficult. It’s enough of a challenge with mainstream conservatives, who just need a helpful nudge out of the kiddie pool, but often are hung up on ineffectual positions such as civic nationalism, neocon military adventures, misplaced egalitarianism, and libertarian economism. (more…)

The killing of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy that deserves the strongest condemnation. Whatever one thinks of his politics, Charlie Kirk was not the figure his enemies in the press claim he was. He was not an extremist and he was certainly not some unhinged provocateur. In truth, Kirk was often criticized by dissident voices for being too flat and too cautious. (more…)

Would you like to do more for the cause but don’t know where to begin? Maybe participating in demonstrations seems too risky. Granted, there are reasons for caution. Perhaps you’re not a joiner in the first place. You may be among the millions who’ve been intimidated into silence with the threat of cancellation. For example, let’s say you’re supporting a large family – congratulations! – but you don’t dare speak out since your only income stream is a job in the bowels of Woke Capital. (more…)

On Sunday, August 31, March for Australia anti-immigration protests took place in approximately 20 cities across Australia, including all state and territory capitals and several regional cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, etc. Notable attendees included One Nation party leader Pauline Hanson, Senator Malcolm Roberts, and federal MP Bob Katter. But the most coverage I have seen was for Thomas Sewell and his National Socialist Network (NSN) in Melbourne. (more…)

It was apparent that the tide was turning for the Democrats when Donald Trump was being compared to Adolf Hitler. As election day loomed, the Democrats were in panic mode and the mainstream media (MSM) was desperate. Although voter fraud did occur, cheating on the scale of 2020 was off the table. (more…)

The Resistance Manifesto, 2019Fellow travelers on the Right should be cherished. They may have inexplicable beliefs or regrettable habits, but that’s okay. If they’re willing to tolerate you, then that tolerance should be reciprocated and appreciated. (more…)

It’s high praise indeed when a documentary calls the least possible attention to itself and still conveys the maximum emotional impact to its viewers. Of course, it helps when the subject matter is both riveting and timely. We have both and then some in Liz Collin and J. C. Chaix’s documentary The Fall of Minneapolis (also reviewed for Counter-Currents by Morris van de Camp). (more…)

The media has gotten rather predictable. Today’s journalists seem like youthful guitarists who learn two chords and are thereby qualified to join a bar band. Once you’ve seen enough stories, the tropes start to look awfully familiar. For example, in news items about mass violence or heinous deeds attributed to “youths,” “teenagers,” or some other conspicuously nondescript reporting, what really happened? (more…)
