I find Gould’s playing too mannered and idiosyncratic. Hewitt really is my favorite Bach pianist, infinitely superior to the colorless, boring Andras Schiff.
Wow, she completely evaded by Jewdar: her looks, her manner, and the fact that she lives with wolves and is passionate about their conservation led me to think she is an exceptionally admirable and attractive European woman.

Had heard of this piano player, but never actually heard her play. A lucid and powerful performance.
This was lovely. However, no one can play Bach like Glenn Gould. (also a Canadian)
