This is Why We Had Segregation

1,898 words

With so much unrest happening in so many places these days, it’s hard to make sense of it all. America is fracturing, that much we can see. But as with an earthquake, all the tidal waves and crumbling structures don’t give us a view of the tectonic plates rumbling deep beneath the surface. But if we could see those tectonic plates, Read more …

The Outsider becomes an inside man.

The Hater (2020) is a slow and gritty tale of an outsider working at a troll farm in Warsaw as the city’s political factions are in an upheaval. Liberal politicians are confronted in the streets and on social media as nationalist Poland pushes back against anything akin to the oppressive socialist regime of the twentieth century. Read more …

Self Defense — From America’s Foremost Expert & Gun Culture Supporter

2,527 words

Massad Ayoob
Deadly Force: Understanding Your Right to Self Defense
Iola, WI: Gun Digest Books, 2014

In the wake of Charlottesville and other street battles between pro-whites and the Antifa, it is a good idea to take a look at the legal aspects of self-defense. For unlike movies and TV shows where the villain is killed by the hero and the show ends with the hero honored by all, violent self-defense has serious legal ramifications that could last for years. Mandatory Altruism.

If there’s a central defining feature of education and upbringing in the West among whites, Mandatory Altruism seizes that distinction. It’s the idea that a person’s moral worth depends upon how much he (or, more importantly, she) pines for the welfare of people unlike her. Read more …

Notes on Schmitt’s Crisis & Ours

Carl Schmitt, 1888–1985

3,994 words

Like many of his books, Carl Schmitt’s The Crisis of Parliamentary Democracy (1923) is a slender volume packed with explosive ideas.[1] The title of the English translation is somewhat misleading. The German title, Die geistesgeschichtliche Lage des heutigen Parlamentarismus, is more literally rendered The Intellectual-Historical Position of Contemporary Parliamentarism. But the word “crisis” is still appropriate, because parliamentary democracy in Weimar Germany really was in crisis. Read more …

March 1917 in June 2020

3,515 words

A recurring theme in Book 1 of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s March 1917 — or Node III of his vast Red Wheel opus — is “this could have been prevented.” Of course, this refers to the first successful socialist revolution in Russia, which took place in March 1917 (or in February, according to the Julian Calendar). In March 1917, Solzhenitsyn offers a wealth of perspective on the fateful events in Petrograd which led to the abdication of the Tsar and the monarchy’s ultimate replacement with the Provisional Government. Black Lives Matter is Black Supremacy

1,613 words

If there is one universal truth about humanity, it’s that we are, by nature, tribalistic. We identify with our tribe, whatever that tribe may be. In a monoracial society, tribalist loyalties can form around clans, nations, religions, classes, or even actual tribes, as is the case in many places in Africa. In multiracial societies, however, everything boils down to race. Read more …
