Implicit whiteness, with pyrotechnics: Or, the night white people took over Washington, DC
The other night I saw AC/DC at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. For those out of the know, AC/DC is an aging Australian hard rock band (founded 1973) famous for thundering, simple-themed songs that revolve around alcohol, women, and rock. Its guitarist, a pale, slight Scotsman named Angus Young, is known for performing while wearing a British schoolboy uniform (jacket, tie and shorts) which he sheds (except for the shorts) mid-concert and duck-walks the length of the stage with sweat and hair flying.
Of the thousands of human beings packed into the arena, I did not see a single non-white face. They may have been there, but in numbers that can only be described as statistically insignificant. They were working-class class whites, for the most part, spanning a range of ages, with the occasional obvious yuppie-with-a-black-T-shirt-for-the-occasion thrown in.
The swarms of whites did not go unnoticed by the smaller crowds of blacks orbiting the Verizon Center that night. They seemed slightly alarmed by the rugged whites, many of whom sported Celtic cross tattoos, Germanic cross T-shirts, and other signs of what psychologist Kevin MacDonald calls “implicit whiteness.” Some taunts were thrown in our direction by a group of black girls, and one black man was prompted, for reasons I could not discern, to bellow “suck my d***. Suck my big black d***” for all to hear.
The only blacks who interacted with whites were ticket scalpers, whose activities were ignored by the all-black police force on the scene.
Inside, the concert was an electrifying spectacle of deafening anthemic rock that drove the crowd nuts. Smoke, lights, a giant inflatable “Rosie” (you had to be there) and, for the finale song of “For Those About to Rock, We Salute You,” six full-sized battlefield canons were wheeled onto the stage and blasted at the appropriate moment. Women wore flashing devil horns, which went nicely with songs like “Hell’s Bells” and “Highway to Hell.”
I had a blast. But the pro-white observer in me could not help but play field anthropologist at the same time. Here I was, in the thick of thousands of whites, all communing, if you will, around what was essentially a pagan convergence. The same folks who heaped hatred on Sarah Palin could not have been much more comfortable with this panorama: a sea of white males all thrusting their fists in the air and yelling “oi!”, and the occasional buxom white woman — probably a non-feminist — gyrating with glee.
I am sure that conservative Christian whites would not have approved of much of it. But if we as whites are looking for what works, we should not overlook the “Viking” whites as an element of healthy, vigorous white life. They like the beer, the fighting and the sex. Properly directed, this is what a race on the survival track does.
In considering it further, I decided that the real function of AC/DC’s music is to whip up whites for war and male fertility. Again, these aren’t bad things for a race declining in numbers and influence across the Western world. And it all operates free from the scrutiny of the SPLC and other “hate hunters”, because it’s just too attenuated from anything explicitly pro-white (this explains why the criticism of “Lord of the Rings” as “racist” wasn’t taken seriously by anyone — though it was certainly accurate).
I have heard that at shows by another hard rock band, Pantera (with which I’m totally unfamiliar, except to know that they are not a skinhead or “white power” band), the implicit slips into explicit with occasional yelps of “white power”! Good. The more of this, the better.
There is a wonderful mystery to the dark forests of our European ancestors — the sprites, the gnomes, the elves, the swords, the axes, the knights, the maidens, the witches and warlocks, the war-party bonfires. It’s a bottomless lake for the white imagination, and I am sure that an experience like an AC/DC show taps into it.
Whatever is going on, whites show up, in large numbers, ready to rock. That’s about all we need, if you think about it.

I’m lost as to why some white nationalists seem to identify with “Heavy Rock,” because of its so – called “implicit whiteness.” Heavy Rock is an alien sound that sprung from Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound. Because most of these bands seem to be white is irrelevant to me. Idiotic lyrics accompanied by equally idiotic dress attire. This garbage has our people remaining adolescent and childlike (read Manning up by Kay S. Hymowitz). Infact it’s got our people dancing like fools to Sigmund Freud’s pleasure principle. And remember, it was two Jews who pushed Elvis Presley’s Rock n Roll on to the world. Yes, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Mike Stoller came from a staunch communist back ground (read Hound Dog by Mike Stoller and Jerry Leiber). And Rock n Roll is just another tool our enemies use to weaken and destroy.
If some think I’m been a bit over the top here, then why aren’t the number of nationalist groups in the hundreds of thousands (like at these concerts)? Simple! They are all too busy trapped in the pleasure principle, and not the reality principle.
Time for white nationalism to face the awful truth about the origins of the nonsense they sadly follow.
Excellent article. Much of Heavy Metal has strong Euro/classical/opera roots, just a cursory listen to it will show this to be true. Just because something was promoted by jews does not invalidate a musical genre embraced by MILLIONS of whites…(including yours truly) There were jewish classical composers, so does that make all classical music invalid, and not to be embraced as a “White” form of music ?

From my own experience, rock music is a hybrid entity — and if we examine its roots, we’ll see we shouldn’t buy the media narrative.
First, in ancient Celtic, Germanic and Indian folk music, a number of pentatonic scales including the “blues scale” (minor pentatonic plus flatted fifth) were in use, including alongside syncopated rhythm.
The standard blues song form is entirely derived from English drinking songs, but also shows up in the aforementioned folk music.
The call and response method probably originated in Scots churches.
AC/DC is extremely varied, musically, even if its roots are in the blues. To call it black music is inaccurate.
That being said, I’m not a huge fan of rock-n-roll. It’s too simple. But AC/DC has a healthy testosterone spirit, which beats the emo self-pity music many people listen to.
If you want to experience metal as European music, you’ll have to go underground. Fire up the first albums from Enslaved, Incantation, Burzum, Emperor and Carnage and tell me that isn’t a European art form.

All the aforementioned have brought us are drugs, violence, permissiveness (Woodstock one good example), bad behaviour, silly dress attire and many more destructive vices to beset our people and civilisation. Why white nationalists would want to continue this (in the form of AC/DC etc) is way beyond my comprehension. Also, how is listening to AC/DC going to save us from oblivion? Do some suggest we are to sing and dance our way to power? Lucky no AC/DC was around the time the reds invaded Berlin. Infact, thank God the German people had the Healthy Hitler youth to rely on.

I’ve always been an intense fan of hard rock music, particularly of the 70s, 80s, and early 90s variety. Something about the way these musicians harmonize their guitar riffs, drum beats, bass, and vocals really ignites something within my soul, something that most nonwhites simply cannot feel, much less enjoy. If that makes me a degenerate who has been manipulated and twisted by the ever-so-omnipresent Jew, then I suppose Greg should take down all of my essays. God knows just how deep my corruption resides….or how influential it could be….
But, assuming that’s not the case, I will say that I notice most other 20 somethings who enjoy this music tend to be much more intelligent than their peers. The majority of guys my age either listen to Negroid rap, Reggae-tone (Hispanic Rap), or the simplistic alternative crybaby dross that masquerades as rock music these days. Those who appreciate the classics (i.e. Black Sabbath, not Beethoven) tend to have more complex thinking patterns and appreciate more cerebral things. They acknowledge that something isn’t good simply because it’s “catchy,” (i.e. Lady GaGa or Kesha) but rather because it demonstrates real talent that’s been inspired by talented musical influences. ACDC, Dio, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and others, DO represent the latter.
From a practical standpoint, utilizing this music in some way to rally larger numbers of people to our Cause would likely yield much more success than attempting to use another genre. The key is figuring out exactly how to, which unfortunately, I’m not sure how to do. I leave that to the men who can really deal with the masses.

They are two simple chords; what YOU are suggesting is that highly inebriated drinkers were capable of complex musical progressions. Wrong. This information is totally FALSE. I’m hoping other WN do not take this assertion seriously.
The call and response method did NOT originate in Scots music. WTF? Are you serious? Call and response originated in the church music, specifically, the Psalms Antiphons and Responsorials and can trace its origins to Gregorian chant!
Again, I’m hoping other WN will do some research into this before taking these assumptions at face value.
With Heavy Metal there is always this set of stereotyped remarks such as ‘this music comes from blues, therefore, it’s negro music’ or ‘this is music made by worshipers of the devil’ and so on and so forth, but, as this article clearly shows, the results are self-evident. Those Christians of yesteryear condemning Heavy Metal were targeting the wrong Anti-Christ, as events have clearly showed. They should have known better.
I also went to a Iron Maiden concert in summer last year and I myself observed the same thing. There were a few South Americans in the crowd but, all in all, the majority was White European stock through and through. I wonder if Tea Party rallies congregate such quantity of white ethnicity in a single spot at a time.

Though only referring to the Beatles and Chubby Checker, Rockwell hits the nail on the head regarding hero worship and modern music. AC/DC (why are they called AC/DC?) are not heroes for any of our kids or adults to follow. We won’t win back our civilisation worshiping depravity, sickness and weakness.

It’s not only white people who like AC/DC. You ought to have a look at their insane Argentinian fans at 3 concerts they gave there in 2009, as part of AC/DC’s two-year tour Black Ice. This is viewable on a DVD “Live at River Plate”. The DVD includes a documentary on these fans.
Words fail me, but to sum it up, these devotees just choke and tear up when being interviewed about their beloved Angus, Malcolm, Cliff, Phil & Brian. AC/DC is literally central to their lives. Out of all the cities where AC/DC could have made this video, it is no accident they chose Buenos Aires to illustrate passion for a rock band.

I like folk and neo-folk. At one time I liked some metal and industrial a lot, but only because it was the best of a flawed breed. If you have a good library near you, check out all their British Isles folk, German Schlager & Volksmusik, Slavic-language music, and Spanish/Chilean/Argentine/Italian folk/pop music. You’ll likely discover something really interesting. A lot of Arab and Persian music is quite good, too.
Derniere Volonte is a radical traditionalist act from Europe. It’s beyond rock, but a bit too esoteric to be folk. They (or him, as the case may be) have made some unforgettable songs. Camerata Mediolanense (Italy) and Valkyra and Waldteufel are other superb bands. To be clear, these artists are not in any way related to the unsophisticated skinhead rock that is associated with white nationalism. They are also better than the weird and ironic ‘neo-folk’ acts like Death in June. Garmarna is a good Swedish band that’s done some really good renditions of traditional songs (Herr Mannelig, Vanner och Frander).
When examining music and other cultural activities that draw large numbers of Whites, I think these three questions naturally arise:
1) When does White preference for a activity indicate a healthy expression of latent White ethnocentrism?
2) When does White preference indicate the unhealthy influence of a sick society?
3) When is White preference insignificant and nothing but a meaningless coincidence that a particular subset of Whites share an arbitrary subjective preference for something?
Lots of cultural activities draw many Whites.
Negro football and basketball draw a huge White audience. Professional wrestling draws mostly Whites. Nascar draws mostly Whites. Heavy Metal music draws mostly Whites, but then again so do Marilyn Manson, Taylor Swift and Richard Wagner.
Now, I am far from a professional writer or academic; however, if I had to take a quick stab at identifying the characteristics of a cultural activity that belongs in category # 1, I would say that an activity might reflect healthy ethnocentrism if:
– The origins of the activity are distinctly White
– The activity emphasizes traditional European themes, idea, customs, imagery and motifs. In this case, I would loosely define “traditional” as pre-WW2 and earlier.
– The activity’s practitioners historically are all White
– The activity’s audience is all White
By this standard, most implicit White activities do not qualify as genuinely healthy expressions of White ethnocentrism. In terms of music, Heavy Metal fails on all four grounds and probably belongs in category 3 (neither healthy nor unhealthy just a meaningless subjective preference among a subset of young Whites).
Folk music definitely qualifies, however. Richard Wagner qualifies. And Alex K’s Black Metal probably qualifies too. It’s too bad that Black Metal deforms itself by emphasizing the macabre and grotesque to the extent that it does.
But, given that a certain percentage of young and immature Whites are going to be drawn to this style of music anyway, I’m glad Black Metal exists. I would much rather see young Whites lining up for Burzum and Varg Vikernes than for AC/DC.
While I probably agree with a good deal of what “Joe” has offered, one must never simply lump all “heavy” music together. There are many sub-genres in the broader “heavy metal” family of music, many that are simplistic hard-rock anthems, and many still that very complex in structure and composition, lyrical intellectually sound content, and composed almost exclusively by and for White people.

A lot of proper Metal has more in common with classical music in structure than the simple blues-based rock so many invariably lump it together with.
I realize underground Metal is not to everyone’s taste – but to write it off as juvenile, angst-ridden nonsense is as close-minded as it is simply wrong-headed.
YouTube has the video of Blind Guardian’s “A Voice In The Dark,” as well as “Valhalla,” done live. Note the way the word “Valhalla” is emphasized, with a crisp salute, which the audience returns, with enthusiasm.
These guys would be right at home with Alain Benoist, or Savitri Devi.

A recurring theme – a mantra, really – in the WN “movement” is the following:
“Would you suggest that we all listen solely to the Classical stuff? Yawn….”
In this confession, the author shows what an ignoramus he and other WN-types, who share a similar insalubrious and callow view, are. Not only does he have a very low and degraded aesthetic sense, but he is a paradox and an oxymoron. To label oneself a Radical Traditionalist, while discussing Evola at every turn, and confess that
“I’ve always been an intense fan of hard rock music”
is akin to being a Christian pornographer, an abstemious drug-fiend, or a puritanical whore.
This author then goes on to further compound abysmal taste cum stupidity by stating:
“Those who appreciate the classics (i.e. Black Sabbath, not Beethoven) tend to have more complex thinking patterns and appreciate more cerebral things.”
These various statements depict not just one individual’s ignorance about the musical heritage of Western culture, but ignorance en masse in the WN “scene”. Isn’t this phenomenon a sure sign that we are degenerating? Evola correctly averred that the exotericists of today have succumbed to materialism. Similarly, the WNs of today are almost as aesthetically, and thus spiritually, degraded as their antipodes.
To throw in the dustbin a millennium of Western music with the above statements shows naivete, ignorance, and pretentiousness. To consider “Black Sabbath” part of the “Classics” while waylaying Beethoven; to moan, pout, and “yawn” about being forced to listen to the “Classical stuff,” and whatnot, is more than just idiocy, it is an insult.
To add to this lunacy is the idea that because this “music” attracts Whites it has some sort of redemptive value. This is another attempt to avert drowning by grasping at a straw. The flotsam and jetsam of the nether regions is what this “music” is. It is the malodorous flatus of a purulent, apish demon.
This “music” is simplistic, and therefore, imbecilic compared to the past. It is cacophonous and always loud; so very loud and ear-splitting. The message is destructive. The attire is clownish, ugly, and enervating for youth to emulate. All in all, these “artists” can best show off their creativity by cleaning latrines, then ending their chore by dangling at the end of a rope.
My above catharsis notwithstanding, I am very familiar with people of this ilk, whether they are in the (bowel) Movement or not. They all claim to “appreciate” Classical Music while never, ever, listening to it when they are given the opportunity. Their radio, their “music” collection, and their iPod all attest to a musical desert, or, better yet, to a stenchy miasma of mephitic emissions.
Just because Whites gather in droves to smoke weed, master dipsomania, and gyrate like beasts of the jungle will in no way make Nordics transcend this mediocre age and put them on the straight and narrow.
I do know that if we take back our world, “popular music” will and must go.
On a more personal note, I have been listening to Classical music for twenty-four years. From chant to symphony, nothing has escaped my ravenous appetite for glorying in Heaven on Earth. I suggest you put an end to this Nordic negritude. If it’s an impossibility, then let Golden Silence reign triumphant.

I’d lay odds that with age most young nationalists will abandon AC/DC, Ronnie James Dio, Black Sabbath and other assorted trash. Those “bands” don’t produce music; they produce trash, and it ought to be called trash by every nationalist and traditionalist in the world.

You took it out of its original context to suit your purposes. I do not have any particular issues with Classical music, it simply isn’t what I choose to listen to.

Again, taking my words out of context. I said that according to the Indo-Aryan spiritual texts, the Age of Kali, of Darkness, of the Wolf, or whatever you would like to call it, began many millennia ago. Therefore, anything that is cultural that exists after the fact would contain elements of the degenerate age in which we live, and that would include Classical music, despite its numerous positive aspects.

I’m nobody spectacular, but I’ve had eleven articles published on this site, two of which were scholarly essays published in The Occidental Quarterly, some of which were linked to by other right wing sites, some of which were even translated into other languages for Traditionalist and other right wing sites in Europe. For several months, as the editor has made clear to me, my article on The Elder Scrolls was the most highly viewed. I’m sure you find this as proof that the Cause is full of “degenerates,” but saying so would appear petty, so just keep it to yourself. Now, other than trolling the comment boards of works that other people wrote, what have you contributed? Our Cause has enough grumpy geriatrics and serial comment-posters.

Very few decent hard rock songs have “screaming” as part of the lyrics. There are some exceptions, of course, but it appears that you’re confusing Classic Hard Rock/Metal with modern day Scream-o and Hardcore. I’m no fan of the latter.
As for hard rock having no place in a “virile” culture, I would ask you what such music is if not virile? It is full of raw, Titanic masculinity, which can at times border on frenzied barbarism, certainly, but it is needed for the gelded gender that is today’s man. Your opinions against the sound of it, and my opinions in favor of it, are probably more the result of our respective ages, but I have no doubt that, if the lyrics were cleaned up a bit, it could be a very positive entity in a future White nation, alongside the Classics and various forms of folk music.

If anything, it only taps into forces lying within the human soul that naturally exist. It represents the Dionysian side of life, for sure, but we need this alongside the more Apollonian aspects. We need a wild impulse that is tempered by a form-giving force, in other words. Civilizations cannot succeed without both of these existing side-by-side, often checking the influence of one another.

Then allow me to close with a few final comments of my own.
1. I do not have any particular problem with Iranians–in fact I’m quite captivated by the history of the Safavids–but if a White ethnostate is ever created, an Iranian will have no place telling its leaders who ought to be hanged or what will be purged. Post such suggestions on a website that represents your community’s interests.
2. One is not culturally corrupt simply because he enjoys one or two aspects of modern civilization,especially when partaking in said aspects are not self-destructive or negatively influential to others.
With each passing day I’m noticing the steady decline in our people’s morals, behaviour, and hair/dress sense. This unnatural phenomenon can only have come about via the TV and music industry. And yes, AC/DC are just a small contributing part of this transformation. Yet here we have so – called white nationalist joining in the very circus transforming and destroying our people. Truly Bizarre!!!
The video below is enough to prove my point. Just look at the behaviour from so – called adults. Like I’ve previously said, this stupid music keeps our people in a childlike state. The thousands of people at these concerts couldn’t give a dam about saving what we fight for. Yes, they’re too busy being entertained in the pleasure principle. When the reality principle is replaced by the pleasure principle, then one doesn’t have any conscience. And this now explains why most of our people don’t care anymore to what is happening to them. Their ego and superego’s have been sourced by the t.v and music industry. Our Freudian enemies know this only too well.

There is a wonderful mystery to the dark forests of our European ancestors — the sprites, the gnomes, the elves, the swords, the axes, the knights, the maidens, the witches and warlocks, the war-party bonfires. A lot of hyperbole and short-sightedness has been shown on both sides of this little debate.
One side I think is giving far too much unwarranted praise to heavy metal and hard rock as a legitimate cultural substitution for previous forms of the western tradition, and then you have people like Joe and Iranian who are on the opposite end who won’t even entertain the idea that heavy metal (I would agree with them about hard rock) contains a few musical styles (like Black Metal and Folk metal) that have many elements that can point people toward something higher in man. Nor do they stop to think that the music they so cherish contains degenerative elements because after all, as one poster pointed out, if you believe this is the Kali-Yuga (Iranian would believe so, not sure about Joe) and the start of it was around 6000 B.C., every example of society/culture, even Indo-European, contains degenerate aspects. If even classical music has seeds within it of degeneration, as Evola pointed out in Ride the Tiger, than clearly lower, middle-brow Americana produced music like bluegrass and “old country” are examples of this degeneration.
So for those who praised this article, don’t be so quick to praise a form of music just because it brings in mostly whites (and honestly, most who attend these concerts show the same nature as those who attend something like a rap concert), and to the other group of posters, don’t be so quick to dismiss the entirety of a particular music just because most of it is trash (you’ll miss those diamonds in the rough), and give a wipe on your foggy musical nostalgic glasses, since your favourite forms of music are not without their stains of the Kali-Yuga.
