The new Swedish political party, Alternative for Sweden, is attempting to offer a more staunch stand against mass immigration than is currently being offered by the other Right-wing parties in Sweden. This is their appeal to Americans for support.

I am all for it, but several issues:
(1) In practical terms, to enter the Swedish Riksdag a party must surpass the 4% threshold to gain any seats. A final vote of 3.9% or lower = zero seats. Can AfS get 4.0% or higher?
(2) Meanwhile, the Sweden Democrats have been polling over 20%, which could mean a vote up to 30% (in 2014, polls consistently underestimated their support; they got 13 votes for 10 they were predicted to get. Predicted by polls, incl. exit polls: 9.9%; actually got: 12.9%). Given (1) above, is a vote for AfS simply taking away from the SD vote and cancelling it? How far towards the anti-white political center has SD moved?
(3) On electoral potential: From 2010 to 2014, Sweden Democrats almost never polled below 4% (the threshold), and thus were always expected to get seats, even if not the 20%-30% it will likely get in 2018.
(4) Smaller, harder line racialist parties, National Democrats and Party of the Swedes, seem now to be gone. They never had electoral potential.
1. 1200 members, 2 members of the parliament defected to AfS, 2% in a national poll, support of most if not all alt-media. The whole country is buzzing about this, all in 3 weeks. The chance, I would say, is very good.
2. The chairman of SD, Jimmie Åkesson, commented that the creation of AfS is a good thing because racists and extremists have someone to vote for. We don’t want anything to do with people like this he said.
Åkesson commented he would not vote for Trump because Trumps immigration policy is to restrictive.
Åkesson said SD would rater be without a group in the EU-parliament than join Front National because they are racist.
Åkesson said he thought it was good that leftists protesters attacked Party of the Swedes during the last election because thy are “natzis”.
A video leaked of him saying he had no problem with christian immigration from the middle east to Kaldean Irakies.
The party had been in contact with Swedish equivalent of Searchlight called Expo in order to combat racism. This is just the top of the iceberg, but you get the gist of it.
The party policy is commendable on many points, especially in regard to foreign policy, but once again there is lack of understanding on finance. The focus is on taxation. The party wants to secure Sweden’s sovereignty but does not seem to realize that without financial sovereignty it is meaningless. Is there any party in Sweden that opposes the global financial system? It is once again the Achilles heal of Rightist parties.
