I’ve been asked to share my thoughts on our movement’s “life after Trump.” The topic is ambiguous, however, because it could mean “after” the beginning or the end of Trump’s current term. (more…)

The Moderate Majority: Real GOP Voters and the Myth of Mass Republican Radicalization
Boston: Walter de Gruyter, 2025Since 2016, we have been perpetually on the brink of a fascist revolution. Or so the left likes to claim, as do many on the Alt Right, albeit for entirely different reasons. There seems to be at least some kernel of truth to this. Mainstream Republicans are at least finally talking about vengeance, even if they stumble on following through. (more…)

Donald Trump could have easily covered up Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. All he needed to say is: “I have been promising for years to release the Epstein files. I’ve created a lot of expectations. Now that I’ve actually looked at the files, they are worse than I ever imagined. If I released these files, it would bring down the government. We would spend the rest of my term embroiled in the Epstein scandal. Yes, justice would be done for a few dozen criminals and a few dozen victims. But at what cost? Basically, at the cost of the MAGA agenda. Deportations, prosperity, peace: all would be sacrificed. You would all suffer. And that’s too high a price to pay. So, for the greater good, I am sealing these papers for 100 years. (more…)

Trump’s victory and policy positions continue to divide dissidents. Opinions on the matter have ranged from Trump being the second coming of Christ, to him merely perpetuating the American system or attempting to slow its decline, to even leading the white world into a blissful coma while personally holding a pillow over its face. In American elections, candidates who outspend their opponents tend to win. Some question whether correlation is the same as causation because donors may want to bet on the stronger horse to ensure access after the election. (more…)

I originally addressed Biden’s pre-emptive pardons a few months ago. Those pardons are back in the news cycle because it has been revealed that they were signed via an autopen machine, and because of that, Trump wants to void them. (more…)

What the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered thus far is a resounding indictment of the federal government and neoliberalism. But it is an even greater indictment of the establishment GOP. If they weren’t in on it, they were either too scared, stupid, clueless, or incompetent to even ask meaningful questions about how our money was being spent. (more…)

If you are reading Counter-Currents, chances are that you are an oldhead. For one, Counter-Currents has been around a long time during which time it has accumulated longtime followers. Also it tends to be somewhat “advanced” white nationalism. Some of the articles about esoteric fascist philosophers may not be best suited to beginners. So even if you are a new Counter-Currents regular, there is still a high probability that you’ve been around “the scene” before coming here. In other words, you are probably an oldhead. (more…)

On August 15, Donald Trump made the following statement about immigration and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at a press conference:
“. . . [W]e’re going to close the border and get the crooked ones out, the bad ones out. And we’re gonna let a lot of people come in. Because we need more people. Especially with AI coming and all of the different things. And the farmers need, everybody needs. But we’re going to make sure they’re not murderers, killers, drug dealers, and the kind of people we have, largely, coming in right now.”
