Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
Most viruses, like sharks or wolves, strike the weak and those with co-morbidities first and hardest, particularly the immuno-compromised. The Covid-19 virus was true to type in that respect. The great majority of those who died from Covid-19 were old, weak and/or unhealthy individuals with compromised immune systems. The young and healthy had little to fear from it. The official narrative told a different but mendacious story that the virus posed a threat to everyone.
Could bioweapons reach large immuno-compromised populations? Colonel Michael Ainscough of the USAF Counter proliferation Center stated that breakthroughs in genetic engineering and synthetic biology could allow for the weatherization of contagions and the maximization of their killing potential at a scale comparable to that of the Spanish flu. Kennedy writes that Ainscough in his statements was “rhapsodizing about a grim future.” Here we have the requirements for the two strikes of the “one-two punch”.
What of the Biological Weapons Convention of 1975, which set out to amplify the terms of the Geneva Convention by not only banning the use of bioweapons, but forbidding the stocking and creation of them as well? Kennedy explains that the Patriot Act of 2001 introduced clauses that nullified the banning of research by expanding the allowable uses of biological weapons research under the US Biological Weapons Statute. Specifically, Section 817 of the Patriot Act “[…] added bona fide research to the list of activities that are expressly exempt from the Statute prohibitions.” Bioweapons are exempt when “reasonably justified by a prophylactic, protective, bona fide or other peaceful purpose.” And he notes:
[…]nowhere does the Biological Weapons Statute or the Patriot Act define or limit the term “bona fide research”. With this gaping loophole, the United States effectively repealed the BWC in both letter and spirit. The Patriot Act gave the military and intelligence agencies a blank check for bioweapons and relaunched the bioweapons arms race Nixon had tried to end, igniting the explosion in gain-of-function science.
After 9/11, NIAID, under the direction of one Dr. Anthony Fauci, who had begun working there in 1968, practically morphed into a branch of the Defense Department, writes Kennedy. Vice President Cheney had moved to consolidate biodefense research programs into a single entity within the NIAID (Fauci was NIAID director from 1984 to 2022) and Fauci became what Kennedy describes as “the new bioweapons czar.”
The Public Health Service worked so closely with Fort Detrick that it permanently stationed a USPHS (United States Public Health Service) officer at the fort. One NIAID official is recorded as saying “Fort Detrick has been extremely beneficial to our studies on common colds and infectious spread. They furnished us with the equipment and we’ve had a number of joint meetings strictly on a scientific level. It’s had a very beneficial spin-off.”
Kennedy adds wryly: “Hstory suggests that doctors who become entangled with the military’s research programs routinely surrendered to the gravities of weapons research.”
In his capacity as president of the NIAID, Fauci financed a team at Utrecht University led by Lili Kuo (we are not told whether this individual was a Chinese national) which finally made the breakthrough: the creation of a hybridized virus, later to be termed “chimeric”, that is to say a virus which, as a result of laboratory manipulation, could be made to change its normal host, in this case a coronavirus which was altered from targeting mice to targeting cats. Kuo had “fabricated the ultimate bioweapon for the world’s oppressed rodent population” Kennedy quips sardonically.
The seminal paper was given the wordy but disturbing title: “Retargeting of Cornavirus by Substitution of the Spike Glyoprotein Ectodomain: Crossing the Host Cell Species Barrier”. (The possession of an ectodomain was to be a key feature of the Covid-19 virus, because the existence of an ectodomain was a prerequisite for attachment and entry of the viral protein into host cells.) Kuo’s team had achieved a scientific breakthrough, if not necessarily one that everybody would have wished for: it had been proven that it was possible to retarget microbes, certainly viruses and perhaps soon bacteria too, from the evolved natural host to a new host which the virus could infect through alteration of its sequencing. The potential for new bioweaponry is evident. Needless to say, where man is the new host, he will need a new antidote. Two years after this breakthrough announcement, Doctor Fauci announced that his institute would produce a vaccine, a therapeutic drug and an adjuvant drug for each of some two dozen known bioweapon diseases. According to a report in Scientific American, the NIAID’s bio weapons defense budget increased between 2002 and 2023 from $ 270 million to $1.75 billion.
The passing of the Project BioShield Act in 2004 put the NIAID in charge of the modernization and construction of biomedical and behavioral research facilities. According to Kennedy, this paved the way for the reopening of facilities which had been closed down in 1969 under President Nixon. Four maximum security laboratories (BSL-4) were built in the USA: at Boston University, at Fort Detrick, at Galveston and at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory in Montana. The author states that it is not even known for certain how many BSL-4 and BSL-3 laboratories are currently operational in the USA, let alone the world. The University of Carolina counts fifteen for the US, but nobody knows for certain, or at least nobody is saying. A moratorium on research had been imposed by the NIH under President Obama in 2014 imposed in response to anthrax and avian flu incidents, but the moratorium was lifted by the NIH three years later. The ProjectBioschield Act also gave the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) the right to stockpile vaccines which had not been approved but which might be used in an EAU (Emergency Use Authorization) scenario. Kennedy cynically observes, “By 2009, the war on microbes was already eclipsing the war on Islamic terrorism as the preferred driver of the security state cartel.”
What Kennedy calls a “litany of new laws” followed, which “would give the government revolutionary power to declare pandemic emergencies based on completely arbitrary evidence, suspend constitutional rights…and administer fast tract experimental vaccines without proper testing for either safety or efficacy to the entire country, while bestowing vaccine manufacturers and providers with immunity from liability.” This is exactly what happened between 2019 and 2023 with the experimental mRNA jabs.
Among the many players in the saga of this book, four are iterated many times, each playing a particular role in gain-of-function research at Wuhan: Peter Daszac, the then president of EcoHealth Alliance, the networker, raiser of funds and public relations professional; University of North Carolina professor Ralph Baric (Kennedy calls him Dr. Fauci’s “gain-of-function wunderkind” p. 279), the theoretical brains behind research, who created new corona virus sequences in his laboratory and a way for the spike to penetrate human cells; Anthony Fauci, NIAID Director from 1984 to 2022, who managed and protected funding of GOF research; and Shi Zhengli (“bat woman”) the boots on the ground researcher who raided caves for bats and bat feces and conducted gain-of-function research on Sars-Covid 2 in the WIV.
Kennedy calls Peter Daszac “a sketchy and duplicitous British born zoologist” and “bioweapons fanboy”. Daszac was for many years president of EcoHealth Alliance, which served as a financial conduit for the WIV. EcoHealth Alliance had hatched out of the Wildlife Preservation Trust International, a conservationist group founded in 1971 by the British naturalist Gerald Durrell, renamed The Wildlife Trust in 1999. In 2010, fifteen years after Durrell’s death, the Wildlife Trust merged with a group called the Consortium for Conservation Medicine (whose executive director was Peter Daszac) to become the EcoHealth Alliance. The rebranding reflected a radical change in the organization’s focus, moving away from species conservation towards what it termed “environmental health concerns”, especially the threat posed to health by emerging viruses.
This is how Kennedy describes Daszac’s reason for his shift to focusing on virus research:
Daszac apparently realized a fact of life that I could have told him after many decades running the Waterkeeper Alliance, an international clean water advocacy group that I co-founded. Money is hard to come by in the ecosystem conservation racket. Early in the game, Daszac intuited that there were richer rewards in biowarfare, bioterrorism, archiving and, especially, creating deadly pathogens.
Is the author being naive here? Is he suggesting that Daszac was innocently trying to promote wildlife conservation in the spirit of Gerald Durrell until he became frustrated by the lack of money he could raise for conservation projects? That he then switched to gain-of-function research because it attracted more funding? Or does Kennedy mean that Daszac found that there was little opportunity for the kind of self-enrichment in wildlife conservation that he had hoped for and so he then changed the direction of the organization he headed to garner better pickings elsewhere? That all sounds very unlikely.
There is nothing in Daszac’s personal biography which this reviewer can find to suggest that he was at any time interested in wildlife conservation. Surely it is far more plausible that Daszac never for a moment intended to continue Durrell’s conservation work, that from the outset his plan (and of those backing him?) was to redirect the work of EcoHealth Alliance towards something altogether different. The early history as the Wildlife Trust and the new name would serve as a camouflage. The name EcoHealth Alliance sounds well-meaning, perhaps the name of a sort of tree hugging group. Who is against health or against ecology? In all likelihood Daszak hijacked Durrell’s organization. Kennedy himself points out that Daszac was engaged in work alien to anything conceived by Gerald Durrell or mentioned in Durrell’s many accounts of his conservation work and collection for zoos.
Breeding rare species of animals to save them from extinction is surely not what Daszac or EcoHealth Alliance had ever had in mind.
The NIH had began funding gain-of-function research in the WIV, work in which Daszac had been involved since 2005, five years before the founding of EcoHealth Alliance. In that year Daszac co-authored a study with the WIV chief scientist Si Zhengzhou titled simply and ominously “Bats are Natural Reservoirs of SARS like Coronaviruses”. Zhengli led teams to caves hundreds of miles away to collect bats and bat feces to be researched in Wuhan. Money to fund this “conservation” work, “poured in” as Kennedy puts it. In 2008 for example, NIAID awarded to Daszac (presumably via EcoHealth Alliance, although Kennedy does not say so) a five year grant of a staggering $3.7 million. Any genuine conservationist should be heartbroken and angry to learn of this kind of money being sunk by the American tax payer into dubious (at best) -biological research in China when a fraction of such money would have enabled Gerald Durrell to significantly expand his work to save animal species from extinction. Kennedy sees the switching of work to Wuhan as an evasive manometer in reaction to a moratorium on gain-of-function research in the United States:
Daszac would use this funding during the Obama moratorium to continue his labors collecting weapons potential viruses from bat feces and funding Chinese and US scientists to enhance those viruses to more effectively infect and kill human beings…The evidence suggests that the NIH gatekeepers, Drs. Fauci and Collins, simply waved Daszac’s proposals past the regulatory finishing lines.
Daszac was calling for what he called a pan coronavirus vaccine. Daszac spoke along with Bill Gates at a two day conference in Geneva organized by the WHO where they warned of an impending global plague. Throughout his career, Daszac’s gift for fund raising and networking with government bureaucracies, NGO’s and prominent financiers and virologists is as is his indifference to wildlife conservation. According to Kennedy, he wheedled $16 million from the department of Health and Human Services alone. Daszac’s biggest funding pool however was apparently USAID, the United States Agency for International Development, which Kennedy asserts has become a CIA front.
A key element of the interrelationship of different parties in gain-of-function research is public-private partnership. USAID has been involved in the “Global Virome Project”, a scheme to create an archive of the world’s viruses with pathogenic potential. Collaborators on the project included Peter Daszac, Dennis Carroll (an infectious disease researcher who had worked for the CDC and then moved to USAID,) and Oxford University educated George Gao, at the time China’s CDC director, and Nathan Wolfe, a WEF “Young Global Leader” graduate. Wolfe has served on the editorial board of EcoHealth Alliance, co-authored a paper with Daszac on corona bat viruses and co-founded the company Metaboia with Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. The company was implicated in the operation of bioweapon research in the Ukraine, according to Russian authorities.
“The central role of US intelligence agencies in the organized clover-up of COVID-19’s origins between 2020 and 2023 should come as no shock” writes Kennedy.
The CIA’s fingerprints are all over the US funded gain-of-function studies at the Wuhan labs, the preparation for the militarized management of a corona pandemic long before such an event was considered possible by infectious disease experts, the creation of the COVID vaccines, including Moderna; and Operation Warp Speed[…] Furthermore, the pandemic and subsequent cover-up also bear the fingerprints of British intelligence, Sir Jeremy Farrar, who masterminded the cover-up with Drs. Fauci, Collins and Daszac, is the Director of Welcome Trust, an organization with deep ties to MI5.
Daszac and others were accused of diverting USAID funding to their Global Virome Project. According to Kennedy, Daszac and colleagues “had been approaching funders, including the Chinese government, to create an arsenal of weaponizable viruses and accompanying mRNA vaccines.” (p 224) A predictably ingenuous seeming Wikipedia piece states that “the Global Virome Project is an American led international collaborative research initiative based at the One Health Institute at the University of California Davis.” The One Health Initiative mixed conservationist activities such as “Oiled Wildlife Care Network” with the PREDICT project launched in 2009 (a project in the words of One Health Initiative which “developed global surveillance of pathogens that can spill over from animal hosts to people”). PREDICT was closed in 2020 under President Trump. It did not warn of the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan, in other words PREDICT failed in the very task for which it had ostensibly been created. This is all the more strange given that Andrew Huff, associate vice president of EcoHealth Alliance, told the author that
[T]he USAID PREDICT program heavily focused on coronavirus research even though there are hundreds of other animal pathogens that can leap to humans. They seemed to only research the diseases that would promote vaccine development…Huff points out that those… were the same diseases that are potential bioweapons.
Kennedy is convinced that Daszac is a CIA asset and that the CIA was arming the Chinese government through the research of Baric, Daszac and others with ever more sophisticated weaponry and technology.
What was the research at Wuhan all about? It was to find out whether the SARS Covid-2 virus had the potential to morph into a contagious disease with widespread transferability to humans. The SARS Covid-2 virus in its natural state had a difficult time mastering human to human spread. It was not likely to infect humans in any case, for one reason because to be infected one needed to enter into close contact with a not particularly common species of Chinese horseshoe bat resident in Northern China. Could the virus be made more virulent and could the “problem” of transferability between humans be solved?

The really strange thing is that daily we are told that China is our enemy, and confrontation is unavoidable. Yet, this book tells us that in reality we have been working with China for decades to develop bio weapons to wipe out large portions of humanity. 🙃

“We,” Peter?
China is the enemy of Whites. All the reasons Chinese are our racial enemies do not need listing, except the one: that they cannot make White babies. They should stay in China.
RFK,Jr. may hve done good work cleaning up the Hudson River, or whatever, and trying now to remove red dye #40 from US foods, but can he be trusted to be in charge of much else? At least he admits in this book that USAID is a front for the nefarious CIA.
John Massaro, our foremost expert on vaccines, their Jewish history and their ineffectiveness, provides some background about Bobbyboy, then exposes him as a crass anti-vaxx hypocrite, here, “Just Another Kennedy” at nationalvanguard.org.
…Robert Kennedy Jr. is a seriously flawed individual. As a teenager he was expelled from two boarding schools for drug use and arrested for possession of marijuana. Years later he became a heroin addict and was arrested again for possession of that substance. (His younger brother David died of a drug overdose). He’s for same-sex marriage and LGBTQ privileges. He’s good friends with trashy Jewish comedian Larry David and pushy Holohoax survivor Vera Sharav. He’s now on his third marriage and was an unfaithful, skirt-chasing bum, which seems to be a genetic trait with the men of this family. On September 8, 2013, the New York Post published a juicy article titled “RFK’s sex diary: His secret journal of affairs.” The newspaper purportedly obtained a copy of his 2001 diary which detailed his liaisons with 37 women, sixteen of whom he had sex with (he kept a “scorecard”), while he was married to his second wife Mary Richardson, who committed suicide in 2012. The article documents some rather kinky behavior and attitudes on his part. The diary is actually quite introspective, with Bobby confessing to feelings of guilt about his “lust demons.” When questioned by a Post reporter about it, he denied that he kept a diary that year. You can read the article online and draw your own conclusions. One fact alone, that he’s been a longtime friend and supporter of Hillary Clinton, has praised her character, campaigned for her and actually called her “great,” should tell you all you need to know about this guy. If not, consider his assessment of October 7 as “an ignominious, unprovoked, and barbaric attack on Israel” which “must be met with world condemnation and unequivocal support for the Jewish state’s right to self-defense. We must provide Israel with whatever it needs to defend itself — now.”…
Last year I read his book The Real Anthony Fauci, which goes far beyond the crimes of that infamous slimeball…The Jewish media, masters of deceit and confusion, have long been spinning RFK as an anti-vaxxer, but he’s anything but. Since the Kennedy name is catnip to so many, including well-meaning people who have been exposing the vaccine fraud, RFK’s input, both as a public speaker and a literary contributor, is frequently sought. He wrote the foreword to Vaccine Whistleblower: Exposing Autism Research Fraud at the CDC, published in 2015. Most of this book is a transcript of four secretly but legally recorded phone conversations with a conscience-stricken senior scientist at the CDC named William Thompson. These are RFK’s opening lines: “I have always been fiercely pro-vaccine. I had all six of my children vaccinated. I believe that vaccines have saved millions of lives and that broad vaccine coverage is desirable. To achieve those goals we need safe vaccines, transparent and reliable science, and an independent regulatory agency.” Some anti-vaxxer…
As for China and Chinese people, they are our racial enemy and must be separated from our White communities. They are unassimilable. Fact! I was reading Dr. Pierce’s “Shocking Differences” at nationalvanguard.org yesterday, where he reminded us of important differences among us and the Chinese:
…The Chinese are a people with whom we are rapidly becoming more and more closely involved, both through trade and through immigration. And the properly conditioned lemming will tell you that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. The Chinese, after all, are exactly like us, except that they speak a different language, are a little darker, and have slanted eyes. They add wonderfully to our “diversity” here. They enrich our culture by their presence.
Well, actually they’re not quite like us. They have different customs, and those different customs come from a different way of looking at the world, a different attitude toward life, and that different attitude evolved over the course of thousands of generations of living in a different environment from the environment in which our ancestors lived. For example, the Chinese eat babies and see nothing wrong in it…
And what they do to cats and dogs they get their hands on is too horrible, too sickening, for me to describe here. What they do to cats and dogs is much worse than just eating them. But to get back to babies: I had heard reports from time to time about the Chinese custom of eating babies in the belief that it is an especially healthy thing to do. For a modern nuclear superpower, the Chinese have some strange ideas about health. These ideas have nearly wiped out a number of species of wild animals because of the insatiable Chinese demand for their body parts. Ground rhinoceros horn is in such demand that it has seriously threatened the rhinoceros with extinction. The same sort of demand exists for tiger penises and various bear parts.
Human babies are harder to get for eating, and I imagine that there are laws in China about killing babies for that purpose. But there seems to be no law against eating aborted human fetuses. A number of hospitals in China that perform abortions sell the aborted fetuses for eating. The smaller fetuses are cooked in a soup. The late-term fetuses are eaten more like roast suckling pig. The Chinese government understandably is a little bashful about having Western journalists publicize this sort of thing, just as it is bashful about having Western journalists film what the Chinese do to cats and dogs. Not to worry, though: Western journalists understand that it would be the worst kind of “no, no” to publish such information in the West; it might dampen the public’s enthusiasm for more togetherness with the Chinese…
Peter, those who tell us daily that China is our enemy are correct, if only for these shocking differences — not just for importing fentinyl and heroine, flying spy balloons over our nation, stealing intellectual property, crowding our universities with students — thanks now to Trump — pissing in our gene pool and possibly eating our household pets, etc., etc, They are not to be trusted or allowed in our midst.
Enjoy the 4th of July jrah rah jingoism with all of those Chinese fireworks. It may be your last chance to do that. Trump’s sanctions against China will be putting an end to that unless the US can begin manufacturing her own fireworks with slave labor like China does. Not likely.

And here I am after more than 5 years, still waiting for any pathogen to be isolated that caused this supposed “disease” known as Covid-19… It’s easier to fool people into believing there is a sickness going around than to create a sickness to go around.
