Despite his profound status as the most significant black leader of the twentieth century, embarrassingly little is known about Garvey outside of academia. But as anthropologist Joel Augustus Rogers notes in his homage to this iconoclastic figure, Garvey inspired a spirit of hope in people of African descent that the most virulent form of racism could never quench: (more…)

The best thing to happen to the Kennedy political dynasty and its legacy took place over the course of 11.2 seconds at 12:30 PM on November 23, 1963. That is when an Antifa activist, acting totally on his own, fired three bullets from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository into the motorcade of the 35th President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Two of the bullets hit Kennedy, and he was declared dead at Parkland Hospital at 1 PM. (more…)

I’m not really a conspiracy guy, although I’m not anti-conspiracy theory as a matter of principle. Conspiracies do happen, and the theories can be fun. I’ll watch some conspiracy theory videos as entertainment, and there are a few I believe probably have some merit to them. But in general, conspiracy theories are just not something I feel like devoting a significant amount of mental energy towards. With so many of them, it’s like debating the existence of God: you are never going to know with 100% certainty. We will never know the full story about what happened to JFK. We will never know the full story on 9/11. (more…)

The Olympics are finally over and Team USA managed to edge out China for gold medals, but fewer Americans were ecstatic for the athletic triumph. In fact, a sizable number of conservatives rooted against America in some of the competitions, particularly women’s soccer. (more…)

In a recent article at The Epoch Times, “Erasing, Misrepresenting Canada’s History Erodes Foundations of Society,” a group of well-meaning and harmless conservative historians are cited at length expressing concerns about the tearing down of statues, renaming of buildings and streets, and overemphasis on Canada’s “racist past” without an acknowledgement that this nation has been “constantly improving” away from its “racist past.” (more…)

Almost lost in this summer’s news cycle is an extremely instructive story. On June 24, the Polish Parliament’s lower house passed a draft bill which would set a thirty-year deadline on when people can recover property seized by the Nazis during the Second World War or by the Communists afterward. A troubling little news nugget sailed across my desk today: For the first time in American history, whites are declining not only as a percentage of the population, but in terms of raw numbers.
The news seems even more dire to me when I consider that the tiny sliver of politically-active men who voice a concern about white demographics seem to hate white women more than even black women hate white women — and black women really hate white women. (more…)

If you have spent any amount of time around dissident politics, you have probably heard several references to “autism,” with various people and things frequently described as autistic. This can either be positive or negative.
Positive references to autism often have to do with pattern recognition, mastery of a subject, or wholesome anime. For example, the anonymous users of 4Chan frequently do intelligence work that surpasses what the woke alphabet agencies can do, and this is lauded as autism. (more…)

Vanikin in the Underworld
Brentano Books, 2021Having just finished reading Mark Gullick’s novel, Vanikin in the Underworld, I feel compelled to recommend it to serious readers of both fiction and non-fiction – strongly compelled. Fiction lovers will be drawn to the droll self-mockery of the narrator and delight in the masterful outpouring of sardonic, coruscating wit that assaults contemporary fashions, fads, and politically-correct fetishes. Many people have characterized 2021 as the year when they realized exactly how bovine the public is. While speaking disdainfully of “normies” was always present on the Dissident Right, even before the internet, when the old hats called them “sheeple,” 2021 — with its twentieth month of lockdowns, masks, and now vaccine hysteria, (more…)
