There has been a Mr. Bond-shaped hole in the National Socialist rap scene ever since ZOG sent the Austrian troubadour up the river for the crime of being a genius. But fear not, for I see from perusing the still-active Mr. Bond fan pages that the white race is continuing to produce lyrical machete-men vying to become Mr. Hassler’s successor as the King of White Nationalist rap. No-Face Nate, a rapper associated with the Will 2 Rise movement, is one such contender.
Another National Socialist rapper who has been making waves is Mystic, a 22-year-old Scot from Edinburgh who divides his time being making pro-white hip hop and real-life activism with Highland Division Scotland, a White Nationalist group that broke off from Patriotic Alternative.
One of Mystic’s most endearing qualities is his unabashed Scottishness, as he raps in a thick Celtic accent that makes his music sound like something akin to Straight Outta Compton meets Trainspotting. I reached out to Mystic to talk about his music, activism, Scottish football culture, and his dealings with the United Kingdom’s speech police.
We’ll start with an old perennial for the first question. What is your red-pill story? What were your politics before you became a National Socialist?
My awakening was very gradual and very sudden at the same time. For as long as I can remember, my thinking had always been very naturalistic/authoritarian. I believe this is the result of my childhood being centered upon constant physical competition in the form of sports (football and athletics), which internalized the concepts of natural law and Darwinistic principles from a young age. I have a theory that males who got either consistently dominated in physical competition, or else completely avoided physical competition altogether are the kinds of men who become liberals due to a spiteful rejection of nature, reality, and natural hierarchy.
This naturalistic way of thinking was always present in my adolescence, but of course I wasn’t always racially and politically aware as I am now. It was essentially feminism and what I now know to be Cultural Marxism that shaped my political views from the age of 17 onward. I was repulsed on a primal level by radical feminism’s subversive tendencies. I quickly became a fan of Jordan Peterson and the kosher Right-wing content creators on YouTube. Then the Black Lives Matter riots kicked off and I quickly realized the political motivation behind the movement, and was instinctively of the opinion that racism is a tribal human mechanism that will always be a reality in diverse societies and that we shouldn’t obsess over it. So I guess I’ve always been a realist in the sense of race. It was an interesting reaction to have when everyone else was posting black squares on social media and trying to convince themselves that they were not racist.
Then COVID-19 hit and my uncle red-pilled me on the truth about it. From here I went down the rabbit hole and eventually came across Europa: The Last Battle and Holocaust revisionism, and I was basically fully convinced overnight. But prior to this, my Darwinistic and Right-wing personality had always been part of my philosophy.
You started making pro-white rap within the last year. Did you have any musical experience before you started this project, or did you take up rap for the specific purpose of making pro-white music?
I remember listening to the rapper G-Eazy when I was 10 years old and memorized all his lyrics, never knowing I would one day be making music. I was obviously drawn to him because he was the “cool white guy” and wanted to replicate him so that I could feel that white people weren’t just old, irrelevant rednecks who people cringed at.
Like many young men in today’s anti-white society, I felt like I had to model myself on guys like G-Eazy because the anti-white culture made me feel like it was lame to be white, as they only promote primitive non-white icons who they expect white boys to follow. But I always sided with my own race, hence the rapper G-Eazy.
So, for all the ridged White Nationalists out there, I hope you understand that country music and NSDAP anthems aren’t going to appeal to young white men, and this is the reason why I make “anti-white” music.
Do you also compose the music for your songs?
No, I use royalty-free beats that range from upbeat to dark and aggressive, depending on the lyrical content of the song itself.
Who are your musical influences?
G-Eazy, Eminem, Locksmith, Immortal Technique, and Lowkey (even though some of them are ideologically opposed to me).
Who are your political influences?
Jonathan Bowden, Kai Murros, Thomas Sewell, and Edward Dutton.
A lot of your songs are about the real-world activism you do with your group, Highland Division Scotland. What can you tell us about the Highland Division? How old is the group? How did it come together? What do you stand for?
Highland Division formed around six months ago, when a few of us had been “kicked out” of Patriotic Alternative over disagreements on “optics.” We then decided to form our own group, which is leaderless, holds no single political belief, is not an organization, and is mainly focused on activism. We stand for Scotland for the Scottish.
You were raided by the police last December and charged with incitement of racial hatred. What was that experience like? Were you raided for your music or for your activism?
Yes, as I explain in this video, Counter Terrorism came to my house at six in the morning with forensics that seized my devices. They took me in to interrogate me (to which I gave a “no comment” answer to every question they threw at me), asking about my music and my involvement with Highland Division and its members. I was released on the bail condition that I was not to attempt any form of communication with two other Highland Division members.
Since then, I have been arrested again for breach of bail, released (my prior bail conditions were no longer active), and then been given a court date at which I was ordered to pay a fine of *x for x days/year*, but I haven’t been given any updates regarding the original charge of incitement to racial hatred (along with breach of the peace).
You are from Glasgow, which is home to one of the most infamous football rivalries in the world: Glasgow Celtic versus Glasgow Rangers.
What has made the Old Firm rivalry such a sociological curiosity is that throughout most of Europe, what club you support is usually determined by one’s class and sometimes political persuasion. But the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers has all sorts of complex ethnic, political, cultural, class, and even religious dimensions. Celtic are “the Catholic club,” whose fans are often working-class ethnic Irish and are pro-Republican, while the Rangers are “the Protestant club” whose fans are mostly middle-class native Scots who are pro-British and Unionist. The Rangers famously did not sign their first Catholic player until 1989, and apparently a similar dynamic exists between Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh.
I can’t imagine such a football culture being very helpful for building pro-white solidarity. How much of an obstacle do you consider Scotland’s distinct football culture to be in bringing whites together?
It certainly doesn’t help with regards to our people uniting, but just as history has proven, petty, internal conflict will be overcome, or at least disregarded when we are faced with a common external threat such as we are facing right now. However, I will say that I’ve never seen an openly Marxist Rangers supporter. There are many on the Celtic side, but they are a minority, as most fans don’t heavily relate to the tensions of the past and don’t tend to inject politics into the rivalry anymore.
Is Catholic/Protestant antipathy still a relevant force in Glasgow, or is it more of a thing among the older generations?
That is an interesting question. I actually grew up supporting Glasgow Celtic, as my father’s side of the family are all very proud Celtic supporters, and this influenced me to follow suit from a young age. Although I was never raised to hold any hatred or animosity towards Rangers supporters or Protestants, and my family never felt the need to educate me about this deep-seeded rivalry. I suppose that has something to do with my father becoming disillusioned with Catholicism and disregarding the religious element behind the rivalry, while still identifying with Celtic over the years. My father was raised Catholic by his parents, but from recent conversations with them, it seems that they were never particularly religious and rather viewed their Catholic roots as merely a cultural identity as opposed to them being genuine believers in Christianity.
This brings me to my views on the religious and cultural divide. From my experience observing the Catholic/Protestant divide combined with the football rivalry, the religious element behind the tension isn’t as much a factor as it used to be. The vast majority of those involved on both sides are not actually Catholic or Protestant, and won’t ever be seen in a church on Sunday. Just as in America and elsewhere, the religious divide is now a cultural divide, with people using this division as a vessel to cling on to their perceived identity. The tensions still loom beneath the surface, but it’s something I’ve never subscribed to, even more so now that I’m an ethno-nationalist. Many of the Rangers fans fly the Union Jack, yet don’t even appreciate the history of the British Empire that used the Union Jack. Many Celtic fans fly the flag of Ireland, yet don’t identity as Irish, which sums it up for me.
Both Unionist Orangemen and pro-Irish Republicans hold annual parades throughout Glasgow. These parades have been the subject of much controversy and debate in recent years. What is your position on them?
I’ll put it this way: If grooming gangs attempted to set up operations in the Loyalist communities in Northern Ireland or Scotland, they would be very sorry for attempting to do so. There’s rumors that this actually happened in Northern Ireland, which resulted in the gangs being visited by Loyalists who informed them of what would happen if they attempted to bring this to Northern Ireland. Similar incidents occurred in the Irish Republican communities, where a member of the public informed hostile immigrants to “be careful,” if you catch my drift. I respect those on both sides who remain loyal to their identity, and regardless of ideology, they have retained a sense of community, identity, and pride which has been lost in so many of our people.

Speaking to the form of the music only, since through the media we are all Americans now, I guess it can’t be helped.
The good news is that the form speaks to something in the Nordic soul:
“The inferior man exercises a tremendous pull upon civilized beings who are forced to live with him, because he fascinates the inferior layers of our psyche, which has lived through untold ages of similar conditions. On revient toujours ses premiers amours. To our subconscious mind contact with primitives recalls not only our childhood, but also our prehistory; and with the Germanic races this means a harking back of only about twelve hundred years. The barbarous man in us is still wonderfully strong and he easily yields to the lure of his youthful memories. Therefore he needs very definite defenses. The Latin peoples, being older, don’t need to be so much on their guard; hence their attitude toward the Negro is different from that of the Nordics.
But the defenses of the Germanic man reach only as far as consciousness reaches. Below the threshold of consciousness the contagion meets little resistance. Since the Negro lives within your cities and even within your houses, he also lives within your skin, subconsciously. Naturally it works both ways.
Just as every Jew has a Christ complex, so every Negro has a white complex, and every white American a Negro complex. The Negro, generally speaking, would give anything to change his skin; so, too, the white man hates to admit that he has been touched by the black.”

Interesting article and good luck to the guy. I hope plod ease off and he gets off from any future hassle. The religious divide is a bind for us and it does hamper things. I don’t know how this can be resolved because we are talking about centuries of history and animosity. I’ve mentioned this before. It’s also complicated by the fact that many celtic supporters vote for the nationalist SNP which most Rangers supporters detest.
An additional note about our history as a Rangers supporter – it’s often stated that Mo Johnston was the first catholic signed by us. Pat Lafferty was signed by Rangers in 1886. Two years before that lot even existed.
BBC Scotland retract incorrect Rangers Maurice Johnston comments (rangersnews.uk)
The lame BBC make the distinction and correction by labelling Johnston ‘first high profile catholic’ to save their blushes.
