A Note on the “Islamic Question”

Alexander Wolfheze

1,214 words

Recently, Counter-Currents posted the transcript of an important interview with Dr. Johnson entitled “Conversation with a Philosopher: Greg Johnson Interviewed About the New Right.” As always, it is a pleasure to read Johnson’s incisive insights. Already, his exact and thorough metapolitical analyses provide fundamental building blocks of the New Right. In the case of this interview, one – somewhat marginal – note should be allowed: a note regarding “Islam.”

While it is undoubtedly true that what many Westerners have experienced as “Islam” is negative (sectarian violence, as well as alienating behavior and aggressive expansion in the Western homelands), it should be emphatically stated that these experiences are entirely due to the “reverse colonization” policies of the globalist hostile elite. The problems caused by the entirely artificial – globalist-enforced – presence of alien Muslim populations cannot be reduced to the true qualities of “Islam” as such. Of course, deep concern about real-life problems is entirely justified, but their true cause should be seen for what it is: the hostile elite’s immoral and unjustifiable ethnic replacement program.

With the deliberate insertion of a millions-strong alien populace, many Western nationalists and patriots are starting to lose sight of this true cause; they are starting to confuse it with its disastrous effects. This serves the hostile elite very well: The bloated “islamophobic” discourse distracts attention from the real enemy of the Western nations: the globalist hostile elite. The fact of the matter is that True Islam is neither an inherently political religion nor a memetic virus: it is simply one of the world’s great religious Traditions. The fact that the carrier populations of Islam are now used as “bio-evolutionary” weapons in the globalist deconstruction of the West does not alter this. The Islamic Tradition may have decayed and withered under the impact of modernity, but that is true of all of the great religious Traditions. The primitive level at which it is practiced by many of its immigrant adherents in the West, and the atavist existential realities that it inflicts on indigenous populations – mostly on its vulnerable parts – should never be confused with the core of True Islam. In the same way, postmodern pseudo-Christianity of the (hyper-altruistic, self-destructive, open-border) Boomer variety should not be confused with True Christianity.

When Johnson states that “the desire of people to become Muslim would disappear if we had healthier white identities and societies,” he implicitly recognizes the intrinsic value of Islam: its value as a bio-evolutionary strategy and as a psychological-spiritual self-defense mechanism. He recognizes the disastrous state of mental and spiritual health in the West. The fact is that, compared to postmodern pseudo-Christianity and materialist secularism, Islam is relatively superior in terms of current viability: by holding on to an unshakable transcendental reference point, Islam provides a strong existential framework in all spheres of life. This relative superiority derives not from the strength of Islam (all authentic Traditions are potentially equally strong), but from the weakness of Western Christianity, which is currently abolishing itself. This is well illustrated by the apathetic public response to the destruction of one of Western Christianity’s most sacred shrines: Notre Dame – this non-response truly constitutes a “sign of the times.”

The fact that, throughout the last century, many significant Western thinkers have converted to Islam merely proves that any authentic House of Being – privately or collectively – requires a religious and spiritual roof. The dramatic collapse of Notre Dame’s roof illustrates the point: There can be no House of God without God, and there can be no House of Being without a spiritual shield for any Being-in-the-World. There is nothing inauthentic in seeking refuge in a standing house after running from a collapsing house. That said, it is true that no “true Westerner” would give up his own Tradition: the true Westerner will reincorporate and relive it his new House. This is relatively easy in True Islam, because True Islam has already incorporated and relived Judaism, Zoroastrianism, and Christianity; in its perfect manifestations, it accepts and fulfills all of them. This may not be apparent to those who see only the primitive folk religion of the often unscrupulous and greedy Muslim colonizers that the globalist hostile elite has brought into the West. The entire Islamic Question would automatically disappear once the Ethnic Question is solved: the (preferably controlled, gradual, and flexible) reversal of mass immigration and ethnic replacement would solve both. Johnson’s White Nationalist Manifesto already offers a purpose-designed blueprint, spelled out in precise and concise words.

All those who doubt that any True Islam still exists, or has ever existed, may benefit from a more comprehensive study of its so-called “less orthodox” practitioners. The voice of True Islam has been smothered by decades of extremist rhetoric and media distortion; rhetoric and distortion that only serve the Western globalist hostile elite and its brain-dead lackeys in the deserts of Arabia. Those who wish to discover the voice of True Islam may start by listening to one of its most eloquent contemporary representatives: the Persian scholar and publicist Hosseyn Moheyddin Qomshe’i, better known as Elahi Qomshe’i. Many of his writings and lectures in English are freely available online. They may opt to start with his “Religion of Love” presentation: it has multiple layers of meaning, but even its most shallow surface layer states his case very adequately. It should be well understood that no True Muslim will hold his religion to be other than relatively superior, i.e. in the entirely private sphere – for himself alone. Qomshe’i has gone to great lengths to explain this point.

Thus, there is no need for anybody to convert to Islam: religious and spiritual perfection can be reached through authentic Tradition. Rather, Westerners may wish to rediscover their own Christian roots. It should be noted that the entire concept of “conversion” – as in arbitrarily changing into another set of religious clothes – is highly problematic. The truth is that one can only become according to the outcome of his own unique nature-nurture equation. At the collective level, the nature-nurture equation has produced many outcomes: religions, cultures, races, and nations. Those that are committed to the defense of the Western nations – currently on a clearly self-destructive trajectory – are well advised to see True Islam for what it really is. They should not be distracted by the “islamophobic” maneuvers of their real enemy: the globalist hostile elite.

The issues of religious and spiritual health aside, there is also the more imminent issue of (meta)political strategy. The chief strategists of the New Right would be well served by a new look at the Islamic Question. They will discover that the alternative strategy position vis-à-vis Islam may yield unexpected perspectives – and (temporary, pragmatic) allies. They will also learn that the alternative strategy concept has deep historical roots in the European Right. Throughout many years of facile islamophobe populism – mostly a smokescreen for featherweight “civic nationalism” – this alternative strategy concept has been stubbornly upheld by a veteran spokesman for Western indigenous rights: Kerry Bolton. Many of Bolton’s writings on the topic are freely available online. Understanding Bolton’s point will deprive the globalist hostile elite of one its most valuable assets: the distraction posed by the Islamic Question. Such understanding will help the New Right to focus on its key asset – ethnonationalist self-defense – and to focus on its true enemy: the globalist hostile elite.

There is no such thing as “our Christian roots”. Western roots are Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. Your “True Christianity” is 1000 years of poverty, war, intellectual and scientific decline. It’s like listening to Jeelvy how it would be wonderful if Russia just enslaved all their neighbours for some “traditionalist” values that don’t exist.

      1. Is there a second Jeelvy writing here, or are you putting words in my mouth?
      2. Ancient Greece and Rome were Mediterranean civilization. The West is German civilization and everything it accomplished, it accomplished under the banner of the cross.
      3. Traditionalist values exist, have existed and have created an orderly and magnificent civilization which still managed to be humble and curious about the world. They stand is stark opposition to whig and enlightenment values which brought nothing but war and degeneracy while wearing the mask of science.

I have to say, Jeelvy, nyou ever fails to leave a strong impression on me with your depth of thought and level of erudition. This comes from me as your fellow co-ethnic, and you know how harsh we usually are when assessing each other. Секоја чест.

Hard disagree. Islam has no philosophy worth speaking of. Its theology is exactly what one would expect of 80IQ Arabs, and all its great artforms are outright stolen from greater peoples. Greek architecture, Persian poetry, Hindu mathematics.

There is no thinking in Islam. No great discourse on free will, the nature of man, what Justice is or natural law. All it has is brutality. In a Perennial sense it does express eternal values, but it does it the way a mad brute does. Enforcing it with violence because it knows no other way. With no subtlety or nuance. And it never was any different. Islams Golden age is a lie created by guilt ridden westerners. The primitive Germanic tribes had a more complex understanding of divinity and law than these Arabs.

Islam is an ethnoreligious doctrine of Arab conquest. Nothing more. The only reason people convert to it is because it projects strength, and they either want to be on the winning team or fear muslim violence. Cowards convert. Men die fighting for the ideals of their own people, no matter how desperate.

My brother, surely, a cultured Persian who happens to be a Muslim does not conduct himself like some lizard-eating, swashbuckling sand n*g*er. We abhor Arab Sunni supremacism as intensely as any White Westerner.

We Indo-Persians have been Muslim for the last 1400 years. It’s in our blood now. It’s part of our ancestral heritage. But that’s that. We also cling firmly to our pre-Islamic Aryan traditions. A devout Persian Muslim still reverently kisses Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh.

Can a Central African Christian be deemed equal to a White German Christian? Of course, it can’t be the case.

      1. Smilo says:
        July 8, 2019 at 10:26 pm

That’s because you are a Persian, not because you are a Muslim. Your example doesn’t speak to the actual character of the religion, but to the great robustness and good quality of your folk, in spite of being under Islam for so long.

        1. Muhammad Aryan says:
          July 9, 2019 at 4:08 am

“Your example doesn’t speak to the actual character of the religion”

That particular character must not be thought as monochromatic. Various ethnicities characterize the religion differently. But I concede that Sunni nihilism has over the centuries defined its predominant character.

Within the Islamdom, the Persians are West’s natural allies against the most revolting of factions that are currently assaulting White homelands because as long as the Western political elites bow and grovel in the feet of obese Sunni monarchs and their Semitic (((cousins))), the equation between Islam and the West will never stabilize, and Muslim jiggabos will continue their march towards the Occident.
Today, Persia controls four Arab capitals, and, hopefully, soon the rest will be ours too.

Persian genetics changed the overlaid Islamic memetics into something Persian, much like European genetics changed the overlaid Christian memetics into something European. Sometimes you get the right meme fit for your genes and you build a magnificent civilization, like European Christians did. We’ve yet to see what Persians will do, but I wish them well.

They created the Safavid Empire, which spent most of its time fighting Sunni Muslims and other lesser Middle Eastern peoples. I give much credit to the Persian, Shi’ite world and it’s proxies. Also, most of the good stuff that earlier caliphates created were the result of ethnically Persian scribes, artists, and scientists

Islam, its hostility towards us and our reciprocated hostility towards them, is one of the most important factors in the rise of the New Right. Artificial though it may be there is little that makes the globohomo more doubtful of his liberal ways than the ongoing war between Islam and the West.

  4. Vagrant Rightist says:
    July 8, 2019 at 11:15 am

I find this article somewhat flawed.

I think the term ‘Islam’ is often used as polite-speak which primarily refers to its hordes of darker skinned adherents. Indeed we might as well call ‘Islamification’ ‘darkification’ or Otherification.

If these darker hordes from parts of Asia and the Middle East or Africa didn’t have Islam, they would likely be just as inconsistent with white civilization. Islam seems to provide these low-IQ groups with some kind of approval for their own state of being.

It should come as little surprise that when these groups come to the West they want to institute their own religious culture, and they see the West as spiritually weak, decadent and so on.

Whites who convert to Islam may sadly be attracted to something that appears stronger and has more integrity than their own group identity, yet that’s not saying much these days.

But it’s also often been the case that whites who convert to Islam are just another kind of wigger. They are whites seeking to embellish themselves with the mystique of the Other. Just the same with white Hindus, white Buddhists and the small minority of white converts to Orthodox Judaism.

In all cases they will still be white people, with white sensibilities doing stuff white people like and keeping their contact with non-whites to an absolute minimum.

The globalist elite you mention don’t care because Western traditions and culture mean nothing to them. If they can race-replace whites with groups from Islamic countries fine, but they will replace it with African Christians too.

“The fact of the matter is that True Islam is neither an inherently political religion nor a memetic virus: it is simply one of the world’s great religious Traditions.”

Ridiculous. Islam has been, since the days of Muhammed at Medina, an expansionist, ie imperialist territorial theocracy. It has never been anything else. The clear malice of the “global hostile elite” does not make it any less so. It has no place at all among us.

Bill Warner’s series of books on Islam is excellent.

The author of this embarrassing piece of Islamic propaganda is a good little dhimmi.

      Muhammad would be proud.

It is hilarious that fools think they have to suck up to Islam to prove their anti-Jew bonafides, as though one cannot walk and chew gum at the same time.

Bottom line on Islam: It is an aggressive (i.e. expansionist) and intolerant and hostile religion (e.g. ‘There is One God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet”). It is and has always been a political/religious ideology. One can appreciate Sufism (i.e. the mystical side of Islam), but the rest of Islam is a CANCER that any society tolerates at its peril. Even the normally peaceful Buddhists of Myanmar finally came to the conclusion that peaceful coexistence with the Muslims was no longer possible. The same conclusion will be reached by more and more Westerners as the number and power of their Muslim minorities continue to increase.

      Somewhat like:

There is but one God and Moses is his messenger.

      Or:

There is but one God and the Christ is his son, messenger, and himself.

Reply to Plato XIX: I am not an apologist for Christianity. But we must live in the historical realities of the present. One of the most important realities of the present is that our European homelands are being invaded by (among others) Muslims. We must not be apologists for the invaders (e.g. by seeking to equate Christianity with Islam) but need to be stern in our resolve to repulse them. P.S. If I were living in the 4th century AD, I would’ve been a supporter of Julian The Apostate. His Philosophy was closer to our “European Soul” than was Christianity.

“…The fact of the matter is that True Islam is neither an inherently political religion nor a memetic virus: it is simply one of the world’s great religious Traditions…”

Islam was inherently political right from the days of its prophet in Medina. It was established and spread by the sword. There is no separation between the religious and the secular, the individual and the collective in Islam, quite the opposite of the West. The ideas of “True Islam” as a manifestation of a sort of “Universal Tradition” come straight from Guenon, who himself converted to Islam. Islam doesn’t fit in the West (neither does it fit in India or China). Repatriation of Muslims is the solution. What Muslims do in their own countries is their own choice.

Islam is cancer and so is Judaism.

Jews do what they do by infiltration, manipulation and exploitation.

Both are parasites looking for a host. They are poison.

The only one I can think of is René Guénon, but there may be one or two others who are less famous. That’s about it.

And they didn’t convert to Islam, they converted to Sufism. Not the same thing at all – ask any Muslim.

I have never posted here before and do so only because I can’t be as sanguine as the writer about Islam. Last year we moved back to Northern Europe after a 24 year absence, fresh from the deserts of the Arabian peninsula where we had spent four grueling years. Any white man who has ever lived under Sharia in a conservative Sunni country will know forever that ALL of our enemies originate from the same general area. Islam is completely incompatible with European culture, at every conceivable level. If you want to see what it’s like to have money but neither the intelligence nor the Faustian spirit to build anything of substance with your resources, I invite you to live in the wealthier parts of the Arab world. It was easier to take truly wretched places like Sudan and Somalia than the soul-destroying hatefulness of Qatar or Dubai, which mixes the vulgarity of US consumer society, the aesthetics of Columbian drug lords and Jewish real estate moguls in Florida, with the intellectually sterile and hostile incantations of the local Imams. It is a nightmare to leave from there only to find that it has all followed you back to the fatherland. Islam is cancer.

I need to find that quote by St. Augustine that goes something like this: Christ was with us since the beginning even before Christianity”. If Christianity is viewed exoterically then the message will not come through. All Traditions then, that seek higher cognition, whether Islamic, Buddhist, etc.. are seeking the Christ whether they recognize Jesus or not.
