Each year, Jared Taylor’s American Renaissance names a “White Renegade of the Year,” a tradition begun by Wilmot Robertson’s Instauration. The white renegade of the year is someone who could have used his position to help whites but instead chose to do the opposite. In the same spirit, Counter-Currents is inaugurating a “Non-White Ally of the Year” series, to recognize non-whites who have used their position to help whites.

In early March of this year, I wrote “Ukraine and Epistemic Failure Analysis” as a response to the Right’s collective failure to predict that Russia would invade Ukraine and initiate what has become the largest European war since that bit of unpleasantness with the Germans in the 1940s. That essay concerned itself with that very narrow failure of the nationalist Right to accurately predict the onset of war. Since then, that conflict has developed and expanded, and so have the Right’s reactions to it and its predictions as to its ongoing course. (more…)

Is the Cuban Missile Crisis Analogous to the Ukraine War?
Part of the ongoing narrative about the ongoing Ukraine War is the idea that it is analogous to the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. Believing this analogy means one thinks this conflict can be resolved by hard thinking, a bit of compromise, and several diplomatic cables. (more…)

Mike Maxwell z nakladatelství Imperium Press přišel na substackovém účtu Imperium Press s dobře promyšleným protiargumentem mých postojů k válce na Ukrajině. Bílí nacionalisté by podle něj měli podporovat ruský vpád na Ukrajinu, jelikož Ukrajince podporují Spojené státy i drtivá většina členských zemí NATO, porážka Ukrajinců tudíž znamená porážku i pro naše vlády, což usnadní činnosti disentu. A Runestone Raised for a Fallen Ukrainian Asatruar
The story of an Asatruar fighter who fell in Ukraine and is being honored with a runestone was told to the author.
Like many Westerners, Harald rediscovered himself at the age of 30 when he got serious about sports, achieving a high level for a non-professional. He started with trail running, but, like Harald’s approach to his life, he grew ever more ambitious, entering a triathlon and eventually adding swimming and cycling to his schedule. (more…)

Mike Maxwell of Imperium Press has written a thoughtful response to my position on the Ukraine War on the Imperium Press Substack account. Maxwell thinks that it is appropriate for White Nationalists to support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine because the Ukrainians are being supported by the United States and most other NATO members, so a defeat for Ukraine will be a defeat for our own governments, which will make our own work as dissidents easier.
