Vary Your Approach Depending on Your Audience
A few days before last November’s presidential election, a liberal friend of mine tried unsuccessfully to convince me to vote for Kamala Harris. Her argument was that Trump had to be defeated because the Republicans might restrict access to abortions and transgender surgeries. Before she began the conversation, she was well aware that neither of those two things were important to me. Even so, she gave herself the wholly unnecessary extra task of trying to convince me to vote for Harris on the basis of those two issues. I say this was unnecessary because she also knew that my views on economic matters are typically closer to the Democrat position than the Republican one. Yet, she still chose to base her argument upon the issues she is most passionate about instead of concentrating on the issues where we agreed. In other words, she did not apply what she knew about her audience (me) when crafting her appeal.
To avoid making a similar mistake, begin your conversation by bringing up a topic that you know you both agree on, and then connect it to our issues. Is your friend passionate about environmental protection? If so, you can bring up the threat mass immigration poses to the environment. Is he concerned about crime? Well then you can talk about what demographics commit the most crime. Does she get annoyed when she sees interracial couples in commercials? Let her know who controls the companies that produce those ads.
Practice Patience, not Pushiness
It would be wonderful indeed if every person you talked with was instantly persuaded to adopt your views, but no matter how charismatic you are, this is unrealistic. Even the best door-to-door salesmen, telemarketers, and religious missionaries routinely get told “no.” Furthermore, we have an especially difficult task because the “product” we are selling (White Nationalism) is relentlessly demonized. Imagine that in some faraway land, there has been a decades-long media campaign to convince the public that ice cream is deathly poisonous. Our position is not unlike like that of an ice cream vendor in that hypothetical country.
University professor Thomas Dalton wrote an exemplary article for the Occidental Observer about his experiences spreading the word about the Jewish Question. Dalton starts off by lamenting that critics of Jewish power often face tremendous resistance despite the factual basis of their arguments:
We repeatedly encounter intelligent and well-read individuals who, we believe, surely must share our sense of concern and outrage. If they do not, it can only be from lack of knowledge; therefore, a short chat or a targeted reading or two, we think, will do the trick. The facts are indisputable, and hence it is merely a matter of information. Once our friends have the requisite facts, they will surely—surely—see things our way. And yet, time after time, they do not.
He then proceeds to make a most insightful observation that helps to clarify why this is so often the case:
At its most basic level, the situation is one in which the relative novice is confronted with a difficult, troubling, and potentially catastrophic scenario: profound social corruption by wealthy and powerful Jews. (I stress the ‘relative’ here; everyone, even the functionally illiterate, has heard something negative about the Jews, likely many negative things.) It is a ‘bad news’ story of the highest magnitude. And the last thing many people want in their lives these days is another bad news story.
It should be noted that Dalton’s observation applies not only to conversations about the Jewish question, but also to discussions of racial differences, the Great Replacement, and the many problems with the mainstream narrative of the Second World War. Like it or not, we are going to be perceived as bearers of “bad news.” It’s not going to be pleasant for others to hear that their race is under attack and that profound change is needed to rectify this situation. When you set out to redpill someone, you are in effect asking two things of them:
- To entertain ideas that they have been told by voices of authority (politicians, the education system, news media etc.) are mean, crazy, or simply evil, thereby transgressing the moral paradigm that has dominated the western world for decades and jumping headfirst into the realm of heresy.
- To join you in becoming an agent of radical change, which may require them to sacrifice some of their time, money, and perhaps social or career prospects to serve a cause that is currently well outside the bounds of social acceptability.
Is it any wonder, then, that many will try their very hardest to dismiss your appeals? The aforementioned Counter-Currents poll found that only about one-third of respondents who were first exposed to pro-white ideas through friends and family immediately accepted them. Anticipate that it will take more than a single conversation to bring someone over to our way of thinking.
In light of this, it is evident that patience on the part of the “red-piller” is crucial. This also means that it’s opposites, impatience and pushiness, have to be avoided. I don’t recommend trying to fit as much information as you can into the conversation. Too much new information can be confusing and overwhelming. Additionally, once you have talked about our issues with someone, it is not necessary to bring up politics every time you see them. In fact, this might only annoy them and cause them to become frustrated with you, which is definitely not the outcome you want. Quite possibly, he or she just needs some time to ponder what you have said.
I also wish to emphasize that if instead of immediately agreeing with you, your interlocutor asks several follow-up questions and expresses misgivings about adopting your views, this does not mean that you have done something wrong. On the contrary, it demonstrates that they are interested in what you have to say and might be willing to consider your perspective and rethink their prior positions. Encourage questions, and make sure they know that they are welcome to talk to you about the subject again.
Success Stories and Concluding Thoughts
The first real “victory” that I can claim occurred approximately two years after I became a race realist. I had made friends with a very right-wing coworker who would often talk about politics, and I was well aware that she disliked affirmative action, admired Robert E. Lee, and opposed the removal of Confederate monuments. Another thing I knew about her was that she was a strong supporter of Israel due to her fundamentalist religious convictions.
One afternoon, while the two of us were grabbing some fast food on our lunch break, I told her that I agreed that Jews have a right to their own sovereign homeland (which is true, though I didn’t specifically mention that I felt the same way about the Palestinians, nor did I touch upon my views regarding the Israel Lobby in America). However, I added that this right ought to apply to all ethnic groups, including White Americans. After briefly pausing to ponder my statement, she said that she agreed. Because she was sympathetic to the Confederacy, I then put forth the claim that southern segregationists were similar to Israelis, in that both groups desired to live, work, and go to school among their own people and so set up a system of laws that enforced separation. My framing of these issues was very straightforward: if it’s perfectly acceptable, even admirable, for Jews to be nationalistic, then it there is nothing wrong with whites doing the same. Again, she expressed agreement. We would also agree that race-mixing was distasteful, and that neither of us had any interest whatsoever in dating or sleeping with someone outside of our race. Before we went back to the office, I made the point that white Americans had a great deal to be proud of and that it was absurd for anyone to suggest that we give up our country to foreigners. She wholeheartedly concurred.
The two of us became closer after that initial conversation, and would make jokes and share memes for the rest of the time we worked together. The last time I saw her; we were at a mutual friend’s apartment and I was just about to walk back to my place. “Be careful” she warned as I stood up to leave “there could be black people out there!”
It wasn’t hard to figure out that this coworker would be a good person to broach the subject of White Nationalism with. Frankly, she wasn’t difficult to convince, as she was most of the way there already. But what about those who need a bit more help? I do have several friends who are not fully on board with White Nationalism but, as a result of my efforts, are far closer than they once were. Last year, a longtime friend expressed disdain for the pornography industry, and I causally mentioned that a certain ethnic group dominates that field. Skeptical, he began naming different adult websites and asking me who owned them. I did a quick Google Search for each company he inquired about and just about “every single time” as the meme goes, the man in charge was of Hebrew lineage. After seeing the proof, he became very curious as to what other schemes Jews were involved in, and I was more than happy to tell him.
As a general rule, I purposely choose not to talk about these issues until I get to know someone fairly well, and that strategy has worked for me. After I establish a good relationship with someone, then, if I think there is a realistic chance that they will be receptive, I may gradually reveal my beliefs. In my experience, if you communicate your views calmly, back them up with evidence, and are willing to answer questions, those you know might slowly come around to your way of thinking.
It is important to remember that one cannot definitively predict or control how someone will respond when they discover what you really think about race. There will probably be times when the best outcome is for you and your conversation partner to “agree to disagree” and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Actually, you can still help the cause even if you don’t succeed in red pilling a single person. Among the greatest obstacles that White Nationalists must overcome is our reputation. Our ideological enemies love to portray us as short-tempered, vulgar, prone to violence, and needlessly cruel and sadistic. Expect that whoever you are talking to has that kind of mental image of White Nationalists, and make sure your rhetoric does not reinforce it. By coming across as intelligent and levelheaded while communicating your views, you are refuting this perception. That alone is a tremendous benefit to the cause.
Without question, there is much more that can be written about this subject, and I will be the first to admit that I don’t have all of the answers. I welcome any critiques or suggestions that the Counter-Currents readership may have. My hope is that this essay will kickstart a productive discussion about this critically important topic.

The brain has a limited capacity, therefore if, for example, someone’s sexual experience, or consumption of pornography, has been in an anarchic framework, then this procedure cannot be changed. The same holds true for political ideology. Better to get them while they are young.

I personally have a bronze, silver, gold and diamond league. It makes sense to talk to a person about at most one higher league. Bronze league – you are allowed to criticise these things – Green deal, homo-lobby, European Union, corruption, bureaucracy. This is criticized by many people and politicians, too. It is very safe. This is controlled opposition. The Silver League – criticism of Islam, non-white immigration. Golden League – open white nationalism, truth about differences between human races, reconquest of Europe, demand for ethnostate. Diamond League – very few people are here and none of the modern politicians. Criticism of Jewish influence, Jewish evolutionary strategy, solution to the Jewish question. You can’t talk to a libtard about the ethnostate and the Jewish question, the libtard has no information and is unable to even look up the information. Libtard will only slander you among your friends. Libtard is not helpful to our cause.
The Jewish question is by far the most difficult to get across to the average white American. Most white people don’t know any Jews and are completely taken in by the narrative of the last 80 years. Jews look white. There’s no reason to suspect that they would act against our interests. On the other hand Arab Muslims look sinister. If you mention an Arab people conjure up an image in their minds of Osama bin Laden with an AK-47. Blacks show their hand every night on the 6:00 news. Jews on the other hand are a tough sell to the normies.
I agree with everything you say here, but I also believe that the taboo against criticizing Jews is weakening. Because of Israel’s atrocities, criticism of Jews is far more acceptable, particularly for younger adults. For those college-aged and younger, the perception of Jews as the ultimate victims is collapsing.
I believe the Epstein episode has opened the eyes of many who never gave Jewish people a second thought. My oldest and dearest living friend is Jewish and even he can’t believe the depths of corruption with some of his brethren.
I enjoyed the article because it’s exceptionally difficult to get into even the lightest elements of race realism. Fortunately non whites are becoming less and less sympathetic due to Trump and his aggressive enforcement at the border and internally. If a news organization wants eyeballs it’s going to have to cover real events rather than always slanting stories their way.
There are even some blacks who are more joo-wise than I’d expect. At that moment ratface nosey koshermorphs into being White to commandeer the ship and crash it into a goldberg. Based funny people should meem that scenario viral and await the ban to prove us right. A missed opportunity was for the campus ‘free palestiners’ to not call gaza a holocaust (which it is) when it was news-hot. She wouldn’t be ready for Dr. Dalton’s exceptional hard line, his tough-minded yet scholarly criticism of Christianity and of the Jewish bandit state she supports. Many on C-C aren’t ready for him either… yet.

My initial working title for this essay was “Blacks and Jews: The Sh*t Sandwich.” The idea was that American Whites are currently sandwiched between 40 million Blacks ‘below’ and 6 million Jews ‘above.’ (Here, of course, the sh*t is the bun, not the filling.) Under such conditions, it is unsurprising that we suffer a panoply of ills—moral, physical, and psychological. Under such conditions, a flourishing White society is all but impossible. The only remedy is to remove the chief source of the problem: Blacks raus and Jews raus. Given this, I changed my title to reflect not merely a description of the problem but rather a solution.
And who has the courage to talk about this? I don’t claim any special abilities, but I see many in the alternate media and dissident right who merely dance around these issues (I’m thinking here less of podcasters than writers). Many of the more prominent figures, like Tucker Carlson, Jonathan Cook, Pepe Escobar, Alastair Crooke, Michael Hudson, or Patrick Lawrence, scarcely have the nerve to mention Blacks or Jews at all. Others do mention them, but then tiptoe around the topic, neglecting to put forth anything like a vision or solution to the problem. For all the bluster in the dissident media, there is a real lack of courage regarding solutions.
Sometimes there is virtue in simply speaking the truth, bluntly and clearly: White and European societies cannot flourish or survive with large numbers of Blacks or Jews; therefore, they must be removed—all of them. Who else will join this call?

You’re certainly correct that most don’t base their political beliefs on reason alone, and very few ever seek out opinions that differ from their own.
