One of the most common arguments against a National Divorce is that the states could not survive without federal funding. But why would one oppose red-state secession if red states are essentially charity cases? Why would opponents of red-state secession be so eager to continue funding people whom they openly despise? This is contrary to common sense and sounds like gaslighting in an abusive relationship: “You can’t live without me!”
The truth is that scarcely any money is “federal money” to begin with. (more…)

Civil War: based or cringe? That is the million-dollar question.
Your gut tells you that because it is a Hollywood film, it will be an evil MAGAs versus virtuous libtards cringefest with lots of woke anti-white messaging. Yet, part of you holds out hope that maybe it will be unintentionally based. Jews will sometimes screw up and accidentally create Right-wing anti-heroes such as Archie Bunker or Michael Douglas’ character in Falling Down. Maybe there will be some Right-wing villain who delivers nationalist monologues that are meant to come off as ominous to normies but which sounds perfectly sensible to the red-pilled viewer. (more…)

Talk of secession usually focuses on red states, but it can also apply to blue states, perhaps even more so. Part 1 of 2 (Part 2 here)
How much does White Nationalism have in common with other, more local nationalisms? Is it possible to use popular independence movements for our purposes? Is it possible to use, either in their place or additionally, the petty nationalisms of the current states for our purposes? (more…)

The intolerable cruelties inflicted upon white people by Western governments are sufficient for them to invoke their moral right to self-determination under international law and form new nations. The question is not whether they have suffered sufficient injustice, but simply whether they have the power to seize independence. (more…)

In December of this year, Ilya Somin reviewed Christopher Zurn’s book Splitsville, USA: A Democratic Argument for Breaking up the United States, which was published in May. Somin offers several good-faith critiques of Zurn’s position on national divorce, and even praises Splitsville as “. . . the most significant, fully developed, and intellectually respectable, defense of the claim that breaking up the union is actually a good idea.” Somin’s main concerns are the feasibility and effectiveness of a national divorce. As a staunch proponent of national divorce myself, I would like to reply to Somin’s counter-arguments. (more…)
