This was a good talk. Endeavor has his head on straight.
My rap song:
“Jump Around” by House of Pain
I reluctantly confess to a liking of a song that was mentioned during the program, “Lose Yourself”, by Eminem (an Eminent Anti-White). Actually, I like it quite a bit — although I do despise the rap genre. 🙂
Thanks
Invite Alexandre Cormier-Denis to the show to talk about Québec nationalisme and séparatisme.
That was pretty good! The whole thing was nourishing, but I most liked the discussion of rap songs. I’m glad you told me the context of that Ben folds song or I might have thought he had lost his mind! He has a lot of satirical songs like that—if you’ve ever hear Rockin the Suburbs, it’s a mockery of rage against the machine and korn. I agree—even with my deplorable taste in music, I can find nothing to like in those bands!
A guy did a study of musical taste and IQ. He used the crude method of checking kids’ Facebook likes and their colleges, then going by the SAT avg of the school. Most things clustered demographically. Rap low, most rock/pop avg. Classical was very high, but my point is that Ben folds was also very high!
My favorite rap: Brass Monkey by Beastie Boys
I wouldn’t call France today a “liberal and revolutionary” society. They’re easily the most racist and protectionist in the entire Western world when you look at French public opinion. It’s just that this democratic will isn’t expressed in the country’s institutions.
Wow, Greg just read my mind about the disastrous consequences of Covid-era conspiracy theories on the “Dissident Right”. And he’s completely right about the Netherlands. Thierry Baudet had enormous potential but he completely threw it away by going down the extreme conspiritard rabbit hole. Such a shame.
What is the Platonic or Aristotelian equivalent of “forgiveness”? Is there one? I rather suspect not. Does forgiveness as such require pity?
There is no such concept.
That’s what I thought. Does it have any sensible basis, then, or is it merely Christian or post-Christian sentimentality?
There’s some use to letting go of hard feelings IF you want to go on living with someone. Surely Plato and Aristotle knew of such a thing. But forgiveness never entered their discussions of the virtues.
What Aristotle called the crown of virtues, magnanimity, has an aspect of forgiveness.
Yes, this is a good point. But there’s no specific concept for it, and this aspect of magnanimity strikes me as more a form of tolerance for human imperfection: not so much letting go of hard feelings as never letting them happen because one is realistic about human failings.
Exactly. You beat me to it. On the other hand, he’s proud. Does that indicate some kind of confusion from the standpoint of the philosopher?
Isn’t that because the megalopsychos doesn’t care about trifles and slights?
Yes, but that is less a form of forgiveness and more a form of tolerance, just not caring. When someone does something that requires forgiveness, that would seem to presuppose that they wounded you in some way, thus that you care deeply about what happened. Whereas the magnanimous man is simply indifferent and impassive to certain human failings. But his pride means that he would not be indifferent to or easily forgiving of a deep affront.
Very nicely put.
It’s fair and understandable that Endeavour spoke against the widespread phenomenon of libtards in Canada, but it is not entirely absent in the US of course. I would say the same libtard mentality is highly concentrated in the state of Massachusetts. It’s the exact same smug, mindless, elitist self-indulgence. (Many people refer to the people of Massachusetts as “Massholes.”)
I really don’t know what to think of people who have high trust for the mainstream media and institutions that are connected to such an obviously corrupt society. It’s as if they cannot discern that their own belief systems are the result of ruling class propaganda and upper-middle-class conformity versus a genuinely educated mind capable of forming an opinion based on independent thought and deep reflection. Modern left-flavored liberalism has become a bourgeois mind game, confirmed by the spitefulness toward working people. These types of liberals are willful. It all points to too much comfort which results in social, political, and cultural decadence.
Yeah, I was definitely thinking of the “Eastern liberal establishment.”
Let’s not forget that Canada persecuted Ernst Zundel for seeking and speaking the truth.
Here is a high-ranking member of the Canadian political establishment:

This was a most interesting and informative discussion about politics in Canada and the mindset of Canadians. The striking contrast with our bad neighbors to the south (Mexico) had me baffled as to the Canadian psyche; the seemingly more-liberal-than-thou attitude wafting in from the north. Endeavor is just a fantastic thinker and presenter of nationalist ideas.
I appreciated even more the discussion on “Is Christian forgiveness a weakness”. I confess, I think it is. A Christian friend has explained to me that it’s more to benefit the forgiver than the trespasser; but surely there must be some limits to that, or else forgiveness is just meaningless other than as an expression of moral cowardice. Greg Johnson provided an impressively nuanced take on that.
Very much looking forward to the David Zsutty vs. Greg Conte debate. That should be a fantastic discussion! Thank you, Counter Currents Radio for this excellent weekly show.
Endeavor (sorry, Endeavour) makes some good points about “Slopulism” and how nice White people think in the People’s Republic of Canada.
But I disagree that “sloppy populism” in the wifebeater T-shirts and the trailer parks is Trump’s secret sauce. Endeavour is not alone, though; every mainstream media body with the possible exception of Fox News thinks so too.
Donald Trump was a billionaire with nothing to lose who made a meteoric rise in 2015-16 when he took the issue of Immigration to the fore, and White people who were not part of the elite media or the establishment heard the dogwhistle.
This message was far too Racist for the mainstream GOP to touch, and the Mitt Romney and John McCain Republicans immediately became diehard “Never Trumpers” until the Populism of Trump’s movement spoke for itself. Soon they had to either get on the Trump Train or hold their noses and pretend.
For me, the first time that I had ever registered to vote as a Republican was in 2016 to vote for Trump in the Primary.
It has helped that the Democrats have completely lost their script with weak candidates such as Hillary, Biden, and Kamalamala.
Trump’s base is hardly “Slopulism.”
Trump certainly does know how to “Troll” Libtards in the media elite, and he does this very well. Why not? They hate his guts but he bests them easily.
Now, I will agree with many of my White friends who are a fair bit more Liberal that this is not exactly “Presidential,” not the behavior that we should expect in a Chief Executive. But it is what it is. I do prefer filet mignon and rock lobster but I certainly don’t mind some tube steaks and sour cabbage once in awhile.
Prior to Trump the best that we could do was Ronald Reagan. But the media elite were never so hysterical about Ronnie as they still are about the Donald. Both were entertainment media insiders who understood Hollywood and were not intimidated by them in any way.
I am hardly saying that Trump is without faults. He is far too Kosher for my liking, but nobody has accomplished more, at least not in my lifetime. Trump’s first term was as though run by an amateur who had never worked in the political arena. His Jewish son-in-law as his chief advisor… Really?
Trump’s second term has been far more impressive, and it is not even a year old.
Yes, I would be happy to welcome Canadian provinces in the West like Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba into the United States if they were so willing. But the Canadians can keep Ontario and Quebec, etc. ─ elite gun-eschewing Libtards who think Rastus is swell and Diversity is a strength, and are yet to be mugged by reality.
No thanks.
🙂
Are whites smart enough to stop the planet from dying from global warming as our president tells us?
Contrary to what Endeavour says here, the motive of the Butler, Pennslyvania Trump shooter has NOT been officially announced or verified.
A simple Web search will show various mainstream sources all admitting this and debating what Thomas Matthew Crooks’ motive was.
I meant to comment on this when the interview happened but forgot to. Not sure if he’ll see this but I really value Endeavours content (Telegram, Odysee etc). One of the best sources of information for what is going on in Canada, but good takes all round. Stumbled across his film reviews with Morgoth a couple of months ago. Binge listened to some of them. Very entertaining. Highly recommend. The James Bond one was great, Mark Collett has done a review of one as well. Hope they do more of them. Great outreach content I’ve used to introduce right wing guys to content creators on our side.
