Today is the 80th birthday of Alain de Benoist, the founder and leading thinker of the French “New Right” who redefined the Right in post-war Europe, and ultimately transcended the Left/Right divide altogether in his effort to oppose and surpass liberalism. His thought is also central to the Counter-Currents project. The immense breadth of his work spans far more than merely the political, however, encompassing significant works on anthropology, literature, philosophy, religion, and other topics as well.

Alain de Benoist is truly a giant among insects. I can’t wait to read some of the articles I may have missed. Is there any of of his work available for Audible or audio?
I wonder if he has had more of an impact that Guillaume Faye too. I personally have always loved both.
