Events in Europe have been developing at great speed in the last couple of years. There was the Ukrainian Revolution, which induced an aggressive Russian response, revealing the dormant anti-western, anti-white feelings in its leadership and the majority of its populace. Then came the onslaught of non-white invaders, ludicrously referred to as “refugees” by the anti-white establishment and media, which is taking place at hitherto unprecedented proportions.
These events revealed a chasm within the white world in general and within Europe in particular. It became most apparent in the drastically different reactions of Eastern and Western Europeans to the “refugee crisis.” Western European leaders accepted the invaders with open arms. Several Eastern European leaders, however, took a clear and firm stance against the invasion, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán being the most vocal. Anti-immigration marches attracting many thousands of people have taken place in many Eastern European cities. Although there is increasing resistance in Western Europe, for the time being it cannot reach the levels observed in the east.
What is more heartening is that Eastern Europeans are very well aware (much more so than their western counterparts) of the true nature of the problem – i.e., that it is not a cultural problem, but rather a racial one, and they are more frank about it in their conversations. Even many on the political Left are racially aware and would be classified as “racist” and “extreme-Right” in the West.
Another heartening sign is the development of a pan-European identity among Eastern Europeans. Although individual countries are rather shamefully trying to fob off unwanted refugees on their neighbors, there is an increasing awareness that this is a problem for Europe as a whole, and that the EU does not have Europe’s common interests at heart. The recently re-emerged military threat from Russia and pressure from the EU to accept non-white immigrants have brought Eastern Europeans closer together and imbued them with a sense of common destiny. They are increasingly aware that more than just the future of their countries is at stake; what is at stake is the future of European civilization, the future of white race. There is an emerging awareness that by opposing non-white immigration, they are also contributing to the salvation of Europe and the white race.

All in all, in present-day Europe, Eastern Europeans possess the healthiest instincts and the soundest understanding regarding the race problem, the Russian threat, and the dangers of American, NATO, and EU hegemony.
Eastern Europeans look towards the West as something to emulate. They are attracted to its high living standards and rule of law, all of which they regard (and correctly so) as essentially manifestations of whiteness. For the most part, their attraction to liberalism and democracy is not rooted in degeneracy, as sadly misunderstood by many western nationalists. Instead, they regard liberalism and democracy as essentially white-European values. By adopting liberalism, they see themselves as spiritually joining their white cousins in the West.
Until now, Eastern Europeans have been mostly unaware that their western cousins have in fact lost confidence in themselves, in their history, and in their culture and have succumbed to degeneracy. The East is far healthier than the West, racially and culturally. Therefore, the time has come for Eastern Europeans to cease trying to emulate the West and abandon their currently subordinate attitude towards it. Instead it is high time for Eastern Europeans to assume the leading role and teach the West.
This change of attitude is essential and is already occurring. However, it is not enough by itself. This new attitude will only become effective if it becomes the animating principle of a new political power bloc. Eastern Europe must come together and form a formidable political entity, an alternative to both Euroasiatic Russia and the Atlanticist West. Thus I propose the revival of the idea of a Baltic-Black Sea Union, or “Intermarium,” as originally put forward by Polish leader Józef Piłsudski. Ideally, the Intermarium bloc should encompass the following nations, roughly from North to South:
- Estonia (population 1.3 million)
- Latvia (2.3 million)
- Lithuania (3.6 million)
- Belarus (10.3 million)
- Poland (38.6 million)
- Ukraine (45 million)
- The Czech Republic (10.6 million)
- Slovakia (5.4 million)
- Hungary (10 million)
- Romania (19 million)
- Moldova (4.4 million)
- Slovenia (2 million)
- Croatia (4.5 million)
- Serbia (7.5 million)
- Bosnia (3.9 million)
- Montenegro (600,000)
- Bulgaria (7.6 million)
- Macedonia (2 million)
With a total population of 178 million mostly European people (compared to Russian’s population of 143 million, many of whom are non-European), Intermarium could be enormously powerful and largely self-sufficient, given proper investment in infrastructure and armaments. This would effectively eliminate Eastern Europe’s dependence upon U.S. and Western Europe for security. Intermarium would be able to pursue its own independent policy, both internally and externally. It would be a genuine geopolitical counterweight to both Russia and the West.
Having consolidated its power and attained its security, Intermarium would inevitably gain many supporters and sympathizers, both in the West and in Russia. There are already many Russian dissidents immigrating to Ukraine. There are even many Russian nationalists fighting on the Ukrainian side. Western nationalists, many of whom are still deluded about Russia, will finally understand that the greatest hope for white revival and salvation of Europe lies not in Russia, but in Eastern Europe. They will not have to grovel towards Russia anymore and will not have to convince themselves, through strenuous mental gymnastics, that Putin, who jails true Russian nationalists, outlaws World War II revisionism and “Nazi propaganda,” reveres the Soviet past, and condemns “racism” and “Nazism” at every opportunity, is somehow our “secret friend.” A united Eastern Europe, however, will not be our “secret” friend; it will be our real friend. Unlike most Russians, who actually gloat over Europe being swarmed by non-white invaders, Eastern Europeans truly empathize with the struggle of their western cousins.
Apart from gaining many sympathizers outside of its territories, Intermarium will also act as a magnet for all those possessing a white racial consciousness and European identity. One can foresee a change in immigration patterns. More and more westerners, and also Russians, will opt for settling in Intermarium. They will actually be the real refugees, fleeing their increasingly chaotic, corrupt, multi-racial, and anti-white societies, bringing their valuable skills and expertise to Eastern Europe. This will give further boost to Intermarium’s technological, economic, and political development, increasing its clout in international relations and thereby accelerating the spread of pro-white ideas from its territory throughout the entire white world.
A Baltic-Black Sea Union can take different forms. It can be a centralized entity or a loose confederation, with different gradations between these two options possible. Needless to say, it will not be limited to current EU member states, but will include Ukraine and Belarus as important integral parts – heirs to the ancient Kievan Rus.
Intermarium should also be open to accepting Western European countries. One can already foresee that western countries with strong nationalist movements – e.g., Austria, Denmark, and Finland — might wish to join this union. It would also be ironic (but by no means unrealistic) if the former eastern German states would choose to secede from Germany and join Intermarium as well.
The greatest danger to Intermarium are the simmering ethnic conflicts throughout Eastern Europe. There are Polish minorities in Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine. There are Lithuanians in Poland. There are Hungarians in Slovakia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Romania. And so forth. An Intermarium united by a vision of a common destiny and struggle could provide a framework to settle these problems.
Eastern Europeans should remember that the main reason for the collapse of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was contention between different parts of nobility and skirmishes between different nationalities populating that political union. Whereas the peoples of Poland, Lithuania, and the ancient Kievan Rus wallowed in destructive infighting, the main enemy, Russia, assaulted them as a strongly consolidated power, eventually subduing them all. The mistakes of the past should not be repeated.
Eastern Europe has long been the object of history, a plaything of extra-European powers. Eastern Europe needs to recognize that it is racially and culturally the healthiest part of Europe. Therefore, it should lead, not follow. It must cease being the object and finally become the subject of history, thereby becoming the harbinger of a bright future for the whole white race. The Intermarium bloc, the Baltic-Black Sea Union, is the only effective way to achieve this.

The Russian threat is the real driving force for NATO and EU expansion into the East, with all the negative baggage that entails. Intermarium would address the security threat from the East, without saddling Eastern and Central Europe with the dictates of Brussels and Washington. It would be a truly European geopolitical counterweight to the Eurasian and Atlanticist blocs. It might actually serve as the focal point of a Europe that can reorganize itself around European interests, without American cultural distortion.
Without Nuclear Weapons no block could truly claim to be independent and sustainable. You need a M.A.D option, without it you wold just end up a pawn of those who have it.
I have similar enthusiasm for Eastern Europe’s defiance, and I applaud the intellectual activity of the theory, but I can’t applaud the alienation where Russia is concerned.
Russia is a treasure chest of Aryan culture, and the Jews want to steal it through the Ukraine. I hope we might therefore address our Russia-related concerns with a little more tact.

I see others have responded as I would have, so I’ll just add that we’re all, Russians included, battling internationalist Jewry (and Masonry, if it’s worth mentioning anymore), with or without Putin’s surreptitious collusion. His policies have evidently turned Russia back toward a replacement level birthrate. That’s more fundamental even than geopolitics. Fangirl shrieking, lol? No. But I surely give him a tip of the hat.

The main Russian media channels (directed West) like RT etc. are anything but pro-White, yes they do report some truth, but their sentiments are very reactionary they tend to support non-White immigration into Europe(even though they do show some refugee bad behavior), they absolutely glorify the Soviet times white wash Stalin and the Bolsheviks.. so they are simply the enemy of our enemy at best and in no way should be viewed as friends. And Putin’s relationship with the Khazars is very ambiguous at best, he tends to pander to them a lot in his speeches.

Bosnia is 45% Muslim, most of them nominal Muslims. I would be shocked if there are significant numbers of Islamists. But point taken.

A lot of LARPing going on here, especially about this fantasy of a Russian threat and also the fantasy that a “Ukrainian revolution” occurred. The coup in Ukraine was an American (Jewish) operation and also fundamentally anti-Ukrainian, as we are seeing. If it was a Ukrainian revolution, why is the internationalist government in control of Ukraine bringing in so many foreigners to help rule the country? This fairy-tale view of the US state Department’s Ukrainian fiasco can only be maintained by systematically ignoring the reality of what actually happened there and what is still happening.

The only way to resolve it is to separate the belligerent parties. Thank you, finally some good sense on this matter. A person is on our side when they are – gasp! surprise! – actually on our side, as demonstrated by both word and action. Actually, I think you are LARPing off the edge, given that Istanbul is a city of 14 million Turks who would not vacate easily.
During the Balkan wars, Constantinople was a much smaller city and I am told was overwhelmingly Greek. It might have worked then. But not today.
Ha, I used to play with similiar ideas. Neo-Byzantium Empire would protect Europa from the East, as it did for 1000 years. I could write volumes just describing its structure, society, military and economy, but then I realize it’s all just a fantasy. Based on the mistakes of original Byzantium which eventually brought it down, new, updated one would expand, retrieve it’s glorious past territories and rule for another 1000 years, when I hope Kali yuga will finally end. This of course includes Byzant/Constantinople, meaning Turkey is out and back where it came from.
Regarding Intermarium, I think it’s a great idea although I’ve seen many sceptic comments, mostly coming from individuals discussing the problems of certain ethnic relations within this federation – ”Croatia and Serbia together? Romania and Hungary? No way!” As much as I understand their reaction, risking to sound too cheesy and liberal, I think it’s time to overcome our differences and work together towards the creation of a safe, new Europe for our children and countryman. Only united Europe could achieve this. But for western Europe to become truly united again – organically and spiritually, chimeric creation called EU must fall, shocking event marking most likely a beginning of a new mini ”dark age” – period of short turmoil and general confusion among ex-EU countries, necessary for their recycling and cleansing from parasites. Alliances and unions, kingdoms and empires, of true European nature are not welcome but needed, as well as the reawakening of European nobility and aristocracy, primarily because enemy of Europe grew both in numbers and strength. I even had some other interesting ideas, but they included vast, beautiful and fertile Russian landscapes, basically unpopulated, where selected groups of Europeans could migrate, build towns and work on land, breeding new healthy and strong populations of neo-Aryan stock. Kind of a ”Archeofuturism meets Evola” thing. This would, of course, suppose that Russia is led by a person willing to accept such a plan.
I dont know if I’m allowed to “spam’ this article with some thoughts I have about changing our idea of morality which as I like to say, in my humble view is the source of all our political problems….
The pagan Celto-Germanic peoples had no notion of morality as we understand it today, they had only agreed-upon-customs which kept society together, even if you committed murder or broke a taboo it was very unlikely they would kill you they would simply ostracize you from their society and this to me demonstrates that they made no intrinsic moral or religious judgments about the act, they simply (for practical reasons) realized you were not trustworthy and thus not useful anymore in their society.
With time I came to believe that the greatest evil ever created by humans is the idea of morality. In order to be loving and cooperative toward the people who are good for us we only need rationality and some emotional intelligence but when we invoke morality we open Pandora’s box. I think all kinds of addictive, self-destructive, pathological and degenerate behaviors arise ultimately from irrational morality having supplanted fore-handedness and practicality. (by the way materialism is not even close to being rational or successful at all, we are emotional creatures and intelligently directed our emotions can be very empowering)
Our souls deep inside know that the only thing worthy is the achieving of freedom, beauty and empowerment and when we are distracted from that by ignorance and ideological, religious, moral or accidental reasons, frustration, fear and suffering kick in.
Some people might ask what about love?, This is the kind of word which can mean nothing and everything, for me in order to qualify as such, love has to encompass those three things, freedom (to be yourself among people you can trust), empowerment (derived by achievement in cooperation with those peoples) and beauty (which inspires the senses and inspires respect for life).
Morality is just a distraction from that……..we have to be more intelligent than that (by the way promoting slavery and genocide is not intelligent or practical so I wonder if the latter was actually committed by an otherwise intelligent leader)

Having the truth on our side is not enough, important is also to lure and know how to engage people. Besides of having an established set of values, a movement in order to be successful needs of the different sensibilities, skills and points of view from different kinds of personalities….Hitler would have shunned such an unwelcoming attitude toward young White Nationalists, no wonder why the movement is still so tiny and doesn’t attract much people of my age which are the only ones capable of carrying it over into the future.

Funny, I have been thinking about something like that. I am not sure it will happen, but it might indeed be the last shot at European survival remaining. It might be an issue to get over all the petty nationalisms. But… Putin’s eurasian neo-sovietism to the East, leftard-libtard insanity and nascent Eurabia to the West. And the tsunamigration. If this won’t galvanize something and soon, then maybe nothing will. An idea like this would have powerful enemies though, including Putin, as it would steal his thunder: Putin justifies his eurasian, anti-white policy by purporting to be the only alternative to the ‘decadent and dying out West’. Also, ideologically this project would probably have its roots in, among other things, “revision of WW2 and its results”, something Putin and the likes of him also hate and struggle to prevent.

As somebody who was born in Eastern Europe I can tell you this is never ever going to fly, there is a lot of animosity and rivalry between the Slavs and everybody is only out there for their own petty little interests with absolutely no long term perspective. And there are no leaders who would or could unite the Slavs.. the only way this could ever happen would be through military conquest.
It’s a good idea but in practice impossible.
Well, right now Hungary and Slovakia are members of V4, NATO, and the EU. Poland and Lithuania are members of the EU and NATO. If their petty divisions do not make that impossible, why would they make Intermarium impossible?
Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria seem to be cooperating to resist the “refugee” invasion and the E.U.’s attempt to force refugee quotas onto the nations of East Europe.
What you both are saying is correct but does not change the overall situation, EU and NATO are not Slavic the immigrant issue happens to be one of the very few things that unites Slavs because of their inherent Xenophobia, I am not completely ruling out any kind of cooperation between the Slavic states but for them to create a Power-Block of countries that could independently go head to head against both the West and the East(Russia) is inconceivable for me, they would very quickly get bogged down in “who what where” petty details and could never form a coherent Big Picture strategy, but that’s just my 2 cents.

According to the Russian Primary Chronicle, Novgorod was the first city founded by the House of Rurik, before Kiev. It is an incontestable fact that large parts of European Russia were part of Kievan Rus. Russia is every bit as much an heir of Kievan Rus as Ukraine and Belarus are.
“The Russian Threat” sounds even more bizarre. Russia is a poor, weak, declining country. Turkey alone, or Poland alone, could probably defeat Russia in a conventional war. The real danger is Russian weakness and decline, which could lead to the Chinese or Muslims gaining control over Russia’s vast territory, resources and nuclear arsenal.
Any East European union would need the participation of the Hungarians, the spiritually healthiest people of East Europe, and the Hungarians have no enthusiasm for waging war against Russia to help Ukraine regain Crimea. Serbia would likewise not be interested in subjugating the Russian majority in the Crimea to the dominance of the Islamist Crimean Tatars, given Russia’s historical role assisting the liberation of Serbia from Ottoman dominance and diplomatically supporting Serbia against Nato aggression.
Russian intervention in Syria helped prevent the collapse of Assad’s government, an ISIS/al-Qaeda takeover, and hence a pretext for another wave of “refugees”. If the Hungarians have done the most to protect Europe from this “refugee” invasion, the Russians have done the 2nd most.
Croatia’s attempt to help the “refugees” circumvent Hungary’s border fence was atrocious, as was their ethnic cleansing of Serbs, in conjunction with Nato, during the 1990s. Why would they be any more likely to join the proposed union than Germany or Sweden?
Also, if Western European countries are encouraged to join the union after nationalists take control and end non-White immigration, why wouldn’t Russia and America be invited to do the same?

I think any white country with a dominant white nationalist ideology should be welcome to join, even outside of Europe’s geographic borders. Certainly, a racially re-awakened, white America will be welcome to join. Russians clearly have much more work to do and have to change more drastically, if they are willing to change at all. But if hypothetically white nationalism one day triumphs in Russia, they will also be welcome to join. Intermarium will serve as a core, as a starting point, around which more and more whites throughout the world could unite.

Amazing! Good sense! In the “movement!” Who would have thought we would live to see the day? Thank you sir for some plain talk. Enough of this breathless fangirl shrieking about Putin. And the same has to apply to Orban and Trump as well.
I don’t know how history is taught in the Balkans, for example but I’ wonder if they are more aware of the Moslem threat, due to the fact that the Balkans received much of the brunt of the Islamic invasions, which is probably one reason they failed to keep up with Western Europe. Their are many educated people in those nations, despite the fact that some people disagree. It would be interesting to know the details of the dynamics occurring in the Balkans, where this so -called refuge problem is concerned.
As a Balkans mongrel (Serb, Greek, Vlach) think I can answer some of these questions. In general, people are acutely aware of the muslim factor. I can’t think of anyone I’ve met over the years who has given me the impression that he overlooks islamic identity. That’s not to say people are universally hostile to islam – certainly they are not – but no one pretends that islamic identity is meaningless and can be completely disregarded. So for example, there are (small numbers of) muslim ethnic Serbs, muslim ethnic Bulgarians, muslim Macedonians, and although they’re generally treated as fellow coethnics – and desire to be treated as such themselves – most people attach an asterisk next to them. This especially the case in Serbia, where muslim Serbs are generally regarded as Bosniaks, and are treated with quite some suspicion.
Feelings towards non-ethnic muslims are generally much colder. Turks in Greece are mostly reviled, and until rather recently every Greek was raised to believe that the Turk is his natural, ancestral enemy; and even leftish ethnic peacemakers understand and accept these feelings as legitimate (ie totally unlike white leftist attitudes towards white ‘racism’ against blacks). Turks in Bulgaria have been officially treated worse than Turks in Greece (or so I’d argue), but I’m not sure the animosity among the people is as great as it is in Greece (though I admit could be completely wrong about this). Turks in Macedonia, on the other hand, are reasonably well-liked. The chances of a Macedonian having a ‘good friend’ who is Turkish are vastly higher than in Greece or Bulgaria, and I’ve witnessed numerous such friendships during my stays there.
I don’t know much about Turks in Serbia (of whom there are very few anyway). There the great anti-muslim animosity is towards Bosniaks and, even more so, Albanians. In both of these cases the animosity is ethnic more than it is religious, but no Serb turns down the opportunity to hate them all the harder for their religious identity. It’s a similar story in Macedonia, though an additional factor driving the hatred there is a widespread fear of being ‘Kosovized’ through higher Albanian fertility. Most Macedonians have harbored very warm feelings towards Serbs ever since the Tito era (but assuredly not before that), and sharing a common enemy in the form of Albanians has driven them even closer. One should never fear overestimating the hatred the average Joe in either of these countries has for Albanians. And yet… and yet… I think at least in the case of Macedonia a corner has been turned, and relations with Albanians are on the mend in a way that cannot be said of Serbia.
Regarding Bosnia, I’m sure that I don’t need to add much to what people saw play out in the 90s. I think it’s only important to mention that one should not form the impression that these hatreds were near boiling point all throughout the Yugoslav period, with only the authoritarianism of the communist party managing to keep a lid on things. Going by my own experience, a great many people I know were taken completely by surprise by the Bosnian War. In their view, relations between the groups were solid enough that they would not have predicted such a thing could ever occur (all the same, they were not slow to take sides when the shooting started).
Thank you very much Verlis. The problems are very complex, as you so excellently showed. My own Grandmother was born in Croatia but she was an ethnic German. It’s strange how things turn out. She was driven out of Croatia as an ethnic German and my grandfather perished somewhere when partisans took him away from their farm, even though she and my grandfather had no part in anything to do with Nazi activity,etc. That part of my family had a two hundred year plus history on that land, having originally been given it by the Hapsburg Monarchy, since it was a crown territory before the end of WW I. My my grandmother actually continued to buy Croatian muscial recordings and prayed from a Croatian prayer book until she died. Some of the things you wrote actually answered some of the deeper questions I had been wondering about and again I thank you for that. The only thing that survived the war that belonged to my grandmother, was that prayer book when on being taken to Austria, they were stopped by a Russian unit, who demanded their suitcases. When my 15 year old father refused to give them their belongings, a Russian soldier pointed a rifle at him and my grandmother begged my dad to let them have it, to let them take it all. Since my dad could speak both German and Croatian, he understood the Russians and they at least let them keep a few things. Life is bizarre and human beings probably are best off, when they stay with those that are closest to them. At least that seems to be how most of the world behaves.
I wish that Eastern Europeans could be in control of immigration to Western European nations.
Poland will be a major problem. Poland has the most slavishly pro-American government in the east.
They are pro-American because of the security threat from Russia. Intermarium bloc will void that necessity. That’s what it is about.
It could be a confederation allowing much autonomy to the individual states. I like this idea. Would all white people have a right to return? Would the Jewish question arise or be ignored?

I expect the oligarch/foreign owned media in Eastern Europe will attempt to fuel aminosity between the different peoples to keep them from working together.
That said I think we should not be too surprised if the historical aminosity to be overcome quickly. The generation of people who were born in the 1980’s and 1990’s have grown up with information at their fingertips due to the emergence of the Internet. I think with the availability of information and communicating that people’s perspectives will broaden away from their own Nations but to view the world at large. Historical divisions over small bits of land will become neglible.
This is not to diminish Nationalism but that I believe the younger generation will be supportive of a kind of International Patriotism against Liberallism. American based Counter Currents cares about Patriots in Poland, the Latvian Patriots care about the Swedish Patriots (as shown above) etc.
This is a genius idea. With Romania and Ukraine the bloc can be more than self-sufficient.
Mr. Durand, first, let me say that I believe you’ve done some much needed work refuting the misunderstandings and, most likely, the deliberately spread disinformation on Putin and Russia that circulates on the English-language right. You also appear to have substantial knowledge of this subject matter. I’m sure you’ve studied it in far greater detail than me.
However, there is definitely something seriously wrong with the Polish government. All the indicators of significant US and Jewish influence are there.
For example, Poland made an early commitment to supporting the Jewish-US-led war on Iraq in 2003, and Poland hosted American CIA “black sites.”
By joining NATO years ago, Poland is directly responsible for helping extend US hegemony over the Europe. In point of fact, Poland facilitated a huge expansion of American-Jewish military power over the European east.
So the question in my mind is how does one untangle the cause and effect here? Is Poland responding to Russia, or is Russia responding to Poland’s alliance with America and Jewry? The available evidence that I see strongly points to the latter.
I want to point out also that I’m not getting to this conclusion based on Russian disinformation and propaganda. My conclusion here is largely in line with American critics of US expansionist policy toward Russia like Kennan and Mearsheimar.
Foreign policy realists like Kennan and Mearsheimer promote a foreign policy line that puts American interests first. As realists concerned with the balance of power, their views leave little room for moral considerations. From their point of view, tossing Poland to the wolves is perfectly rational. That’s all well and good as far as realist foreign policy analysis goes, but it’s a poor basis on which to pass judgement on Polish foreign policy behavior.
Viewing Poland’s position through Polish eyes, one sees a land which had been occupied and exploited by the power to its east for the last couple hundred years. From this perspective it is hardly surprising that a deeply resentful Polish populace would be alarmed by Soviet nostalgists in Moscow and determine that the best way to safeguard its sovereignty is to forge closer ties with Russia’s main geopolitical antagonist.
While it’s difficult to fault this behavior on state-centric grounds, there are, as your comment notes, other considerations besides state sovereignty – namely, augmenting anti-white influence in the region. Such considerations, of course, do not even rate as an afterthought in today’s culture. That is why metapolitics is so important, because under a different set of ground rules such considerations would be primary. Faulting the Polish government for its policies at a time when such ground rules do not apply is, to a very large degree, putting the car before the horse.
Excellent proposal! I very much hope that something like this plan is implemented in the near future, for the sake of all of us in Western Europe the sooner the better!
