Suicidal Empathy: Dying to be Kind

Gad Saad is a Lebanese Jew whose family moved to Canada after a Palestinian nationalist group aligned with the Global Left called Fatah kidnapped his parents. Given this history he has come to view the extremely feminine American and Canadian liberal position of empathy towards killers, convicts, and terrorists with alarm, especially as these views have become official government policy.

That’s right, goy. Look over here at these bad Muslims. Do not notice the other Middle Eastern people who have taken almost complete control of your government and have been ruling you to your own destruction. Continue to listen to them and buy their latest book that was “written as a justification of modern Israel’s genocidal attack on Gaza.”
Muslims are a problem in the US. But they might not be in the top 10 problems. The number one problem was revealed in the Thomas Massie primary.
Barbara Oakley edited the definitive book on “Pathological Altruism” (same principle as “suicidal empathy,” different name) way back in 2012:

Even prior to her book, we have the prophet James of Burnham, writing in his 1964 work, Suicide of the West: An Essay on the Meaning and Destiny of Liberalism:
“The (White) liberal, and the group, nation, or civilization infected by liberal doctrine and values, are morally disarmed before those whom the liberal regards as less well off than himself.”
Facing groups that he chooses to regard as less well off than himself, he is morally disarmed. Because liberalism is essentially a moralism, his only job then is to atone by making these chosen groups the object of his benevolence to the detriment of his own kind.
This perversion is pathological altruism. This is Western suicide.
Don’t waste your precious time on this man’s writing. As a single-minded cheerleader he cares for only one thing, and it’s certainly not white people or the fate of Europe.
Thanks for sharing. I follow Saad but am always wary of the ulterior motive that you mention — an increasing number of Jewish intellectuals seem to be publicly attaching themselves to the Western heritage to justify Israel’s aggression. Elon has been shilling for this book and I have been undecided. I guess I’ll take the plunge.
Jewish ethnocentrism is instinctive in nature. As soon as a Jew in the diaspora meets another Jew, they immediately cheer up, even if they were complete strangers until that moment. They act as if they’ve found a long-lost relative. In contrast, a white person’s greatest enemy is often another white person. White people are divided by class, education, background, and political affiliation. Jews also never forget their solidarity with Israel. My friend’s father is a completely secular Jew who is an apolitical scientist. But when he hears about Palestinians, he immediately calls for their expulsion as terrorists, even though he has never been to Israel himself. But I can’t say that Jews necessarily hate goyim. Most assimilated Jews think of themselves as white Americans or Europeans. It’s just that, as Jews, they feel a little (or a lot) superior and think they should boss ordinary white people around and tell them how to behave.
It is also true that wealthy Jews often have a deep appreciation for high European culture. Their homes are veritable museums, lined with paintings and books.
Tom Wolfe’s story, Radical Chic: That Party at Lenny’s, described a party hosted by (((Leonard Bernstein))) and attended by Jews, indulged radical Blacks, and the treacherous elite Whites sucking up to them. This party was part of the culture of suicidal empathy, not for the Jews who were culturally poisoning the Whites, and not for the radical Blacks who were out for what they could get, but for the fake-elite Whites who were harming their own group interests as Whites.
Excluded from the party were working class Whites below, who know that the “elites” there had only ice-hearted contempt for them. Tom Wolfe does not dwell on this but he does point it out bluntly.
Our culturally enforced suicidal empathy is selective. It focuses on designated victims like the Blacks at that party at Lenny’s, and leaves out in the cold the great mass of us Whites.
Jewish Gad Saad has authors a comprehensive book that explores the concept of “suicidal empathy” prevalent in Western societies. However, he notably overlooks the significant influence that Jewish cultural and intellectual movements have had in shaping and promoting this phenomenon.
Gad Saad is an anti-Québec pièce of shit. Glad he’s leaving.
