Alt Right meets New Right: John Morgan with Alain de Benoist at the 2013 NPI conference.

The following is the text of the talk that John Morgan was scheduled to deliver at Identitarian Ideas IX in Stockholm last Saturday, but was unable to due to circumstances beyond his control. As such it was intended for a primarily Swedish audience.
Today I want to talk about two schools of political thought that on the surface seem similar, but that are in fact quite different in a number of fundamental ways: namely the Alt Right and the European New Right. (more…)

Writers like myself have to be careful when addressing famous figures currently associated with the Alt Right. While I contribute as well as I can, offering insights, ideas, and disseminating information from the sidelines, what I do pales in comparison (more…)
There’s a reason you’re not supposed to use the Devil’s name. No sooner does Counter-Currentspublish a review dealing with the Great Purge-Meister Buckley than the MSM, (more…)

Last weekend, Counter-Currents sponsored the second meeting of the Northwest Forum in the Puget Sound area. The main speakers were Kevin MacDonald, who spoke on morality and moral signaling, and Jack Donovan, who spoke about violence in modern culture. We also heard from local activists, including a panel by members of the Cascadia group, which played an enormous role in the success of the event. (more…)
Since I believe in witchcraft (and have practiced it for years) I will admit that my heart skipped a beat when I heard that witches were planning to perform a worldwide spell to stop the God-Emperor. So far this story has been covered by the BBC, The Daily Mail, The New York Post, and other outlets. No word yet from The National Enquirer.

Why do people engage in self-defeating behaviors?
Why, for instance, do people ugly themselves up with blue hair dye, unflattering clothes, and irreversible fashion mistakes like tattoos and piercings? (more…)

Memes have power. Statistics have power. Which of us have not heard the statistic, bandied around universities, that 1 in 3 female college students will be sexually assaulted? Whether or not that statistic is accurate, it is a demonstration of the great ability of “sticky” facts and figures to permeate and influence the public discourse.
This is the text of Hunter Wallace’s address at the Atlanta Forum on January 28, 2017, which will appear in the forthcoming Counter-Currents anthology The Alternative Right.
The crisis began around late 2014 when a year and a half of public rallies by the League of the South had begun to take its toll. (more…)
Regular readers will need no introduction to the topic. It’s that painful, hand-wringing conundrum of just why other folks won’t “wake up” and realize what’s at stake. It’s that sinking feeling when someone we know and care about regurgitates a canned lined or says they’re taking a trip to a Holocaust museum; and that dinner table silence that confirms they just don’t get it. This article is for those people. (more…)
Last September, I wished Milo Yiannopoulos would just go away. Frankly, I found such antics as dressing in drag and bathing in pigs’ blood disgusting, and I wondered if he was repulsing more people from the Right than he was attracting. I even specifically mentioned his remarks on pedophilia: (more…)
Your world is rotten, but even more than
That, it’s hypocritical, it doesn’t
Consider its rottenness as rotten
Because it’s as willfully blind as it’s bent
(And by bent I meant crooked, and I meant
Corrupted, too). I hate everyone of
You, every so-called liberal thinker wont to
Repeat popular mantras like “One love”
(As if you wrote it yourself, as if you
Were original, as if it was true (more…)
Emmett Till was killed more than sixty years ago, but he’s a hotter property than ever. Scarcely a year goes by without yet another book or documentary recounting the tale of the hefty black youth from Chicago who got beaten and shot in Mississippi in 1955, for the mild transgression of “whistling at”—and physically molesting—a young white woman in a country store. There are two main forms this claim can take: that the war on drugs is racist in intent, e.g. that the war on drugs was created to be racist (whether it is or not); and that the war on drugs is racist in effect, e.g. that the war on drugs targets blacks and Hispanics (more…)
All political movements need a history, and such histories, if well-constructed, almost always coalesce into myth. Once mythologized, a movement’s past can inform its present members about its reason for being, its need for continuing, and its plans for the future. (more…)
We are presenting the following excerpts from Savitri Devi’s And Time Rolls On: The Savitri Devi Interviews in honor of the birthday of the great Swedish explorer, travel writer, and critical supporter of German National Socialism, Sven Anders Hedin (February 19, 1865–November 26, 1952). For a brief account of his life and work, see his Wikipedia article.(more…)
I am not worried about my name being added to any blacklist, dox-list, out-list, or whatever other lists that exist out there with the express Leftist-liberal purpose of naming names, (more…)

Here is my attempt at selling White Nationalism to liberal, diaspora Jews. I know, it will be a hard sell, but as a writer, I strive for a perspective as wide as the world. (more…)
“A film is a ribbon of dreams. The camera is much more than a recording apparatus; it is a medium via which messages reach us from another world that is not ours and that brings us to the heart of a great secret. (more…)
Tana Mongeau is an attractive and generally likeable performer on YouTube. She is eighteen, though some of her critics suspect that she may be fibbing about her age. She makes drama-laden videos on subjects like “iPhone Repairman Broke My Phone” and “The First Time I Got Blackout Drunk.” She also does bad-girl, clickbait titles like “I Got Banged with a Toothbrush” and “Weird Childhood Dildo Stories.” (more…)
The second season of the record-breaking show, The Man in the High Castle (hereafter TMHC), debuted last December on Amazon’s streaming service. The story is loosely based on Philip K. Dick’s novel of the same name, which establishes the setting: an alternative history scenario where the Third Reich and Imperial Japan won the Second World War and now (the show is set in 1962) occupy the United States, with Japan controlling everything west of the Rockies and Germany the Eastern seaboard. The following account of the destruction of Dresden on the night of February 13–14, 1945, is an excerpt from chapter 10 of Hellstorm: The Death of Nazi Germany, 1944–1947 (Sheridan, Colorado: Aberdeen Books, 2010), which deals primarily with the fate of innocent Germans, primarily women, children, the old, and infirm in the last year and aftermath of World War II.
