Chapter Nine, “Europe and the Indo-Europeans,” addresses another required subject: the origins and development of the white race and its civilizations. These discussions, mixing science (genomes), soft science (anthropology), and “esoteric” science (Evola, again), usually make me want to lie down and take a nap — wake me when the Funnelbeaker Farmers annihilate the Corded Ware culture — but I think I now have the hang of this Indo-European business — the various ways the genetics of three peoples and the resulting cultures (male initiation, warrior bands, and caste systems) have intertwined in our history — thanks to The Golden One! What no one has wanted to say is that the implicit argument throughout Sexual Personae is that only white males have possessed the Apollonian rationality that “has taken us to the stars.”

Islamic civilization has been equally militaristic and expansionist; yet it quickly became frozen and hostile towards innovation and individual genius, despite the fact that praising Muhammad’s heroic lifetime has permeated Islamic societies to this day. The term “Turan” has experienced many uses and abuses ever since it was first coined. “Turan” originally referred to the less civilized northern Iranian semi-nomadic pastoral nations that had not adopted Zoroastrianism, while “Iran” referred to the more settled Zoroastrian nations of the south.
