Three dissident Right philosophers discussed Greg Johnson‘s book The Trial of Socrates during the second meeting of the Counter-Currents Book Club: F. Roger Devlin (author of Sexual Utopia in Power), Mike Maxwell of Imperium Press, and the author himself. All of the participants have an academic background in philosophy. The trial of Socrates is a pivotal event in world history. Before Socrates, philosophy had put society on trial. Now society was striking back. Mike Maxwell z nakladatelství Imperium Press přišel na substackovém účtu Imperium Press s dobře promyšleným protiargumentem mých postojů k válce na Ukrajině. Bílí nacionalisté by podle něj měli podporovat ruský vpád na Ukrajinu, jelikož Ukrajince podporují Spojené státy i drtivá většina členských zemí NATO, porážka Ukrajinců tudíž znamená porážku i pro naše vlády, což usnadní činnosti disentu. Mike Maxwell has posed some questions to me on sovereignty and international order on the Imperium Press Substack.

Ethnonationalists envision a world of sovereign homelands for all distinct peoples who aspire to autonomy. Thus we are opposed to multinational empires as well as global government schemes, all of which involve the denial of sovereignty to particular peoples or, in the case of global governance, to all peoples. Mike Maxwell of Imperium Press has written a thoughtful response to my position on the Ukraine War on the Imperium Press Substack account. Maxwell thinks that it is appropriate for White Nationalists to support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine because the Ukrainians are being supported by the United States and most other NATO members, so a defeat for Ukraine will be a defeat for our own governments, which will make our own work as dissidents easier.
