Many of you have probably seen my byline but may not know me by sight. I write a lot about relations between men and women. Sometimes men in nationalist movements fail to appreciate the relevance of this subject to our political struggle as a people. Women don’t usually have that problem. They know that they control the perpetuation of our race, and in the final analysis, that’s almost all that matters. Feminists like to say that the personal is political, and on this point at least, they are correct: our political cause depends on stable marriages and families. (more…)

Po zadání podobného latinskoamerického úsloví, „Čím víc mě biješ, tím víc tě miluju,“ ukáže vyhledávač přes sto tisíc výsledků.

Myšlenka o masochistické složce ženské sexuality rozhodně není nijak objevná. Člověk se s ní setkává v pořekadlech a lidových moudrech národů celého světa; odpovídá to tedy pozorováním četných lidí obou pohlaví napříč generacemi. (more…)

If, say, I was standing in line for coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts and a masked bandit were to sneak up behind me and inject me with heroin, I do not doubt that such a forcible and unsolicited attack would psychologically damage me. I would feel . . . violated.

I don’t know anyone who would enjoy being stuck with a needle while innocently standing in line at Dunkin’ Donuts — and if they did, they must be some kind of sick pervert!

But once having been injected with the heroin against my will, I suppose it would be possible to relax and enjoy its pain-killing and euphoric effects. (more…)

John Schlesinger’s 1967 adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s 1874 novel Far from the Madding Crowd should be a universally recognized cinema classic. But although it received generally positive reviews and did well in England, today it is virtually unknown, even among my friends who are film buffs.
