Like all journals of dissident ideas, Counter-Currents depends on the support of our readers. So far this year, we’ve raised $106,075, or 35.36% of our $300,000 goal. I want to thank everyone who has donated so far. (Please donate here!) And now, A. C. C. Reader explains why the excuses some readers make for not donating don’t hold water — and reminds us that every great undertaking begins with a single step. (more…)

The reignition of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict shows how information is one of the most critical aspects of modern warfare. Posters that appeared in the cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody near Vancouver, British Columbia caused a bit of a stir in late September. Looking for Mr. Goodbar is a lesser-known 1970s Diane Keaton film, but that does not really say a lot when you consider that her well-known films from that decade include all-time classics such as The Godfather films and Woody Allen’s glory-years entries such as Annie Hall. Add to this the fact that Looking for Mr. Goodbar has been notoriously difficult to find. While it is occasionally shown on TV, it has never been released on DVD or Blu Ray and is not available on any streaming service due to music licensing issues arising from its disco-era soundtrack. But the film made a splash when it was released in 1977 and even had the distinction of being the movie that ended Star Wars’ 15-week run at the top of the box office. (more…)

“You don’t make up for your sins in the church. You do it in the streets. You do it at home. The rest is bullshit and you know it.” — opening line of Mean Streets
Hollywood collapsed in the 1960s. It proved, if nothing else, that when it comes to big money, even Jews can screw up. A combination of anti-trust actions and the rise of television meant that studio lots fell silent, and the golden age of Hollywood was over. (more…)

Looking at the list of Nobel Laureates, one cannot help but notice who rules the world and what political agenda they intend to impose. Sometimes, in fact, the Nobel Prize becomes a means to spread hate propaganda against the enemies of the System.
For example, this year’s Nobel prizes have aimed at supporting the struggle of the sexes in our countries (Claudia Goldin), reinforcing the dwindling confidence in the COVID vaccines (Weissman and Karikó), and slamming Israel’s main enemy in the region, the Islamic Republic of Iran, by the way they allegedly treat their women (Narges Mohammadi) — now that the United States military has been definitively driven out of the Taliban’s Afghanistan and the women there no longer matter.
