Terror in Terre Haute:
How to Humiliate Organized Leftists
Matt Parrott

Tim Wise ended up inviting us into the venue. We took our seats in the far back corner of the auditorium, relieved to be sitting for the first time after our ordeal. The air conditioning brought the pepper spray stinging my scraped knuckles down to a mild irritation. The diverse crowd eagerly clapped for the anti-White celebrity as he shuffled up to the podium. We booed, of course, but were drowned out by the vast sea of gullible college kids cheering on White Genocide.
He immediately referenced the brawl, describing it as “some controversy”, and opining wistfully about how he regretted that he was too old and crusty to have joined the radicals who jumped us. He didn’t merely ignore his rough men. He didn’t merely distance himself from them. He didn’t offer a boilerplate denunciation of violence. Tim Wise embraced and praised his radicals. This is in stark contrast to how men of the Right work, with their eagerness to throw their men to the right of them off the sleigh to keep the wolves of mockery at bay.
Up until the event, it had been a bit of a rough week for us. Matthew Heimbach was publicly denounced by the League of the South. A few months earlier, it bestowed on him their most prestigious Nathaniel Bedford Forrest Award. When the Southern Poverty Law Center found a picture of Heimbach hanging out with some klansmen in Kentucky, Michael Cushman, Michael Hill, and other League dignitaries tripped over themselves to appease their overlords, taking turns insulting and attacking the man who had been consistently loyal and courageous.
I’m waiting for the League’s reaction when the SPLC exposes Nathaniel Bedford Forrest’s “links” to the Klan!
You never leave a fallen comrade. You choosesolidarity with allies over fear of the enemy’s stigma. Tim Wise gets that. Barack Obama gets that. Numerous leaders in our own movement don’t get that, …because they’re dishonorable. They couch their cowardice in lofty tactical and strategic terms, but what deserter doesn’t concoct a plausible excuse? White heritage and identity are in retreat, and our “leaders” are disproportionately the men out in front…the men “leading” the retreat. I’m opposed to Tim Wise and my goals are very similar to the stated goals of the League; but it’s abundantly clear that Tim Wise’s approach when the chips are down is more honorable than the craven and cowardly approach of the League of the South.
I was standing on the busy street corner of the Indiana State campus with one of Thomas Buhls’ awesome signs–signs even Tim Wise grudgingly praised later on in the evening–when three sketchy characters in skinny jeans, hoodies, and other hipster stylings strolled up and claimed to be joining us. One of them asked Thomas for a light, then sucker punched him in the mouth when he reached into his pocket.
Game on!
I dove into the fight. Predictably, their first target was the defenseless old man who had joined us. In hindsight, I suppose I should have landed a solid punch on the antifa while I was in a position to do so, …but I had no idea what I was doing. I jumped on the guy in the blue shirt, pulling him off the old man and flying to the ground. I was holding him down with me with my right arm while my dominant arm kept trying to punch him in the face. He kept punching the top and back of my head and jabbing it with his elbow but I barely felt it. I just wanted to get a decisive punch to his face but kept striking the side of his head.
My guy suddenly disappeared, Thomas had knocked him clean off of me. I’ll never forget that big bloody smile on his face and the wild look in his eyes as he was standing there over me.
I scrambled up. Our allies from the Knight’s Party had chased off the two other guys, but Heimbach and Thomas were still engaging the poor HARM goon in the middle of the busy street. With impressive Christian restraint, they pinned him to the ground while he was shrieking and spitting and still trying to punch them. We didn’t come there to fight, and we stopped fighting the moment he stopped fighting.
Unlike the antifa, we do everything we can to avoid violence. We never threaten or provoke it. Their entire movement orbits around the threat of violence, united in the belief that the final authority in this material realm of theirs is physical force. How awkward for them that these thugs got their asses beat at their own game of beating asses, on their own anti-White campus! Their leaders keep lulling these stupid kids into disastrous boondoggles, burning through their apparently inexhaustible supply of psuedo-intellectual faggots who fall for their vintage Marxist tripe and glossy hipster “scene”.
At some point, perhaps the kids they throw into the meat grinder will wise up to Tim Wise, but I’m not holding my breath.
The Global Left is learning the hard way in its overseas campaigns against jihadis that all their dollars and goons are powerless against a handful of men and women united by a transcendent vision. Right here at home, they’re beginning to learn the hard way that our Christian crusader mentality is just as immune to their social and material threats and temptations. We don’t answer to their money and we don’t bend to their force. They’ve thrown their ADL, their SPLC, their most vicious thugs, and their most eloquent bullshitters at TradYouth and we’re standing our ground.
They’ve surely got more persecution and harassment planned for us, but it’s already too late. The Knights Party members, Thomas, Heimbach, and our anonymous donors have already inspired thousands more with their example of selfless courage and sacrifice in defense of tribe, tradition, and trinity. Neither photo bombs nor actual bombs will stop us. I’m proud to be “linked” to the men who fought alongside us yesterday.
Other groups can carry on with their supposedly clever strategies of trying to reach “normal” people by pretending to be normal. The contemporary American norm favors appearance over substance, respect over honor, and compromise over principles. May those groups which have chosen to stand in solidarity with the men attacking us achieve all the “respectability” and “reputation” the Left has to offer them. Godspeed and good riddance.
As Thomas and I enjoyed cigarettes we had knocked out of our opponents’ tight little pockets that evening, I reflected on how Tim Wise had teased us about our meager numbers. “Five guys!”, he chortled repeatedly. We handily won the rhetorical fight against his army of counter-protesters, we ripped apart his arguments in the Q&A, and we had Tim Wise’s own thugs whimpering for mercy (mercy we extended, mind you) in a puddle of their own snot and tears. If we can achieve that with our modest vanguard, imagine how quickly we’ll have them on the run when the rest of the Right musters up some courage and solidarity.

Yes Anti-Fas are almost invariably moderate ectomorphs – the lean Cassius or Iago type given to fanaticism. No match for brawny Fascists in even a moderately fair fight. But remember, combat isn’t about being fair. Fair is a concept from sport or chivalry. Fine if the other side also abides by it. But obvious these don’t and will never. Do we want to be beautiful losers of do we want to win? When the South fought as Gentlemen they lost, but when they fought as desperate masked men, they won. Of course it’s not time for this but it’s a good distinction to bear in mind. They already show the savagery which will only worsen as the times do.
Btw, Bravo! And yes, No Enemies to the Right must become words to live by. They may not all be comrades, but we sure don’t have to trash them to appease the Enemy in bizarre displays of submission. We have to get the Enemy out of our heads first though. More intellectual clarity will help.
Matt, I think it may be that your Counter-Currents essay on not leaving a fallen comrade behind turns out to be a pivotal work. You really hit on something with that piece.
The public denunciation of Heimbach by the League of the South was shameful and pathetic, and offers a perfect illustration of the problem that you identified and clarified. Your framing of the issue has helped us to better understand the nature of what the LOS has done and the pathetic dynamic which drives it. The result is certainly not flattering to the League.
This is not to say that I think associating with the NSM is a great idea and, as it happens, I don’t. Though giving credit where it is due, people like myself weren’t there for Craig Cobb in Leith. The NSM was.
Regardless, while I don’t think the NSM offers the path to victory, I’m certainly not going to fall all over myself denouncing them. As you’ve pointed out, we can learn something from the Left on that score. They don’t panic or unduly fret over some of their more questionable elements. They shrug it off and move forward without it fazing them a bit.
Whether or not I think he has been mistaken in a particular case, Heimbach has demonstrated that he is a man of honor and courage, as well as a man who operates in good faith and with a heart full of love for his people. To publicly discard such a man in order to curry favor with system hacks and know-nothings is atrocious and despicable, not to mention utterly ineffective.
At the very least, the League owed a good deal of respect to Heimbach in how it handled the situation. He’s earned that much and more. Was a public denunciation really necessary to prevent him from attending their demonstration? Seems unlikely, but here we are yet again with the denounce and distance two-step.
In any event, hat’s off to yourself, Heimbach and Buhls. Your group is setting an incredible standard, and you have much to be proud of.
Well said. As I say in my “Hegemony” article (https://counter-currents.com/2011/08/hegemony/), we don’t all need to be on the same page and belong to the same organizations to win. But when we do divide our camp and part ways, we should at all costs avoid public splits the merely empower our enemies and make our people look like clowns.
Received your envelope today. Thanks so much.
What would it take to get you to write a weekly column for CC? There is never enough good sense and good writing!
Yes, I think it would it be excellent if Trainspotter were to write regularly for Counter-Currents. His comments are consistently intelligent, incisive, and on target, and he’s one of the commentators I pay particular attention to whenever they post comments.
That’s a good battle report. You 5 are men. Where do I send along a couple of bucks?
I’m almost jealous of you for the opportunity to confront these people physically. Were I not on the other side of the ocean, I’d be out there with you. God bless you all.
Good job,Matt & Co. Thank you for standing up for those of us who couldn’t be there with you. We are there with you in spirit and try to replicate your successes, wherever we are. We will fight them at the college, we will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in our schools, we will fight them in our elections, we will fight them where we find them!
I hadn’t heard much about this fight at the marxist loser convention, but from what I had heard, I knew Matt and his crew of 5 guys had cowed the red diaper babies and sent them to go suck their thumbs in the corner. Take note, everyone. If you want to stand up to them, they can’t stop you. They aren’t big enough to stop you. We can end the persecution of our people today, but you MUST stand up and fight!
I applaud you for this demonstration of dignity and courage. I don’t mean to take away attention from it, however, since we are on the subject of never leaving a comrade in the dust, how come Counter-Currents has yet to do a piece on the recent persecution of Golden Dawn in Greece?
I’m watching the Golden Dawn developments with interest and sympathy, but I don’t have anything original to say about it yet. I do think that Golden Dawn is an excellent illustration of my thesis about the importance of metapolitics to politics.
“…We handily won the rhetorical fight against his [Tim Wise’s] army of counter-protesters, we ripped apart his arguments in the Q&A…”
All well and good, but a little more, please, than eight words on the debate that you describe as “…we ripped apart his arguments in the Q&A..” How was that done? What questions? What answers? That will matter long after a fist-fight is forgotten.
Well done, Matt! Sent donation to TYN. Hope you & other TY members will be at the NPI conference – I will buy you all an adult beverage of your choice. — Gerald
Well, well. Terre Haute’s my old home town. There were plenty of leftist creeps back there in the Sixties, too. I riff on that, and reprint this post, here:
http://ex-army.blogspot.com/2013/10/terre-haute-great-place-for-riot.html
I punched an #Occupier on a sidewalk in downtown DC. He told the young lady I was with to suck his d!#$! Then told me to go back to Alabama. I’m not from Alabama. But I boxed for a few years. It was the quickest fight he had ever been in.
It was an incredible feeling. I’m glad to know you felt the same way.
Matt, I second Bo Spears’ request. Let’s hear more about the Q&A. Is there any video, from Wise, his supportive audience, or you guys? IMO, Wise is an effective advocate for the other side, primarily because of his “you don’t dare disagree with my premise(s)” tactic, his aggressive verbal style, and his cleverly deceptive use of statistics. It would be good for us if his speeches were “bird-dogged” by WNs who know how to puncture his premises, counter-punch his rhetoric, and correct his stats with context, and better stats. Eventually, such strategy on our part might severely reduce his effectiveness or destroy his credibility altogether. — Gerald
I do hope that your presence and questions at the Tim Wise lecture caused some doubt and skepticism in the some thinking people in the audience and they will begin to question the prevailing narrative. Let’s be positive. A nagging doubt is a good thing.
Tim Wise has already destroyed much of his credibility through outrageous twitter posts. He’s also caused a lot of consternation from fellow anti-racists, particularly “colored” ones, for his lucrative career and relative dominance in the anti-hate market. A black anti-racist activist accused him of using his own “white privilege,” by budding out colored voices and making too much money in what they consider their rightful territory. (That was a while ago, I can’t remember the details of that story.)
Tim Wise used to be a fairly imposing enemy of the Aryan race, in both his predatory rhetorical style and rapid use of obfuscations and out-of-context statistics. However, I think a lot of his baggage is starting to catch up with him, and he’s starting to reach a point in which he may be more of a boon to our cause than an effective enemy.
He’s really got everything for us that makes for a great caricature anti-white: he’s fat, has that “smug” face, is openly Jewish and overall comes off as a twit.
As to you, Matt, I should have been there for you. I could have been there since I live in Kentucky, but didn’t know about this event till this counter currents post. Slowly but surely this movement is getting out of the keyboard, and what is being written on the keyboard is getting better and better everyday.
You may be right that Tim Wise has outlived his usefulness as an “anti-racist,” but such creatures are disposable because they are replaceable. “Anti-racism” is a large and profitable industry, and “anti-racists” are effectively manufactured by the system. All the more reason to be industrious ourselves and to make “anti-racism” unprofitable for those involved.
Great job Matt Parrott. Without a doubt, Mr. Parrott has proven that he will openly march on the street for our cause, but does so in a respectful, dignified, and intelligent manner. And if things get rough, he’ll get rough. He will be rewarded for his work in the future. Mr. Parrott is the guy you want leading your street politics and political theater unit.
As far as the Klan and NSM; they don’t help us. The best thing the NSM could do is to re-flag from the “National Socialist Movement” to the “National Spreaders of the Mantra.” Take off the 1930’s regalia and put on White Rabbit t-shirts. Stop “Sieg Hailing” and just get out the BUGS message.
Agreed. When NSM “neo-nazi” types inevitably try compromising our efforts, I like Bob’s response, which would work for us as well, a sign saying “Are only Nazi’s against White Genocide?”
Also, I would be very interested in watching/reading Matt and the other pro-Whites verbal engagement with Wise and his anti-Whites. I was surprised I didn’t read more about that.
As far as the Klan and NSM; they don’t help us
I don’t think it helps to criticize the NSM because it can’t be done without accepting the enemy’s frame. The NSM is quite solid on substance. In particular, NSM gets the importance of promoting economic leftism focused on the needs of the working and middle class. And no, promoting Whitaker’s ideas which I am coming to believe are overrated in these circles and in many ways shallow will never be a good replacement for that. Instead of having multiple points dealing with peoples’ economic concerns, imagine if the NS party platform reduced itself to “cosmopolitanism is code for anti-German.”
Just want to echo some of what’s being said about Tim Wise.
The guy makes his living by having an aura of inevitable legitimacy, as if he’s the leading white anti-racist by dint of sheer knowledge, rhetorical skill, and a clean public record, but he’s vulnerable in two ways: He’s vulnerable on his left to attacks made by non-white anti-racists who hate white people, and he’s vulnerable on his right to attacks made online on his public reputation which could prevent him from getting work, or at least as much work.
The great thing about his being a “white anti-racist” is it naturally puts him in a tricky, always tenuous position with the hyper politically correct elements of the anti-racist left. As anyone who has ever had the misfortune to be around politically correct non-whites (like say in college), there are negroes, beaners, and feminists who are just itching to jump down a white man’s throat for the slightest perceived offense. For many of those loonies, white men just aren’t invited to their party – especially not in a leading role. So in this sense, we can kick back and watch Wise get tangled up in episode after episode of energy-sapping confrontations with anti-racist non-white freaks who, frankly, as we all know, hate white people. It’s quite entertaining to watch.
But there is stuff that pro-whites can do. His aura of legitimacy can be chipped away at over time. His weak point is his obnoxious, unpleasant, and hateful personality. He thinks he’s being hip when he uses hip hop militant slang – but it always comes off as faggoty and weird. He is weird. There’s this strange disconnect between his “on the clock” public speaking persona and his “after hours” hateful tweets and blog rants where he seems like he’s on methamphetamine and about to hurt someone.
A concerted effort by the pro-white online-o-sphere to stay on Wise’s case and document every episode of his strangeness could eventually bear fruit when, at some point, his mental issues become clear enough to the various NGOs and government agencies he suckles on. He’s a tougher target for google bombing, but he’s not invulnerable. Every search for “Tim Wise” could have results like “anti-white racist” or just “racist” or “mentally ill” or “strange.” I really think he could be singled out for special treatment and eventually made too controversial to hire. It would be an extraordinary scalp.
At any rate, hat’s off to Parrott and crew for getting out of the virtual and taking a stand in the real.
A very thoughtful & enlightening analysis of Mr. Wise and his discontents (and cracks in the façade). Thank you for putting this out there for the rest of us to chew on. — Gerald
For those wondering about our confrontation with Wise in the lecture hall, here’s a quick run-down:
We had a police escort into the building, were escorted through campus security, and took our place in the back of the room.
Someone told Wise we were there so he immediately opened his spiel with snarky comments aimed in our direction. “Matthew,” he said, “you came here, even though you said you weren’t coming in … how great” … (or some such). Of course, Heimbach yells back, at one point, correcting Wise on the proper name of Trad Youth. “It’s the Traditionalist Youth Network, not the Traditionalist Youth Association”.
Building on this exchange, Wise launched into a diatribe on how there are two very different “traditions” in the West; one was adhered to by us evil white supremacists, but the other was the honorable tradition of egalitarianism and passion for the “Noble Savage”, as well as defiance of hierarchical social orders.
The rest of his speech mirrored all his others. If you know anything about Wise, you know that he gives the same speech wherever he goes, with the exact same illustrations and the exact same talking points.
The difference this time, however, was his tone. He’s usually cocky, jovial, and entirely confident in his presentation. This time, he was edgy, nervous, and careful. He knew he would have to give a public accounting of himself.
To his credit, when he opened the floor to questions, he asked the moderator to give the first few questions to “that crowd in the back”. But “few” turned out to be two; Heimbach had the first, and I had the honor of the second.
How to derail an entire lecture in two questions?
We knew the truth, and the truth was, we were the “elephant in the room” at this event. All were aware that mythical “white supremacists” had materialized in the back of their lecture hall. Nerves were on end, and throughout Wise’s speech, I saw repeated and cautious glances from around the room. Best to capitalize on their inner-dialogues then.
Heimbach caught everyone off guard when, instead of foaming at the mouth, a hick accent, and use of over-the-top rhetoric on the mic, he opened by politely thanking Wise for attending the event, and expressed sentiments of respect for Wise’s prowess as a polemicist.
The room was dead quiet; the audience hung on Heimbach’s every word. (Here was a real-live racist…like you only read about in story books!)
“Couldn’t we choose to opt-out of multiculturalism, Mr. Wise? Would you accept a white ethnostate?”
After gallons upon gallons of bloviating in reply, (presumably meant to drown the following admission in all dem wurdz), he grudgingly admitted that, yes, in principle, he couldn’t object to such a state – however, he quickly added, such a thing is too impractical to happen in real life. (If only Wise would apply this same standard to his multicultural utopia, he’d give up his work).
Nevertheless, you could see in his tone and demeanor that he hated having to make such an admission.
I followed up in the same way, thanking Wise for being there and thanking him again for graciously interacting with us. During his meandering and wordy response to Heimbach, (and as is common in his many lectures, and even present in his debate with Jared Taylor), he suggested “pan-white” unity, and pan-racial unity in general, are artificial social constructs; these group-norms can be arbitrarily formed around any thing, from color of eyes, to sport team fandom. So, I asked, wouldn’t it be the case that if he were successful in lobbying Americans to give up associating according to these pan-racial identity groups, that there would no longer be any uniquely black music, or black poetry, or dignity among American blacks as a people?
Again, after much bloviating, he had to admit that, yes, there would no longer be any self-conscious black “block” – but, he hastily added, they wouldn’t care at that point. They only need to organize as a pan-racial block to stave off the evil and oppression being done to them at the hands of white men (like myself).
Nevertheless, many black folk in the crowd, who had no problem being proud of their “blackness”, (and told us so during our protest outside the event), were no longer clapping along with Wise.
Wise knew he’d been stung by our questions; he has faith in the American education system though and likely hopes the students didn’t have the critical thinking skills to realize it.
Dem honkies in the back did, though.
Thank you Scott. Excellent, informative, detailed report – just what I was hoping for. Kudos to you, Matthew, Matt, and your other comrades on an outstanding action. (May there be many more, from your team and others of our movement.) — Gerald
“Their leaders keep lulling these stupid kids into disastrous boondoggles, burning through their apparently inexhaustible supply of psuedo-intellectual faggots who fall for their vintage Marxist tripe and glossy hipster “scene”.”
One of the best sentences I have read. Kudos.
