On the second day of our Summer Fundraiser, we received five donations totaling $254. Our two day total is now $1,429. We wish to thank all of our donors, past and present. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 11. We are off to an excellent start. (more…)

Saturday, June 16th is the 100th birthday of Enoch Powell, the British statesman who is most famous for his “Rivers of Blood” speech on April 20, 1968, in which he warned, prophetically, of the dangers of massive non-white immigration into the United Kingdom.
Powell called for cutting off legal as well as illegal immigration and for repatriating non-white immigrants whose high birthrates would eventually lead them outnumber the native British. (more…)

Rather than clutter up our site with last year’s fundraising thermometer, I have decided to post a daily update on how things are going. We announced our Summer Fundraiser on June 11th, our second anniversary, and thus far we have received $1,175 from three separate donors. (more…)

William Butler Yeats, the Irish poet, playwright, and politician, was born on this day in 1865. One of the greatest literary figures of the 20th century, Yeats’ life and work straddle the great divide between Romanticism and Modernism. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923.
In life and in art, Yeats rejected modern rationalism, materialism, and egalitarianism. He saw them as coarsening and brutalizing.
Spiritually, Yeats was drawn to mysticism and the occult, influenced in particular by Emanuel Swedenborg and William Blake. (more…)
