For years, I have argued that our mostly online and anonymous movement is more likely to develop into a large and formidable real world community if we follow two basic rules. First, everyone gets to choose his own level of explicitness and involvement. Second, everybody else has to respect those decisions, including people’s decisions to keep their identities secret.
Doxing refers to publishing private information about an individual — his real name, his home address, his school, his employer, etc. — in order to cause him harm. Doxing is a favored tool used by the Left to expose White Nationalists to persecution from the system and criminal antifa elements.
In recent months, however, doxing has been used by movement people to settle scores with movement rivals. To give two recent examples: Iron March members were trying to dox American Vanguard members, and Twitter’s Baked Alaska recently doxed Twitter’s Bunker Smith (who is a Trumpian civic nationalist, not a White Nationalist). Simply sharing people’s pen names among fellow movement people can cause huge problems. But doxing is far worse, because it makes such private information available to the public at large.
This has to stop. The White Nationalist movement has grown tremendously in the internet age because the web allows our people to conceal our identities from those who would persecute us for our beliefs. But our movement cannot continue growing online, much less transition to real world meetups, without a commitment to protecting people’s identities from doxing. The recent doxings indicate that we need to make this principle more explicit and back it up with punishments for those who violate it.
Doxing fellow movement people strikes at the anonymity and trust that are the foundations of our movement. Therefore, I want to propose the following rules for dealing with doxers.
- Any movement person who doxes another movement person must suffer the social equivalent of a death sentence: they must be completely shunned. They must be expelled from all movement organizations, barred from all movement gatherings, and blocked on all social media.
- Their friends must be forced to choose sides. It is no deterrent if doxers are shunned by strangers. They must be disavowed and shunned by their friends. And if their friends stick with them, they must be shunned in the same way.
- These principles do not apply to the retaliatory doxing of doxers, whether they come from the system or the movement. On the one hand, retaliatory doxing is both just punishment and an excellent deterrent. On the other hand, it could initiate an escalating cycle of retaliation that could be harmful to the movement overall. So, although I cannot condone retaliatory doxing, I understand it, and I cannot treat it as an offense on the same level as initiating doxing.
- One of the virtues of instituting a policy of shunning doxers is to give victims both justice and solidarity and prevent such cycles of retribution.
But what if you personally like a doxer? What if he is presently an ally in the ever-shifting net wars? Simple: you should choose better friends and allies. Sure, so-and-so might only dox the people he is mad at. But what makes you think he will never fall out with you? What makes you think he will never attack your friends, your wife, or your employment?
No cause is more serious or sacred than White Nationalism. So we need to act like it. We think of ourselves as the legitimate leadership of our race. So we need to act like it. We should start thinking of ourselves as a government in exile. So we need to act like it. Today, that means establishing some basic rules and enforcing them with real consequences to the extent possible in our movement.

Agree with all of the above Greg. I would add that we must never underestimate the power of presenting a unified front against our enemy. Presenting a strong, unified & *diverse image (even if we argue in private) is psychologically vital to encourage the demoralisation of our detractors.
*By ‘diverse’ I would refer to the eclectic mix of Trumpists, alt-right, alt-lite, and any right-leaning individual.
In-fighting, including doxing, does the reverse and breathes wind in to their sails. Just think how in the past WE have been demoralised by a seemingly coherent unified leftist system. The news networks, Hollywood & politicians all appear to act in concert to further a common agenda, the multicult worship.
In reality they have their differences but appear to come together on their most important issue – demonstrating to the world that they’re not racist.
Likewise I urge all WN and anti-mass-migration believers to unite on THAT issue. Return the gesture to the leftists. We can tip the scales.

As White/Aryans we have to lead by example and have the courage of our convictions. Hiding behind a nom de plume creates a poisonous atmosphere of mistrust. Adolf Hitler had the right idea when he dressed his men in uniform specifically so they would be recognised as proud National Socialists. Of course not everyone can be courageous all the time but it should be a point of honour to avoid lying and subterfuge.

I understand why some people have to use ‘non de plumes’ but for me it’s always seemed cowardly and I can’t bring myself to do it. We should be encouraging each other to stand up for our convictions and to not say anything online we wouldn’t stand by in the ‘real’ world.

I agree with it as far as it goes. But it’s not all encompassing enough. There should be a policy of no punching to the White. You posted an article a few days ago about the father from Arkansas whose daughter deliberately dated a black man to provoke her father and then to virtue signal when he reacted negatively. Humiliating him as a way to get in tight with the politically correct establishment. The author said he could not stand with the father in public. All because the father said mean words. Of course they were provoked by a despicable daughter with no familial loyalty much less racial loyalty. I posted my reply at the time. It all reminds me of the Hail Trump incident with Richard Spencer. This running away from our brothers and sisters because of the “optics” has got to stop.

Doxxing per se is a vindictive act that is used to strike out at an enemy. In fact it is an effective form of legally permitted economic warfare, particularly against those on the Right.
For those in the Civic Nationalist/White Nationalist/Traditional movement to use this technique against those in their own political sphere is more than petty or vindictive tantrums. Such an execise in mean pointlessness betrays a certain lack of essential purpose and teleos.

I think it is unavoidable. Doxing is an act of war/aggression against an enemy, meant to cause harm in one way or another, but an intra-movement oath seems reasonable; unless there is merit beyond a reasonable doubt.

Agreed. It seems complete common sense to anyone with a grasp of the big picture. Politics is the great game and we need to continually remind ourselves ourselves of what is at stake if we lose.
The end of, what was less than a century ago reflexively called white civilization, is a fait accompli to the most pessimistic observer. What we are now facing is demographic replacement with a simmering anti-white rhetoric gaining ground as a legitimate, and one might go as far to say, moral discourse. Let that sink in.
Greg Johnson is right, we need those who stand up to address the masses, as well as those who can carry the conversations into homes, offices, and the social space. History will reward the former for their courage and sacrifice. But the latter will be instrumental in the slow and subtle normalization and diffusion of our ideas.
The tone is appropriate, I feel, because the clock is running down on our people’s long-term ability to rebound. The matrix of neo-conservatism, liberalism, and cultural marxism is everywhere. So, while holding to our own values, we need allies among all those who reject this rotten edifice. And good allies we must be. Having a code of conduct is a vital step in that direction.
So if you know someone is a jew, but they are a WN (i.e. Lying about what they are, YOU get shunned for outing them? So when they do damage to the movement, do you get an apology?
Leon Haller is quite right in his assertion that as White Preservationists we’re in danger of underestimating the ethical dimension to our argument. Without being prissy, it’s essential that we expunge all unworthy thinking or dishonourable behaviour from our activities. Only then will we regain the moral high ground from the liberal enemy.
If we hide behind sophistry or false names to further our cause we can be made by the main stream media to appear as criminal. Worse still, once that happens some of our weaker brethren will always be tempted to act like criminals, bringing our whole cause into disgrace.
Finer ideological differences are bound to emerge, but as long as we foster a spirit of honesty about ourselves and who we are, we can work together as comrades. “Tell the truth and shame the devil”.

Although remaining anonymous does have the advantage of allowing a person to say anything that they want without the disadvantage of being held accountable for it. As grown men why would anyone take someone seriously if they didn’t at least stand by what they say ? When it comes time for action in this movement will these same men demand anonymity as well ? Imagine President Washington or General Francis Marion only fighting against the British Empire if they could remain anonymous ? Or Generals Robert E. Lee, Thomas Jackson, James Longstreet, etc. only willing to lead the fight against the Federal government if there would be no personal blowback for their actions ? If you are too ashamed to stand by your words now than when the time for action comes how likely will you be able to be counted on then ?
