They say that politics is downwind of culture. This means that something has to be commonly accepted by a critical mass of people as a “thing” (more…)
On 9/11/2016, Hillary Clinton collapsed at free-fall speed into her own footprint, after making an early exit from a 9/11 commemoration in New York City. At first the Clinton campaign said she was overcome by the heat. But I am sure that at least 88 scientists can be found to sign a statement that temperatures in the 70s, a gentle breeze, and low humidity are not sufficient to cause knees to buckle.
If you follow NPI events, there was more than a little déjà vu in the National Policy Institute’s press conference in DC on Friday, September 9th. Titled “What Is the Alt Right?,” and framed as a reply to Hillary Clinton’s disordered denunciations of Donald Trump and his nationalist supporters, it was a very sedate, familiar affair. (more…)

For the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Counter-Currents published a symposium (linked below) which, sadly, still remains relevant as the organized Jewish community and various white traitors, dupes, and tools agitate for yet another war with one of Israel’s enemies based upon lies and sanctimony. I’ve reviewed the first two here and here, and I still consider The Hungry Wolves of Van Diemen’s Land to be the number one essential novel for recommending to millennial nationalists (and potential nationalists). Counter-Currents has always been huge in Australia. In truth, we are less the flagship of the North American New Right than the Anglophone New Right. Thus, this past weekend, in the spirit of Anglophone unity, I spoke to the Dingoes — Gustav, Digger, Wap, and Aussie Tory — of Australia’s #1 Alt-Right podcast, The Convict Report. (more…)

Former Virginia Senator (2007-2013), Secretary of the Navy (1988-1989), Marine, and unapologetic Vietnam War veteran Jim Webb launched a quixotic bid for the Democratic presidential nomination last year, withdrawing in a few months. (more…)

Originally published on February 17, 2005, this review remains to my mind one of the most memorable pieces ever to appear at VNN.
