The uniqueness of whites can be partly explained by the their homelands’ climate. Europe is the second-cloudiest continent after Antarctica. Western hunter-gatherers colonized Europe as the ice sheets retreated. They evolved blue eyes, which are useful in cloudy weather because they are more sensitive to light and protect people from developing seasonal affective disorder. They passed on these blue eyes to whites, who partially descend from them.
Light skin originated with whites’ Early European Farmer and Yamnaya ancestors. Their skin evolved to be even lighter after they expanded throughout Europe, helping them soak up more Sun and thus giving them an advantage in Vitamin D absorption on the cloudy continent. Light skin has less melanin, which helps protect against bugs and parasites, but cloudy Europe has fewer of them, so they could afford to evolve lighter skin.
Light skin is essentially a cosmetic adaptation. All human groups like white skin. For instance, black children prefer white baby dolls, and Chinese women during the Sui and Tang dynasties put white powder on their skin — and still do in traditional opera. The difference is that cloudy, relatively bug-free Europe was kinder to permitting these adaptations to evolve. It was also more densely populated than Africa continentally, which promoted more sexual selection and perhaps opened the door wider for traits like blue eyes to evolve.
The cloudy climate which shaped whites is now under threat, however. Global cloud cover is decreasing. Scientists disagree on whether made-made carbon dioxide emissions play a role (though more of them say it does), but what is certain is that many human activities, including the cutting down of trees, allowing livestock to overgraze pastureland, and expanding agricultural fields cause desertification and reduce global cloud cover. If this continues for long enough, the Earth may become a desert planet. As a result, humans globally may end up having to evolve to become like those groups which currently inhabit deserts, such as the San Bushman of the Kalahari Desert, who have among the lowest IQs among all groups.

There are other problems apart from declining cloud cover as well. Wind speed is up 7% since 2010. Prior to then, it had declined by 2.3% over several decades. Thus, it seems wind speed may vary across decades. It’s not certain whether human-caused desertification plays a role in it, but having more wind and less cloud cover results in a harsher climate.
The toll human activities have taken on plants and animals is astounding. Humanity has killed 60% of the Earth’s species since 1970. Not only that, but humans have wiped out half of the Earth’s biomass, or living matter. No other species in Earth’s history has destroyed half of the rest.

Neoconservatives such as Elon Musk claim that the world needs more people. They say this because they can’t explicitly state that the world needs more whites, because Jews would punish them. And unfortunately, it means that the developed world can turn a blind eye to the implications of non-whites multiplying rapidly.
Non-whites make up only 10% of the greatest minds in math and science, according to Ranker. They have had virtually nothing to do with creating the modern world, which has sustained them and permitted them to multiply via improvements in nutrition and medical science. They do not deserve to continue to take advantage of the white race’s innovations without agreeing to get their birthrates below replacement levels. If they stopped using white inventions for a year, many — perhaps even most — would perish. They are thus ecological deadweight, because while they can adopt technology which potentially harms the planet, they can’t innovate ways to prevent this. Whites, on the other hand, can adapt to become more less ecologically destructive.
Artificial intelligence even less creative than non-whites — at least in its present form. Unless it improves, it won’t help humanity innovate its way out of the mess it’s in. AI may be able to predict the Earth evolving into a desert planet, but it doesn’t know how to stop it, because it can only draw upon what is already known.
Most whites are ignorant of the extreme population growth that non-whites have experienced over the past two centuries. Estimates are that African-Americans have multiplied 40-fold since 1800, outbreeding whites by a factor of nine. For example, if the African-American population had remained at one million instead of multiplying to 40 million, think of how much better life in America would be. We’d have fewer rappers and basketball stars, but we’d have more money per capita, greater societal harmony, less crime, and fewer affirmative action hires. Conversely, those million blacks would have a bigger white population from which to extract resources, so they’d be happier as well.

But African-Americans’ fertility has recently sunk slightly below replacement level. Africans, on the other hand, continue to triple every 40 years. If this continues, it will result in the destruction of all life on Earth, except perhaps some microbia. Perhaps this has happened before, and this is just another cycle of life that is about to be terminated by blacks before it can re-evolve all over again. I kid, but the growth of Africans is the scariest thing in the world to any thinking person.

Here’s a fun fact: If sub-Saharan Africans continue to multiply at the same rate they do now, there will be 1.6 quadrillion blacks on Earth by 2560. To put this number in perspective, that’s one per every square foot of the Earth’s surface. Just imagine the room you’re sitting in now; perhaps it’s around 132 square feet. Would you like 132 negroes to join you there? I could see an idiot liberal claiming that we need to prepare affordable housing on Mars for them.
If negroes continue to multiply at the present rate, then they will reach a Malthusian doomsday scenario long before they reach 1.6 quadrillion. It will probably happen before 2120, when, if present trends continue, they will reach 16 billion. This is more people than the Earth can handle, according to most estimates (see figure 2). This projection illustrates the folly of prevaricating about global population growth, as Musk does. The Earth doesn’t need humans in general to stop reproducing; it needs sub-Saharan Africans to stop multiplying. It also needs people like Musk to stop cheering it on or ignoring it.
Other wealthy businessmen with almost as much to lose as Musk have warned about overpopulation in Africa. Bill Gates, for example, has referred to population growth as a “challenge” and promoted increasing access to birth control for African women.
French President Emmanuel Macron has been even more explicit in discussing the problem, talking about how it’s a problem that women have an average of seven or eight children each in nations like Niger. But of course the media claimed that Macron was wrong to blame Africans for this, and that colonialism is to blame.
Talking about race and population restrictions may be uncomfortable for many. For example, white Americans like African immigrants better than African-Americans because they are kinder on average. African immigrants also tend to be less anti-white than African-Americans. But this doesn’t make the multiplication of Africans any less destructive.

An important part of curtailing population growth in Africa is ending childhood mortality, because adults resort to religion in order to cope with the loss of a child. But in an environment where childhood mortality is low enough to permit population growth but high enough to foster religion, people multiply very fast.

Humans co-evolved with childhood mortality in their respective environments to develop an average of 1.65% population growth for every generation (30 years), or 72% population growth every millennium. But childhood mortality may have been greater among groups living in warm weather-climates, such as Amerindians and Africans. Their r-selected customs entailed more human sacrifice and less investment in children. For example, Negroes in Negroland, a compilation of Victorian explorers’ accounts of their time in Africa, recounts how some black tribes would kill and eat each other over the minutest of offenses. Moreover, the Huaorani people of the Ecuadorian rain forest were until recently the most murderous ethnic group in the world, which is to say nothing of the Aztecs. These barbaric customs evolved partly because the bountiful tropical environments enabled them. Moreover, such practices may have kept these populations in sync with their environment by preventing them from breeding too fast and exhausting the surrounding resources. But once primitive populations westernize and prohibit such inhumane and murderous customs, they explode in population more rapidly than whites would have in the same environment. For example, during the period from 1880 to 1900, whites expanded by 21% — the most they’ve ever expanded in a 20-year period since 1800. Their childhood mortality rate was 280/1,000 during this period. Meanwhile, from 1980 to 2000 Africans expanded by 72%. Their childhood mortality rate was 170/1,000 during this period. Despite somewhat lower childhood mortality, and thus lower incentives to play demographic catch-up by being religious, Africans still grew at a rate 3.5 times higher than whites. Whites evangelized r-selected Africans with Christianity, a religion from K-selected Eurasia, which boosted the African and Hispanic population in much the same way that temperate America has boosted Africanized honeybees that are more acclimated to a harsh environment. In other words, Christianity helps people survive in harsher climates better than Africa’s ancestral “fetish” religions, but when people in a more pleasant climate adopt the religion of those who live in a harsh one, it bolsters the former’s reproduction. This isn’t to say that Africans and Hispanic descendants of Amerindians should return to the anti-social ways of their ancestors, but that whites should help them curtail their fertility via humanitarian measures, such as by eliminating childhood mortality, which motivates them to over-reproduce.

If childhood mortality is neither at the ancestral norm of ~50%, nor at the developed world’s rate of near zero, but is instead at something like 25%, it causes the population to grow at its highest potential rate. Thus, if childhood mortality is reduced somewhat, but not enough, then the population will increase. But if it is reduced to near zero, population growth tends to reach a standstill or even go into reverse, which is what we are seeing now in developed nations — even among their black populations, such as African-Americans and Afro-Caribbeans. The goal is to get Africans to follow suit by giving them more birth control and further reducing their childhood mortality rate.

Another way to reduce fertility is to pay the fathers of girls much more than their sons, since women prefer men who earn around the same rate as their fathers. If they can’t pair with one, they often remain single.
Even if the incomes of older African men are boosted relative to the younger ones, it would still be important to stop polygamy, which is the highest in West Africa globally. This is because it permits older men who are financially successful to breed with all the women. Most practitioners of polygamy are Muslims; Mid-East Muslims therefore need to get African Muslims to stop polygamy, just as they have.

Jews need to stop censoring honest discussion of racial differences, including discussion of Africans contributing disproportionately to population growth. It is leading to the destruction of the Earth.
Africans, for their part, need to unite to stop overpopulation evenly among all African ethnic groups, because otherwise, if one group restricts fertility and another doesn’t, then the discrepancy will result in the latter replacing the former, or drawing it into an internecine population war. Africans also need to stop their petty family and tribal squabbles and endeavor to protect Africa for their descendants by not having so many kids that they destroy not only their own peoples, but all life on Earth.
Likewise, efforts to reduce population growth among low IQ peoples should not be limited to Africans. Inbred Pashtuns and other ethnic groups in Afghanistan rapidly multiplying pose just as much of a threat to the world’s lifeforms, for example.
While whites should work to stop overpopulation in the Third World, they must also attempt to increase their own fertility, especially among their best and brightest.
The Earth is special. When we listen to the waves from its magnetic field after being converted into sound, we hear what sounds like airplanes flying in the sky, trains chugging, crickets chirping in late summer, radio static, R2-D2 expressing worry, and sentimental songs from 1950s movies. The Earth’s sounds remind one of distinction, articulation, dynamism, emotion, warmth, and protection, whereas rocky planets such as Pluto and Venus basically sound like the clang of a metal shield, while gas planets such as Neptune sound ominous and scary. Earth sounds better because it is better, and we whites are its most dynamic inhabitants. Our fate and that of our watery, cloudy home are one, and we shouldn’t forget it.
The practical steps readers can take to help include:
- Writing to your Congressman about the need to make birth control available to sub-Saharan Africans, specifically the birth control pill, the patch, birth control implants, and condoms.
- Writing to your Congressman about the need to provide First World-level medical care to sub-Saharan children to end childhood mortality.
- If you’re white, having babies — and if you’re intelligent, creative, and white, have lots of babies.
- Promoting working from home to help your car last longer and thus reduce air pollution. Elon Musk is a hypocrite when he demands that Twitter employees drive to work every day, yet casts himself as the savior of the Earth by promoting electric vehicles. I have little sympathy for Twitter employees, who are mostly liberal airheads, but I lament the planet which Musk is helping to ruin.
- Drinking from reusable glass bottles.
- Filtering tap water and using plastic-bottled water only for emergencies.
- Using biodegradable, compostable packaging such as wax paper when picking up food, or use containers that you bring with you.
- Opting for biodegradable and compostable products over plastics, because the former decay and return to nature much faster. For example, use wooden disposable cutlery rather than plastic disposable cutlery.
- Buying old things instead of new things. Antiques and thrifted items are cooler than new ones, anyway. They have more of a story to tell, and they’re unique, because they’re not mass-produced.
- Boasting about how long you’ve had certain items, taking good care of them, and repairing instead of replacing them when they’re cost-effective.
- Using dimmer lights in your home and turning off those not in use.
- Not eating a diet that is heavy in meat and dairy.
- Purchasing items from small shops and individuals rather than from companies that store them in large warehouses, which require destroying huge tracts of land and exploiting their workers.
- Replacing beef to some extent with chicken, which has less of an impact on the environment, and not eating seafood. The oceans are already half-dead, and eating seafood is a good way to make them entirely dead.
- Optimally insulating your home to conserve heat.
- Eating food you’ve grown in a garden.
- Not building any new golf courses or ski resorts, because they entail destroying natural habitats.
- Investing in an ozone laundry system. It doesn’t require chemical detergents and requires less water. Consider also purchasing an ozone spray bottle that converts regular water to aqueous ozone, which is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than chemical cleaners, and is also great for deodorizing surfaces.
- Not buying an overly large house or car. This allows you to save money on heating costs and gasoline, and spares the world the pollution.
- Opposing immigration into developed nations, especially from the Third World, since such migrants will have a deeper carbon footprint in the developed world. Moreover, they will tend to be more inclined to destroy the Earth’s wild resources.
- Framing Jews and Africans as world-destroyers, because the former will not allow us to speak honestly about African population growth and the latter are indulging in practices that will destroy all life on Earth, including theirs.

This article was very convoluted because a single word suffices for fertility collapse: feminism. That is literally all that is required to crater the population of Africa. Everything else falls into place. Also, nonwhite population explosion has been followed by an even more precipitous collapse in birthrates over two generations than whites had over two centuries. Social media has also catalyzed instability within marriages, so wiring Africa with WiFi will contribute to population collapse. Black American fertility stands at 1.7, which is well below replacement. When the numbers are released by race next month we may very well find that blacks have joined whites and Amerindians with annual negative growth rates for the first time.
Was looking for this. Paying aging African men high wages isn’t going to stop the Sub-Saharan baby boom from happening. We could also just do things the old fashioned way: I.E. not giving them access to medical care, food, shelter, etc.
The west, whether or not people want to admit it, is directly responsible for this population growth. And we could just as easily stop it simply by not subsidizing the existence of these people.
The biggest problem with overpopulation in Africa and other ‘poorest countries’ in the world is that the dizzy daisies of religions — Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, etc. — shout hysterically “We must feed the poor starving children”! What can we do to shut them down/

All of these nonwhites are entirely at the mercy of market dynamics directed by whîte people. This Ukrainian breadbasket is a nerve center propping up Third World population growth. Now you are seeing the other shoe finally drop in East Africa. Population contraction will be the legacy of the 21st century.
Feminists and progressive ideology is exactly the leftist plan (i.e. ‘hope’) for population control. Some might call it conspiracy, others a trickling pipe dream, to export progressive ideology via the media and Hollywood. Progressive-ism will be adopted everywhere, women will demand jobs and careers and the population will decline (without having awkward conversations that African population growth is daunting). America will be able to be on top by being the ‘best’ at progressive-ism while everyone else struggles with growing pains like Russia did after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
That may be the ‘hope’, but how long will it take, if ever? Does Russia seem on the verge of collapse? The Muslim world may be issuing driver’s licenses to women on occasion but they are far from adopting substantive changes. Instead we see limited change in ideology in the developing world, but they see all the diversity in American films and want to come for the ‘American Dream’ (just like the Tsarnaev family did). We must welcome them all and discriminate against whites so they can get a slice of good old American affirmative action pie.
The Africanization of the world is the greatest threat mankind has ever faced.

Over the short run or next few decades you may be correct, but in the long run or next century I’m betting it will reduce them and lower their overall population growth.
I’m really not sure lowered childhood mortality has quite the role you posit. Religious and ethical beliefs, traditional family structure and access to and willingness to use or eschew simple birth control surely also play a large part. The largest part seems to be the brainwashing of women and men with the belief that there is simply no value in raising children.

Africa would be unable to sustain its population without assistance from the West (and China) in the form of agri-tech such as fertilisers and insecticides. Africans remain incapable of producing these commodities in the quantities required: they lack the skill and efficiency needed to construct and maintain complex chemical synthesis pipelines. The same is true of the medical assistance we provide: the HIV epidemic there would be many times more devastating without Western-developed pharmaceuticals (homegrown African notions concerning the illness and its treatment, let alone its origins, would shame a halfwit). Thus the continual bellyaching from Africans and their diaspora over slavery reparations should be dismissed out of hand. If you want to imagine an Africa truly left to its own devices, untroubled by the iniquitous white man, then consider Haïti, or wait a decade and see how South Africa is getting on.

In Ray Bradbury’s short story “The Other Foot”, all blacks are now living on Mars having left Earth in disgust. After an atomic war destroys most of our planet, a white astronaut arrives to plead with the Martians (i.e., the blacks) to allow the remaining whites to join them on the Red Planet, where they will faithfully serve their new black masters. The noble blacks eventually agree to let bygones be bygones and promise to welcome the white settlers as equals.
Pretty nauseating stuff, but it was written in 1950. Bradbury later wised up and became a vociferous opponent of political correctness.

Fahrenheit 451 is one of the great dystopian novels. In 451 the root cause of books being banned is the demand of the common people not to be “offended”. Remarkably prescient.

Yes, you are right. I read that book so many years ago and I forgot about it. 451 is the temperature at which paper burns and the book is about ( if my memory is correct), the government trying to burn all the books so no one can read. This is a great Dystopian novel like Orwell’s “1984” and “Animal Farm” as well as Huxley’s “Brave New World” and Raspail’s “The Camp of the Saints”. Thanks for reminding me of the book.

Although I appreciate your penchant for explorative thought, you are complicating matters. There will not be a soft revolution where African activity will be taken into consideration. They will be repatriated or abandoned and that will be the end of it. Without access to the prosperity of whites, the population will naturally correct itself. That is why our Jewish parasites do not fear being overrun if we are no more.
On a side note, something that many segregation advocates don’t understand is that blacks have to live in their ancestral homelands. If left to their own devices on a cold, sparse continent they would all die/migrate due to being unable to run power stations (see South Africa’s energy crisis).
Greenhouse gases are a dubious theory, not a fact. Many scientists now openly admit that the planet is actually cooling. Having a warmer climate and an atmosphere richer in CO2 benefits plant growth. It could be devastating to promote global cooling. There is no need to avoid red meat except that which has been treated with nitrates and other contaminants.
Norman Borlaug and his so-called Green Revolution created a lot of this mess. He even got a Nobel Prize (suprise!) for his part in “ending” world hunger. And then there were those awful TV commercials that played nonstop throughout the 1970s depicting emaciated yet bloated sub-Saharan youngsters, lying in the mud, flies crawling on their lips. At age 7 or 8, it was hard for me not to feel bad for them, so children and adults prone to emotional reasoning fell right into the trap. I read what I presumed to be a joke a week or so ago, but there’s nothing really funny about it. Q: What do you get when you feed one million starving Africans? A: Five million starving Africans.
Reducing childhood mortality in Africa is the best way to reduce their fertility in the long run. We need to get them to stop wanting to have so many kids, and if they know their kids won’t die before age five, they won’t want to overcompensate by having so many and neither will they inculcate their kids with ethics conducive to settling down and having lots of babies. We’ve reduce childhood mortality to be quite low among African Americans and Jamaicans, and they’ve responded by reducing their fertility to slightly below replacement level, and I hope we can do the same for Africa, Haiti, etc.
I don’t think that Africans actually think about ‘having’ kids, they are just something that ‘happens to women’. And I have heard (but cannot verify) that many young women — 15-25 years of age — are routinely raped or just ‘fall into bed with guys’ — and just end up pregnant. Then, Christian missionaries celebrate their pregnancies along with all the other women in the tribe. Then, the entire family of the girl also jumps in to ‘raise the child’ (the “It takes a village to raise a child” concept touted by Mrs. Clinton) without the girl even having to share the guy’s name, and probably, she doesn’t even know it. If this is all true, then even child mortality rates will have no effect. We need to study this concept in depth.

The total GDP of OECD nations is $60 trillion. For the record, the OECD includes most nations in the developed world, including most majority-white nations, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Colombia, Mexico, Israel, Chile, and Costa Rica. If they were to dedicate 1% of their GDP, which would total $600 billion, to stopping overpopulation in Africa, it would have huge benefits for the world. Policymakers could fast track the virtual end of childhood mortality, provide free birth control, give a flat rate welfare payment to mothers regardless of family size to incentivize smaller families, and Middle Eastern nations could mount a campaign to end polygamy among black Muslims in West and East Africa. Ideally, they could get Africa’s TFR down to 1.5 kids per woman or roughly a 25% reduction in population each generation or 30 years, which is what we see in Europe now. That would work wonders for material quality of life in Africa. Without the popualtion doubling every generation, they could better look after themselves. More importantly, it would stop their unsustainable human wellspring from destroying the Earth.
Nothing you nor any European could do in Africa would avoid the scolds’ reproofs. The only hope is to make it clear that Africans will not be welcomed, nor even tolerated in the Northern countries. They must sort out their own continent with no hope of settling in ours. This would take some heavily illiberal propaganda in the West to pull off.

I enjoyed this article even though I disagreed with a few points.
“Not eating a diet that is heavy in meat and dairy.” – this is not an intelligent thing to say. Meat and dairy are needed for optimal health. It’s not our European problem that there isn’t enough free range ethically farmed animal protein available for everyone. In fact, this is actually a reason for reversing mass migration. It will free up a lot of space in European countries.
I would add that China and India also deserve some attention.
If global cooling occurs as predicted (the grand solar minimum), this should help Whites keep out the hoardes.
Regarding total world population:
The biggest issue not mentioned is the covid19 vaccines. These and other pharmaceutical products will ensure reduced population. Except here is the trap, those products are most highly used in 1st world European countries. I fear that in the coming years we will see the native populations of Western countries experience a further drop in fertility (due to the vaccines) and then this will be used as further reason to import people. It is essential that we have our own space and increase reproduction from healthy Europeans.
I’d say there’s a pretty good chance all that was by design.

There is so much to say about this article and its subject that it just needs to be read through twice to digest all its points of importance. We have to get a grip on the massive threat of world overpopulation. This post hits all the high points.
First, let’s remember that Whites make up only about 10% of the world population of approximate 8 Billion people, and African Blacks are alone making up 1.5 Billion, (which is double our numbers) let alone the worldwide distribution of Blacks elsewhere. Only in the U.S. are Blacks approaching having lower birth rates near replacement. That’s primarily due to White feminists shrieking against racism stopping Black women from free abortions. Tra-la-la, etc.
The final quote of vast importance to this whole problem outlined in this post: “While Whites should WORK to stop overpopulation in the entire Third World, they must also attempt to increase their — i.e. OUR — own fertility, especially among our own best and brightest.”

Just remember that some on the other side of the aisle see things exactly the opposite. Vox scribe, Matthew Yglesias, got a lot of attention for his book, One Billion Americans, proposing dramatic population expansion. Sure, sounds great.
There’s an interesting video that discusses fertility rates of western women. Basically, women who have children are having them at the same rate as 40-50 years ago (2.4 per woman IIRC). What has increased since then are the number of women who are not having children. Of the women who never have children, 10% can’t have them due to physical reasons, 10% don’t want them and the remaining 80% of women always intended to have them but never did so due to life circumstances such as not having the right partner or wanting to get a career going first.

As far as the article goes, blacks do not plan anything. They are impulse driven. If Whites stopped giving food to black Africa, their population would settle around 300-500 million.
Another related issue is declining fertility with advancing age of the would-be mother ( and father to a lesser extent ). Per-cycle conception rates are around 25% for women in their early twenties, but drop to 5% by age forty. Pursuing a career in her twenties doesn’t necessarily preclude a woman from motherhood but it does drastically reduce her chances of a proper large family with four or more children.
This reminds me of the south park episode about how Jakovosaurs breed fast and are too dumb to fit in with whites. Cartman, who they creators often cast as a right wing conservative, doesn’t mind the Jakovosaurs multiplying.

I wanted to respond to some challenges from commenters this article’s posting on unz.com.
As for the point that there was an illegal slave trade from the date in was made illegal in 1808 to 1865, the African American population grew from 1 million to 5.3 million from 1800 to 1870. Nearly all of this was probably from natural increase. They would have been multiplying at about the rate Africans are now.
Nevertheless, to suit our commenter, let’s compare the African American vs global white populations fro 1870 to 2023:
1870: 5.3 million African Americans per Statista , 343 million whites globally
2023: 41 million African Americans, 900 million whites globally.
During this time span African Americans outbred whites threefold.
A second commenter on unz.com alleges that women’s education is negatively correlated with fertility. This is mainstream knowledge. I don’t know how it compares with childhood mortality’s influence on fertility.
A third commenter on unz.com claims the source of the link I posted didn’t claim that humans have destroyed half of Earth’s biomass. Here’s a quote from the paper:
“A worldwide census of the total number of trees (32), as well as a comparison of actual and potential plant biomass (17), has suggested that the total plant biomass (and, by proxy, the total biomass on Earth) has declined approximately twofold relative to its value before the start of human civilization. The total biomass of crops cultivated by humans is estimated at ≈10 Gt C, which accounts for only ≈2% of the extant total plant biomass (17).
The authors infer that because half of all plant-life is dead, humans have killed half of all biomass on Earth.
In addition to plant-life, they assert that humans have killed 5/6 of all wild animal life, but the total mass of mammals has increased fourfold mainly due to humans raising livestock.
The best objection from the unz.com commenters was one person who said the African population numbers are likely inflated due to corrupt African governments trying to get more foreign aid. Even assuming Africans are half as many as their leaders claim, people on the African continent still would have multiplied from 85 million in 1800 to 650 million today, and this increase is worth reversing by aiming for slightly below replacement level fertility similar to what is going on in the West today. However, I don’t believe estimates are inflated that much and may not be at all.
Here’s a fun fact, 60% of wells fail in Africa. Mindless volunteers claim an app can fix the problem. How about fewer being born instead? Then they wouldn’t have to build so many wells in the first place.
There is an important point to add to the list – promoting women’s postsecondary education in Africa. Educated women marry later, decreasing their fertility window, and have fewer children due to other factors as well
