On February 10, Project Veritas’ Board of Directors forced James O’Keefe out of the organization he founded in 2010. A statement released by the Board alleged financial misappropriation and mistreatment of employees — but his donors and followers aren’t buying it.

Board minutes pasted in a video of James O’Keefe’s final staff meeting suggest financial misconduct, indicating that he was reimbursed for a $12,600 downpayment on his wedding[1] O’Keefe is unmarried), and this memo presented to the Board on February 6 alleges that he ate a pregnant woman’s sandwich. I was recently sitting in the examination room at a medical clinic with a relative who is undergoing treatment for an aggressive form of cancer. While waiting for the oncologist to enter, my attention shifted to an LCD display on the wall that was showing a promotional video, featuring the drugs used to treat various forms of cancer. With each specific one that appeared, the scrolling would pause momentarily and show a visual with the name of the drug that is used to treat it, a large photograph of a presumably typical patient, and an invitation to follow up for additional drug information. You are much less free than you used to be just a few short years ago; this an irrefutable fact. Almost daily in 2020 and 2021 we have witnessed scenes of tyranny and repression which we would never have thought possible in modern Western states. We have looked on as Australian construction workers were riddled with rubber bullets as they rallied for their right to work without vaccine passes. We have watched tens of thousands of medical workers who were previously vaunted as heroes thrown out of their jobs because they did not comply with vaccine mandates. (more…)
