Counter-Currents collaborated with the Free Expression Foundation last Sunday to put on an afternoon reception and fundraiser in recognition of the accomplished Dr. Roger Pearson. The Free Expression Foundation (donate here) is a vital non-profit legal organization, founded by Glen Allen, Esq., for those who seek to protect and express their rights to freedom of speech and assembly.  Dr. Pearson has valiantly resisted the many concerted efforts to censor and suppress his opinions, so the Free Expression Foundation was pleased to join Counter-Currents in honoring him. Glen Allen is a Baltimore attorney who lost his job working for the City in August 2016 thanks to actions taken by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Because Allen once allegedly supported William Pierce’s National Alliance (NA), SPLC officials Heidi Beirich and Mark Potok allegedly pressured the city leaders to fire Allen, which they did. Last May, I wrote an essay entitled “Weaponizing Money.” In it, I argue that racially conscious whites should act with urgency when it comes to money, and earn as much of it as possible. I dispel any notion that this is selling out — as long as the money can somehow contribute to the cause and not a person’s expensive lifestyle. I also argue that it is possible to make a lot of money and still be passionate about what you do. Any white person supporting white advocacy should, at a minimum, accustom themselves to living as cheaply as is reasonably possible and being as generous as reasonably possible. (more…)
