When Barack Obama was sworn in as president in January of 2009, the most influential conservative commentator in the United States was talk radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh was a loyal supporter of all things Republican, and hostile to government intervention in the economy, instead preferring the more hands-off approach typical of his party. But this was not the mood of most of the electorate in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. When Obama achieved a landslide victory through promises of Left-wing economic reforms, Limbaugh was naturally disappointed, and regarded the Obama presidency with deep suspicion. (more…)

Several days ago, Jewish economist and former New York Times columnist Paul Krugman posted a six-minute video of himself in which he expounded upon his hatred of Donald Trump and everything MAGA. At first, he seemed most appalled by Trump’s response to various musical artists who recently pulled out of this summer’s Great American State Fair concert in Washington, DC. (more…)

Browsing online lately, I came across an infant joke-collection I had once owned as a child. Called The Pink and Wobbly Joke-Book, and sporting a cartoon image of a large strawberry blancmange with eyes and grinning mouth on the cover, every last joke within related invariably to the twin concepts of pinkness and/or wobbliness. Most were complete rubbish, along the lines of “What flies and wobbles? A jellycopter!!!”, (more…)

On Tuesday, April 21st, a Grand Jury in Montgomery, Alabama indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit money laundering based on FBI and IRS investigations. (See press release here.)

Péter Magyar’s landslide victory over Viktor Orbán in the April 2026 Hungarian election presents both a problem and solution to the American Right. It indicates that the Republicans will be slaughtered in the 2026 midterms and quite possibly the 2028 presidential election — if things stay the same. But it also shows a path to not just an electoral victory, but a landslide like Magyar’s.

A Homeland Institute poll I conducted found low support for intervening against Iran, as did many other polls. But Trump’s disastrous 2026 Iran War has not had as strong of an immediate effect on polling as it should have, both in regard to Trump and to the war.

Now that Donald Trump has embroiled the United States in Israel’s war with Iran, one could be forgiven for assuming that the Zionist stranglehold on the Republican party is stronger than ever. After all, Trump-supporting media outlets are firmly behind the president, and MAGA loyalists seem utterly enthralled by the cult of personality that has developed around their supposed champion. Perhaps there was some truth to Trump’s joking remark, made in January of 2016, that he could “shoot someone” on a busy street in New York and without losing the backing of his voter base. (more…)

As an American, I would like to think well of my country. But thanks to Donald Trump, we are now wondering if 175 Iranian schoolgirls were slaughtered by Jews as a Purim blood sacrifice to Yahweh — or slaughtered by an Affirmative Action-American as a sacrifice to Moloch or maybe Caliban. As an American taxpayer, I would like my government not to make me culpable in war crimes. But America is not ruled by and for Americans.

On Thursday, the longest US government shutdown ended after 43 days. It’s not going well for Trump, however.

First, the bipartisan U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability released 23,000 pages of new Epstein files. Ahead of the main batch, Democrats highlighted and released three emails in which Epstein claimed Trump “knew about the girls” and “spent hours at my house” with a girl who was redacted as “victim.” (more…)
