There’s a scene in the 1981 film adaptation of Chaim Potok’s novel The Chosen in which our protagonists — two Jewish teenagers — run into a gang of young gentile toughs in 1940s New York. The gentile toughs proceed to beat the shit out of the two Jewish kids, all the while spewing anti-Jewish abuse. This scene left a lasting impression on me in my youth. How could people be so hateful and vicious? Why would anyone have a grudge against these kids? And what do they have against Jews anyway? Haven’t they been through enough already?
Up until that point in my life, what is known as anti-Semitism amounted to little more than the occasional TV documentary, our forced reading of The Diary of Anne Frank in school, and my Jewish friends cracking Jewish jokes and thinking they were clever. (Hey, you wanna know what’s so special about the new Jewish car? Not only does it stop on a dime, but it picks it up!)
(This was pre-Schindler’s List, and I was far too young to be watching movies like Sophie’s Choice or Marathon Man anyway.)
As the anti-Semitism depicted in The Chosen and similar media continued to intrude upon my life in my teenage years, I began to carry a proper loathing for it. I wanted to be the exact opposite of those punks depicted in The Chosen. So well indoctrinated was I that by the time I reached my mid-twenties, I was fully prepared to white knight for the Jews. Part of it was IQ-worship, but most of it was simply buying into the lugubrious school of Jewish history which was so well crafted in the many books and movies to which I had easy access.
But something about this anti-Semitism thing just did not add up for me — even back then. For a people that supposedly saw anti-Semitism as a great evil, they sure liked to talk about it a lot. It really animated them, and in some weird way seemed to raise their morale. I was conscious of anti-white racism as well, but whites seemed to consider the topic distasteful and preferred not to discuss it.
Not so with the Jews. I noticed this among my friends and acquaintances, on television, in newspapers, and, as the internet came into being, online. Boy, was it easy to find online. This contradiction didn’t really crystalize for me until I spent some time with an extremely conservative (and extremely old) Jewish professor. I told him about the Jewish Holocaust movie I had just seen, The Grey Zone, and he waved his hands at me in contempt. He did not want to discuss “another Holocaust movie” and dismissed Hollywood’s treatment of it as a racket. This was the first Jewish person I had met who felt this way. I didn’t understand why.
But I understand now. What’s known as “anti-Semitism” as explained to us by Jews is nothing more than a con. This of course does not mean that hatred and violence towards Jews do not exist. Of course they do. But to assert that anti-Semitism is some universal-yet-latent trait amongst gentiles or that Jews around the world should constantly be on the lookout for the next Hitler or that “anti-Semitism” can be a policy driver, fundraising tool, and political weapon all at the same time, in effect, rigs the game in the Jews’ favor. Indeed, when the anti-Semitism card is played, the Jews cannot lose.

When accused of anti-Semitism, the naïve victim can only produce an outcome favorable to Jewish interests. Either he changes his tune and begins acting the way the Jews want him to act, or he digs in his heels and cops to his anti-Semitism. This latter action benefits the Jews because it gives them a convenient enemy, and as Samuel Huntington pointed out in his classic The Clash of Civilizations, enemies are necessary to bind a people together. Here’s the quote:

In order to better understand anti-Semitism as a con, it would help to define it within this context. But this is hard to do, since anti-Semitism these days is more of a thoughtcrime than an actual crime. The con does not apply to obvious cases such as that of deranged mass murderer Robert Bowers, who in 2018 killed eleven people in a Pittsburgh synagogue. Such a person could never be coerced to act in Jewish interests and makes a pretty shabby enemy as he rots in prison. This means that whenever anti-Semitism is not a con (i.e., when it is one hundred percent true), it’s worth little as a political weapon for the Jews.
Instead, the con applies to cases that are not so clear-cut: people who could inspire the next Robert Bowers, but just haven’t done so yet. But how can you track down such people if they keep their anti-Semitism secret? How can you tell if someone is communicating their anti-Semitism in code? How do you know if someone is thinking anti-Semitic thoughts?
Well, first you infer, then you fearmonger, then you attack. If a well-known or prominent gentile otherwise behaves impeccably but still says anything critical or unflattering of Jews as a people, then one must infer that he harbors venomous hatred for them. If a person does this enough times, one must presume that he will sooner or later incite violence against Jews. There is no middle ground here. John Derbyshire once relayed how an older relative of his admitted to being only mildly anti-Semitic. In the eyes of many Jews, there is no such thing. A mild anti-Semite is merely a Jew-hater who has a sense of tact. Such a person would not lift a finger to help the poor defenseless Jews during the next pogrom.
So to prevent future pogroms, such a person must be smeared as an anti-Semite, ostracized, deplatformed, and, if possible, ruined. Of course, it does not matter if the victim is telling the truth or being perfectly rational and consistent. It doesn’t even matter if he means well. As I believe Joe Sobran once said, an anti-Semite used to be a person who hates Jews. Now it is a person the Jews hate.
This of course gives the Jewish elite tremendous power. And, as we all know, this is an easy power to abuse. All a prominent white gentile has to do is dispute key points of the Jewish Holocaust or be critical of the Israeli treatment of the Palestinians or in any other way annoy the emissaries of Jewish power, and he will be lumped in with Jew-hating mass murderers like Robert Bowers as an “anti-Semite” — a term which clearly has no specific meaning. This is an abomination of justice. However, this is not where the con lies. The con becomes clear once we realize not what anti-Semitism is but what it isn’t. So, I will challenge my vast readership with a simple question, a question that, if answered correctly, will expose the anti-Semitism con forever:
What is the opposite of anti-Semitism?

And the most virulent form of anti-gentilism today is. . . you guessed it. . . Anti-white racism!

Understanding the opposite of anti-Semitism equips its gentile victim with a much-needed third option. Before, he could only squirm and vacillate like a stool pigeon between renouncing or embracing his alleged anti-Semitism. Now, however, he can turn the tables on his accusers and accuse them of anti-Gentilism. Yes, the very act of accusing an innocent gentile of anti-Semitism is, in itself, an act of anti-Gentilism. What’s the ADL going to say to that? And this tactic gives us the triple whammy of taking the focus off the gentile, forcing his Jewish accusers on the defensive, and likely boring everyone else to death in the resulting tit-for-tat. Remember, indifference is your friend in the Cancel Culture era when your employer is deciding whether to take seriously that tasteless joke you tweeted back in 2009.
So now back to The Chosen. How does all this help my younger self break down that awful scene described above? How can it free us from the anti-Semitism con? By making us realize that depicting white gentiles as mindless thugs who assault Jewish kids for no reason is an act of anti-Gentilism itself.
Perhaps such attacks were not as common as the filmmakers made it seem? Better yet, maybe there were some legitimate reasons why white Americans would be angry with their Jewish minority back when the story takes place? This was the 1940s, during World War II. Thanks to my study of Benjamin Ginsburg’s How the Jews Defeated Hitler, I now realize that many Jewish groups had been highly influential in dragging the United States into this unpopular and unnecessary war. In other words, throughout the 1930s, the Jews war mongered, and over 400,000 Americans died as a result. These Jews included Felix Frankfurter and much of FDR’s cabinet, the Century Group, the Fight For Freedom Committee, the ADL, and Congressman Samuel Dickstein who harassed pro-German groups in America throughout the 1930s while being a paid informant for the NKVD. These were all extremely powerful men who stopped at nothing to drench Europe in its own blood.
Not to justify the violence depicted in the movie, but some anti-Jewish sentiment during the 1940s is now a little more understandable — and only a drop in the bucket compared to the violence of World War II. What’s less understandable however is omitting the perfectly sound reasons why white Americans would be frustrated with Jews back then, as the filmmakers of The Chosen dishonestly do. What were the odds that these gentile bullies had a father, sibling, or cousin who never came back from Normandy or Okinawa? What were the odds that one of them would be called up to become cannon fodder in the next war the Jews wish to prosecute? I would say pretty good on both counts. Meanwhile, what were the odds that these two Jewish kids would get out of serving altogether? In the story, neither serves in the military, although one of them helps run guns to Israeli forces during their 1948 war of independence — so that tells us something about their priorities.
It also tells us all we need to know about the anti-Semitism con.

My boomer father agree on little politically. In his defense, he doesn’t have a smart phone or internet and is thus cut off from the dissident right. His wife is a card carrying liberal and is probably the main source of his “news” of current events. He can’t stop bashing trump…
BUUUUUUUUUUUT….I was pleasantly surprised to hear him recently relate the following:
1. He hates how the Mexicans took over our home of Southern California
2. He went to “grammar school” with a bunch of jews and was bullied mercilessly. They ganged up on him whenever they could. Worst of all, they always hit him from behind. Once he started fighting back, they howled In pain…but thr bullying stopped.
Cowards.
I am astounded that most people still don’t understand how much of their world view is shaped by fiction be it the MSM ‘news’ or the films from Hollywood, TV series etc.
The author of this articles riposte to the ubiquitous anti- semitism charge by countering with an anti-gentilism is a very good one – I hope patriotic people everywhere use it.
PS – I would love to see a review of Neil Postman s book ‘Amusing ourselves to death’ on counter-currents. The author has a brilliant understanding of the effects of media on the public. The Jews have a mastery of finance and media which is likely the main reasons why our nations fates are being directed by them at this time in history.

Judaism is morally bankrupt; it has nothing to offer us but out-dated plagiarized myths, about some angry judgmental god that is remarkably exactly like the Jews themselves. In Chaim Potok’s defense. The book is mostly about fights within Judaism, between the zionists and anti zionists at the time. It’s not an Ann frank type book directed outwardly against gentiles.
True. But like all mainstream literature like this it ignores the atrocities committed by Jews in the USSR prior to WW2 and focuses only on Jewish victimization.

Your “anti-gentilism” is a poor replacement for Jason’s AntiWhiteism. The use of “anti-white racism” makes no sense, as “racism” is nothing but an AntiWhite slur, solely used against White people. And please stop calling us “gentiles” and “goyim”, it makes my skin crawl. Try Westernkind or White people instead.
But hey, thanks for acknowledging in a roundabout, ego driven way that NoWhiteGuilt’s lexicon is powerful and correct.

Jason Kohne is correct. No doubt. What we are discussing can also be called anti-Whiteism.
Please consider my use of anti-Gentilism in this context however. I believe that it is more effective as a rhetorical weapon than anti-Whiteism. Since most non whites in the political realm are also anti white, labeling our Jewish adversaries anti-white won’t hurt them much. If anything it will remind them of what they have in common with other non-whites and help bind our enemies together.
However, accusing these anti-white Jews of anti-Gentilism potentially isolates them from other non-whites since the smearing tactics they use against us could also be used against other non whites.
I hope this makes sense.
Yes, it does make sense, in this context. It’s kinda why I don’t use “anti-Semiticism” anymore because Jews aren’t the only Semites, and I sense they use that term to hide behind a wider group of people. I use anti-Jew or anti-Judaism. These days, I like being a bit more specific–to make them squirm!
On a related note, I don’t like to use the words gentile, goyim, non-Jew, etc. anymore because these words define us in Jewish terms. I find myself wanting to resist their worldview in every possible manner, and deny them the pleasure of insisting everything be filtered through Jewish values and Jewish eyes. I do not consider myself a “gentile.” Instead I’d say, I’m European (heritage Christian) and I’m American (again, heritage Christian).
I understand the rhetorical tactics of using certain terms and words, and in certain contexts that can work very well, but on the whole I am moving toward blunt, specific language. I want them to feel my positive self image. I love my people, my heritage, and I love who I am. And I am not gentile/non-Jewish, that is not who I am.

All the isms and all the phobias that infect our brains are cons. Beginning with the con of “racism”, which is nothing but an anti-White cudgel. And based on the mother-con: equality.
This piece really resonated with me. I likewise read and saw The Chosen in high school. I’ll put it this way, it was one of many things that catalyzed some pretty life changing things for me and just leave it at that…
It pains me greatly how many Jews have benefited from the US but for the most part have nothing but contempt and disdain for the people who founded the country who let them in to flee persecution. I highly doubt persecuted Jews would have wanted to flee to a nation still under control by warring Indian tribes.
The con you speak of we see at work with any criticism of Jewish money, like Soros, funding things that are anti-gentile/Christian culture. Any wealthy gentile’s money, like the Koch brothers, is fair game. Anyone deigning to comment about Soros funding DA races will get labeled an anti-Semite. We also saw this with the $GME short squeeze. The ADL retconned the narrative about the age old trope of Jewish financiers getting rich off market manipulation… which was exactly what was going on.
It’s a sort of defense mechanism I feel. Obviously the things liberal Jews advocate for are often polar opposites of what white gentiles want. Liberal Jews have a lot of political clout so by labeling anyone who deigns to point that out an anti-Semite it serves to obfuscate what’s really going on. A perfect example of this was Pat Buchanan flipping the script on I believe it was Kagan’s nomination to SCOTUS when he sardonically said, “three Jews on the court? How’s that for diversity?” Of course, Buchanan was counter-plugging (I got that term from your previous article, Mr. Quinn, and love it!), but then the ADL counter-counter-plugged by saying Kagan was brought on the court because of her qualifications (now all the sudden the ADL isn’t concerned about diversity but raw unadulterated meritocracy)… and of course they called Buchanan an anti-Semite for having the audacity to point out the, if my calculations are correct, 1566.66% over representation on the court.
I liked the heuristic you used with “anti-gentilism” but the thing is, it just doesn’t have the resonance that “anti-Semitism” has. Imagine telling Jonathan Greenblatt, “you’re activities stem from your biases, prejudices and hatred against white Christian gentiles,” and like the Nordic gamer meme, he’ll just say, “yes.”
Yes, but what would Greenblatt say if you accuse him of being anti-black or anti-Muslim or what have you? These people are gentiles too, no? Accusing a Jew of anti-Gentilism asserts that he has bias against non-Jews, regardless of whether they are white. This can damage the position of liberal diaspora Jews since they rely on alliances with gentiles other than whites.
He’d probably say you’re calling him anti-gentile is a timeless anti-Semitic trope about Jews harboring ill-will towards gentiles. As for alleging him being anti-black… perhaps that’s where the potential for “anti-gentilism” lies. You said it yourself, the most virulent form of this is in anti-whiteness, so who cares about that? But by lumping in other groups it adds to put them on the defense. “The ADL and Jews in general have always been on the side of black civil rights!” It’ll be an interesting debate tactic played out in the real world. Credit where credit is due, Richard Spencer made mincemeat of a reform rabbi telling him, “come, learn torah with me and I’ll teach you about inclusion.” To which Spencer responded, “how about inclusion and open borders for Israel.” The reform rabbi was speechless. So it’d be interesting to see how some prominent Jewish political operative would respond to allegations of anti-gentilism.
I read Postman’s book, and it was very enlightening, if you can ignore his repeated canards that the media is ‘right-wing’ and was all in to pump Reagan and conservatives. This was in the 80’s, and TDS is simply the step-child of Reagan Derangement Syndrome. The word ‘corporate’ then meant right-wing, but Postman makes many good points.
One thing I agree with him was that advertising is less about selling products now than pushing an ideology or lifestyle. He also states how the media is determined to wipe out any alternative form of knowledge.
In analysing Sesame Street, Postman stated the purpose of the show wasn’t really to get children to read, but to teach them how to watch television. He also shows how serious political discussion is undermined by the media…again, he uses Reagan as an example, but Clinton and Obama are much closer to the smooth media jabber Postman criticizes.
Another book I liked was by the Marxist Ariel Dorfman, How to Read Donald Duck, studying Disney comics and the worldview they promote. Again, a lot of leftist hoo-hah here, but Dorfman makes some interesting observations on media control and subliminal reinforcement of ideology.
Reading the opening paragraphs of this piece brought to mind the opening scene of “”Lansky” a biopic of the notorious Jewish gangster, Myer Lansky, played by Richard Dreyfuss. The opening movie scene was little Myer on the back streets in NYC getting chased down and beaten up by much bigger, very ugly gentile bullies while they called him a “dirty little kike.” I remember thinking: Oh, how predictable. I know how the story is going to unfold. The movie, even by Hollywood standards, was an over the top ADL propaganda set piece. Here was the lesson for the dummy gentiles watching, like me, who believed the Myer Lansky was one of the most vicious and creative entrepreneurs of organized crime. No. he was a brilliant, misunderstood victim of anti-Semitism who outsmarted the Jew-haters. The movie was so bad, I finally stopped watching it.
Lansky, incidentally lived a very long life, made it to 81. And, in spite of committing everything from homicide to tax evasion, did a maximum of two months in 1953, on a gambling conviction in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
And when he died he left all his money to a ‘charitable organization’ called the United Jewish Appeal.
After the little I’ve read about Lansky, it seems his whole purpose was to corrupt the goyim rather than enrich himself.
He was too toxic even for his fellow Jews in Israel. He flew there in 1970 to escape prosecution for Federal income tax evasion. He was deported back to the U.S., went to trial and beat the charges. Perhaps the Israelis were thinking that it was better, as you said, to be in the U.S “corrupting goyim.”
As someone once said: “Antisemitism is a disease, and you catch it from Jews.”
