The year 2016 has special significance in Dissident Right circles.
To a Dissident Rightist, “2016” is more than just a 365-day time span during which the most unlikely things were made real by the most unlikely of personalities. To us, “2016” is more than a moment in time and space. To the Dissident Rightist, the mere utterance of “2016” conjures up a collage of emotions and memories. (more…)
Nothing has given me more respect for the social media site Gab than watching other people try to do what Andrew Torba has done.
For many years, Gab was sort of a joke. Its reputation was as a cesspool of the Alt Right’s most socially dysfunctional elements — people who had not only been banned from every other social media site (back when getting banned required a lot more effort) but also from most White Nationalist message boards for being too spergy. On the Alleged Assassination Attempt on Baked Alaska
The Right-wing internet has been abuzz these last few days after the arrest of antifa terrorist Garrett James Smith, who was caught outside a Florida rally in support of January 6 prisoner Jeremy Brown. Because Baked Alaska was in attendance at this rally, people have been semi-ironically referring to the incident as the “failed assassination of Baked Alaska.”
Garrett Smith, an antifa activist, had moved back to Florida from Portland, where he was presumably radicalized, two months ago. (more…)
What Jack Murphy Teaches the Right about Sociopaths
Drama gets a bad rap in dissident circles. You always hear people say, “I’m not getting myself involved in drama,” as if drama is inherently a bad thing.
But I say drama can be a good thing. For one, it can be good for morale. Drama can be fun, and can thus liven the spirits. Beyond that, however, most of the time there is a moral to the story. (more…)
We’re Even More Jets Now: Spielberg’s West Side Story
“You know, I wake up to everything I know either getting sold, or wrecked, or being taken over by people that I don’t like. And they don’t like me. And you know what’s left of all that? The Jets.” — Riff
I finally got around to seeing Steven Spielberg’s new remake of West Side Story, or as I like to call it, Race Traitors in Love.
I must say that despite it being explicitly anti-racist — and by extension implicitly anti-white and Jewish — to the core, I have always had something of a soft spot for West Side Story. (more…)
Two wild stories came out of the Breadtube scene within a 12-hour period earlier this week. Perhaps both deserve their own article, but they happened at the same time, and they might be related. I’ll explain why at the end.
The first story occurred on Monday night, when Communist Breadtuber Vaush announced to the world that he was a federal informant. (more…)
“Ask not what you can do for the movement, but what the movement can do for you.” — Richard Spencer (paraphrased)
I think all of us Richard Spencer observers deduced long ago that the self-described ruler of the world has been pining for a rebrand. (more…)
Éric Zemmour has announced his candidacy for the presidency of France. The next great Dissident Right debate is upon us, and there is no way to win.
It basically comes down to this: If you support Zemmour, you can count on being called a “Jew lover” from now until eternity and expect to see your endorsements screenshotted into infinity. If you oppose Zemmour, you are going to look like the most petulant, stubbornly impractical purity-spiraler. (more…)
Be careful out there this week, guys: As the old saying goes, White Nationalists always die in threes. Or maybe I’m thinking of celebrities. I dunno. Either way, be careful, because over the weekend, news broke on social media about the passing of not one, but two Dissident Rightists. Both were deeply involved in the Alt Right circa 2017-2018, but had faded from public view in recent years. (more…)
In view of the spread of radical doctrine in our universities, the new photoplay at the Rivoli Theatre issues a symbolic warning to pacifist and liberal student organizations. If they persist in their unAmerican activities, Red Salute tells them, not only will Miss Barbara Stanwyck deny them her allegorical caresses but Mr. Robert Young will punch their noses. It is one of the weirdest exhibits to come out of Hollywood since that wartime masterpiece, The Beast of Berlin. With the subtlety of a steamroller and the satirical finesse of a lynch mob the film goes in for some of the most embarrassing chauvinism of the decade. (more…)
