    Irreplaceable Communities

    3,808 words

    Translated by F. Roger Devlin

Communities, whether old or recent, whether ethno-cultural, linguistic, religious, sexual, or something else, are natural dimensions of belonging. No individual can exist without belonging, even if only to distance himself from it. (more…)

Morálka lidské mysli Jonathana Haidta, část druhá

    Jonathan Haidt

    4,274 slov

    Část první

    English original here

(more…)

Morálka lidské mysli Jonathana Haidta, část první

    3,587 slov

    Část druhá

    English original here

Bývalý liberál Jonathan Haidt je profesorem etického vedení na Sternově ekonomické fakultě Newyorské univerzity. Nedávno přišel s novou knihou The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas are Setting up a Generation for Failure (Rozmazlená americká dušička aneb jak dobré úmysly a špatné nápady vysílají celou generaci na cestu neúspěchu; spoluautor Greg Lukianoff), (more…)

The Will to Power & Unbridled Egoism, Part 1

    5,924 words

Part I here, Part II here, Part III here, Part IV here, Part V here, Part VI here

    Part 1 of 2

A life devoted to self-aggrandizement might appear to be in accord with nature, which sanctions the will to power. But in reality, overweening individualism cannot lead to the happy outcome that Aristotle conceived as the ultimate goal of man’s life. Power serving exclusively egotistical ends is relatively short-lived and thus of a lower order of magnitude. (more…)

Michael Brendan Dougherty’s My Father Left Me Ireland

    2,318 words

    Michael Brendan Dougherty
My Father Left Me Ireland: An American Son’s Search for Home
    New York: Sentinel Books, 2019

When this was first published a couple of years ago, reviewers had two distinct takes about the book. One was that it was a wistful, sometimes bittersweet memoir about growing up without a father, because the father was off in Ireland, having never married Dougherty’s American mother; and also, the author had some romantic notions about Ireland, and wasn’t that special.  (more…)

Toward A New Era of Nation-States, Part VI:
The Will to Power as a Governing Principle

Otto von Bismarck memorial in Berlin

    5,924 words

Part I here, Part II here, Part III here, Part IV here, Part V here

The average European is not yet very concerned that his country is slowly sinking in the quicksand of the globalist system. Demographic collapse and deindustrialization are truly deadly threats, but their effects manifest themselves gradually. One can make adjustments and ignore impending danger, much like the proverbial frog being slowly boiled alive.  (more…)

Being Liked By Others While Hating Yourself

    Frederic Remington, The Puncher, 1895.

    1,172 words

As I understand it, most people would strongly prefer that others approve of them even if it means being untrue to themselves — and that’s something I’ll never understand about most people.

It seems that most people would rather be liked by others than be okay with themselves, and that’s something I strongly dislike about most people and think is not okay at all. (more…)

If I had to recommend one book on politics, it would be James Burnham’s The Machiavellians. If I had to recommend one pamphlet, it would be an overlooked gem of American political discourse, Sam Francis’s The Other Side of Modernism: James Burnham and His Legacy. There is no white identitarian, racially aware conservative, American nationalist, or any other member of the Dissident Right who does not owe a massive debt to this towering genius. If I Were Black, I’d Vote Democrat

Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, at a vaccination drive.

Lipton Matthews has advised Republican politicians to stop pandering to black people. Of course, he’s correct. Any Republican politician who wants to win elections would be well served by reading Matthews’ recent Counter-Currents article.
