Part 1 here
In Part 1, I laid out the historical significance of Christianity to European Civilization and the ultimate shortcomings that it undoubtedly has in retrospect. While this may have suggested a sort of anti-Christianity on my part, this could not be farther from the truth. The issue with Christianity was never that it could not produce a functioning society as a general system. (more…)

When it comes to assessing the economy, there’s a huge generation gap these days. Older generations who have had time to accumulate wealth are feeling optimistic. Their green lines have been going up. Meanwhile, younger people are being left behind due to suppressed wages and inflation. They neither have the wealth nor opportunity to catch a ride on the all-time stock market highs. (more…)

The wifejak meme has been the source of some controversy recently. Wifejak is a spin on the wojak meme. She’s a relatable character who says “woman things” that anyone who has been around a woman knows well. Essentially, the meme (which has existed for months but is apparently only now generating controversy after husbandjak, daughterjak, and sonjak have entered the stage) is lightly poking fun at women for being predictable and archetypical. Today on the Right, there is much discussion of religion in the West, and for good reason. Whether we are talking about reactionaries who wish to wind back the clock to Protestantism, Catholicism, Paganism, or esoteric Traditionalism—or futurists looking forward to a new Nietzschean or vitalist dispensation—just about everyone on the Right has some position (or positions, often contradictory) on religion and its relationship to Rightist politics. Donald Trump easily carried both the popular vote and the Electoral College in this last election. He was aided by three trends that the GOP should understand well if they wish to have what the Democrats had from 1932-1952, an era of total dominance in federal elections. (more…)

Tim Pool is always predicting “civil war.” So it is no surprise that on a recent podcast, Tim brought on guests Rudyard Lynch (aka, Whatifalthist) and Scott Greer to discuss the possibility of a civil war in modern America. Anyone familiar with these three knows why this conversation made for an entertaining discussion. (more…)

A revelation which I had in prison (in some ways a relatively high-strung, low-trust, violent environment) is that violence is transactional. This lesson from prison politics is especially relevant to real world politics. (more…)

Interwar Imperial Japan was rife with a phenomenon known as gekokujo. Gekokujo was a form of insurrection unique to the Japanese which was sparked by the ultranationalist feelings of members, often quite young, of the Imperial officer corps. What is fascinating about these idealistic young men is their passion, not to overthrow, but to strengthen the state and the national essence, what they referred to as kokutai. (more…)

Former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old former Fire Chief and father of two who had lived his entire life in nearby Sarver, Pennsylvania was not so lucky. He was shot and killed while shielding his family from the gunfire. Two other innocent bystanders were likewise seriously injured in the shooting. (more…)

What is America? What does it mean to be an American? Today it seems as though there are as many answers to these questions as there are people to provide them. This is especially pertinent for nationalists. One answer to this is it simply means possessing United States citizenship. (more…)

Japan is considered something of a utopia on the world stage today, standing among the lauded Nordic countries and wealthy microstates in terms of its civilizational level. Japan has virtually eliminated violent crime, has a high standard of living, is technologically advanced, stays out of wars, and remains a top world economy despite having seen better days. Japan even has a homogeneous population. Many on the Right therefore point to Japan as an example of the success of positive nationalism. (more…)

There were many factors that decided Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 Republican primary and general election: his panache (both figurative and literal), his appeal to independents, and his anti-establishment and national populist attitude all set him apart from the other candidates. But what also stood out and magnified those other aspects were his new ideas, or at least ideas that both sides of the political establishment had tacitly agreed to avoid. (more…)
