The year is unknown. You wake up from a pleasant dream and tear off a virtual reality device which was attached to goggles seemingly built into your head. You find yourself sealed in a pod, although you are soon extracted by a strange machine. It is difficult to walk, because you have never done so in your life. A robotic voice calls you “Redeemer” and tells you to step into something called a “rejuvenation chamber.” (more…)

Given their bellicose nature and what is at stake, you would think that Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and the Pentagon busybodies would heed Machiavelli’s advice that “A prince should have no other aim or thought, nor select anything else for his study, than war and its rules and discipline.” But the 2026 Iran War shows that they are complete amateurs in the art of war. Nintendo’s big Christmas 2025 videogame release is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, a sci-fi exploration adventure in which female intergalactic bounty-hunter Samus Aran fights various hideous alien beings like Space Pirates, Metroids, and Mexicans (more on such videogame-based anti-immigrant memes later on). You wouldn’t immediately know Samus is female, however, due to the bulky nature of her rather masculine body-armor and visored helmet. This fact has allowed the usual gang of activist loons to pose the question: is Samus actually trans? (more…)

This week marks the 40th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console in Japan on 13 September 1985, the first true game in the all-conquering series which would go on to become perhaps the most popular in video game history. (more…)

Videogame livestreaming platforms are strange places. If you frequent websites such as Twitch or Kick, you will know that they are equal parts autism, attention deficit disorder, and exhibitionism. They are toxic places full of profanity and performative video-game violence as automatic weapons are used to shred other players while hopping around in tactical gear on virtual battlefields. My first experience with Halo was in my pre-teen years, in 2010 or 2011, when I received an Xbox360 for Christmas. I bought Halo: Reach in a Boxing Day sale on the advice of a friend. We played through the entire game in splitscreen. It remains one of my fondest experiences of those years. I was struck by its moral outlook, which was as alien to the Leftist media that I was used to as any of the enemies in the game are to humanity. (more…)

Gamergate can be summarized as the backlash against Social Justice Warrior (SJW) themes that were being pushed in video games during 2014-2015. The reader may explore the deep lore surrounding it if he is so inclined, for those days have passed into legend.
A second Gamergate has begun, although it is more limited in scope — for now. The focus is on Sweet Baby Inc., a company that offers “diversity consulting” for video-game scripts, and which has been blamed for a rising number of woke video games. (more…)

Kvltgames, the developer which released the first identitarian video game, Heimat Defender, has just released a sequel. The company is led by the former Austrian identitarian activist Roland Moritz. Like its predecessor, The Great Rebellion follows the story of a man fighting an oppressive corporation, which is now called Lucis Lux. This global corporation has reduced Europe to a homogeneous mass of mindless drones, with every aspect of their lives kept under surveillance — even their dreams. This much power is not enough for them, however, and they plan to soon “remove the human factor from the equation entirely.” (more…)
