Writing these words as parts of LA burn at the hands of what looks to me like a hostile occupying foreign force, I learn from most mainstream media that my eyes are lying to me, and that the pro-illegal immigration “protests” are, in fact, “mostly peaceful”, just as they always are (here’s a useful list of reports to prove it). The 1995 film Dangerous Minds is a very bad movie, and I’m not just saying it because I disagree with its liberal-coded themes. Even movie critics, who generally lean left, deemed the movie a tad too corny despite its good intentions. (more…)

Within any political party it is doubtful that the donor interests and voter interests will be perfectly aligned. In the case of the GOP, they appear to be diametrically opposed on the issue of immigration. But as I will show, the interest of an oligarch who cares nothing for blood and soil, or culture and honor, is in fact perfectly aligned with the most strident of White Nationalists on immigration. In the all-white neighborhood of my youth, the faraway people who are now known as “Hispanics” . . . or, more dubiously, as “Latinos” . . . or, unforgivably, as “Latinx” . . . were referred to with the catchall slur “Spics.”
It wasn’t until I reached my mid-teens and found cause to boldly venture into the City of Brotherly Love that I encountered any real-life Hispanics, who all seemed to be Puerto Rican. When I started driving a cab in Philly during my late teens and early 20s, it seemed as if that crumbled city’s most blighted areas were mostly inhabited by Puerto Ricans rather than blacks. (more…)

While I was a student, I had a part-time job at an investment firm paying five whole dollars an hour! (Wow!) Then the company folded; lawyers, to make a very long story short. This left me scrambling to stay afloat during the recession that was beginning to unfold in 1990. The best I could find was a part-time fast-food gig, which for many people is the employment of last resort. But as far as diversity goes, I was living the dream.
I told the story about this wonderful job, and several others which instilled my love for contemporary capitalism, on my free web host account. (more…)

I know, the fifty-fourth Super Bowl is old news. Who cares about something that occurred more than 24 hours ago? We might as well discuss a Babylonian sporting event. However, this Super Bowl averaged 102 million viewers, which makes it the eleventh most-watched event in US history — the top 10 are nine other Super Bowls and the final episode of M*A*S*H — and it is the pinnacle of Americanism. All football games are one elongated advertisement to consume more product, but this particular commercial, Super Bowl LIV, was blatantly hostile to its own consumer base. This seems unique and warrants dissection. (more…)

The Republican Party lost because the rising tide of color demographically dooms its geriatric, out-of-touch, and dwindling base. In order to win, it needs to embrace amnesty, engage in outreach to America’s exciting and dynamic Hispanic, black, Asian, and Pacific Islander youths, and openly renounce its radical fringe.
