Reading Between the Lines:
Frozen Refugees

Colin Liddell

857 words

Just saw a story in The Independent: “Refugees in Greece ‘could freeze to death’ in snow due to inadequate winter preparations, warn aid groups.”

My first response was to break open the champagne, but then I thought, “This is how Leftist bullshit works. Create an entirely fake image that is designed to manipulate the emotions of soft, gullible people, and then milk them for everything they’ve got.” So I read on.

The nub of the story (the rest is just repeated hand-wringings):

At least one Afghan man died in the cold conditions last week, Greek media reported, as the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) rushed to distribute thermal blankets and heating fuel and instal electric heaters and insulation.

Some 2,100 places have been found to accommodate those most at risk from the weather in apartments with host families, with another 700 places found for unaccompanied children, but rights groups are calling on the Greek government to act quickly to reduce overcrowding by moving the most vulnerable people on Greece’s islands to the mainland.

The authorities have also been criticised for not preparing properly for the life-threatening winter weather. ‘Europe should stop making the lives of migrants and refugees more miserable,’ a statement from Medicins Sans Frontieres read.

Can you see it? Can you see it?

Those poor, frozen little refugees – their tiny, emaciated brown bodies frozen hard and blue because of a cruel and callous Europe. And look at all that terrible snow! Don’t forget to conjure up the snow before your mind’s eye. It’s there in the headline, after all!

Oh, the humanity! How can we let this happen?

Wait, let’s take a step back. What is this story actually based on? Answer: one Afghan who “died in the cold conditions last week.”

What does that even mean? The Independent doesn’t provide a link to that story. He could have been 94 and hit by a falling piece of masonry while admiring the frost on the grass.

Okay, let’s have a Google… Yay! Got it!

Putting “Afghan dies in Greece cold” into Google turns up the following relevant story:

Police in northern Greece say an Afghan migrant has died of hypothermia after crossing a river that forms the country’s border with Turkey.

The body of the man believed to be 20 years old was found in a field early Tuesday near the Greek border town of Didimoteicho after police were alerted by another Afghan man who said he had traveled with him across the Evros River.

Overnight temperatures in the area plunged to –14 Celsius (7 F).

I’m sure you will agree that this scenario is quite different from the image we were invited to conjure up by the bare mention of the man’s death in the first article.

This story is not about refugees in Greece, but instead a single refugee illegally entering Greece in a dangerous manner, without using common sense, and getting killed in the process. This is more an entry for the Darwin Awards than a tragic example of European cruelty.

The “towelhead” in question died because of sheer stupidity and because we have signalled a green light to these people that they can live on our welfare and molest and rape our women and children with relative impunity.

He also died because he forgot his towel.

Okay, that’s a low blow, but, f**k it, that is an entirely legitimate response to the ongoing emotional manipulation of these “dead refugee” stories, where for every one that dies we are expected to take thousands more in to irrevocably ruin and destroy our societies.

My prediction is that no refugees will die of the cold this winter in Greece or anywhere else, unless they are actually engaged in otherwise dangerous and illegal acts.

The truth is that they are horrendously pampered, their every whim and need seen to by NGOs and Leftist volunteers tripping over themselves to morally signal how wonderful they are. Meanwhile, our indigenous homeless are the ones freezing to death on the streets.

One thing stood out in the Independent story: “2,100 places have been found to accommodate those most at risk from the weather in apartments with host families.”

Hope none of those families have daughters, as this story is the sort of thing that is more likely to happen than a refugee freezing to death:

A seven year old girl was stabbed to death in an apartment in Upplands-Bro in northern Stockholm on 25 July this year by a 36 year old man, Daniel Gebru. Ten months earlier Gebru arrived as a welfare of migrant from Eritrea to Sweden . . .

Gebru has not been able to give any concrete reasons for why he cut the throat of the seven-year girl in the bathroom of her home. He had previously been living in the apartment. What he did there on that day is unclear because according to some data he was not living there anymore. As the Court notes, however, he did live in the apartment when the murder was committed but Gebru had failed to pay rent.

Gebru has stated that he had intended to take his own life but for unknown reasons instead stabbed the girl to death.

    Good analysis.

It is also worth remembering that this is clearly an ideological piece of Leftist manipulation because we pass multiple homeless men everyday (typically white) and the elderly who freeze to death in the winter. I’ve never seen a Leftist outraged over these facts or attempt to help these in need. The money spent on refugees could easily be siphoned off to them.

As the article demonstrates, the Left only cares if it can manipulate you into believing that that war-torn, brown, hard-done by, refugees are freezing and need our help, so that they can dilute the country of white people.

Poor Gebru had been thrown out of the apartment because the brutal, racist Swedes demanded he pay rent. He killed the seven-year-old little girl because he was angry at being treated so inhumanely. Can’t the brutal, racist Swedes understand that demanding rent from a refugee is a crime against humanity? No – we shouldn’t give a moment’s thought to the terror that probably gripped the child as he butchered her; she probably was an infidel and so deserved to die. If there is justice in the world, Gebru will be set free and given a big apartment paid for by the state. No – not in prison. In the best part of the city, so his vibrant light can shine on before the brutal, racist Swedes.

…And remind them how empty and stupid they’ve become. …How weak and nauseating their pathological altruism has made them.

    Kill them all, Gebru.

Whenever I read any stories by the system-promoted press, then I immediately wonder about the details Colin Liddell brings to the surface. What actually happened, why are there unaccompanied refugee children, how come that in my town last week four homeless people could freeze to death and there is no screaming headline in the paper, etc. It is usually sobering to discover he various forms of mendacity employed, such as not reporting, or leaving out important details, or exaggerating one aspect while downplaying another, with or without moralistic cant. This realization should be follow up with a cancellation of the paper subscription. Even leftist creeps need an income, and as I have learned from reading about various aspects of changes of political systems, they are quite willing to act according to a change of course by 180 degrees with the same cold-hearted dedication they devoted to their previous raison d’être.

Right, but why do you do it? Where does this sympathy come from?

Not a single non-white country exhibits this, not even altruistic ones. Such as Japan, for example, which is internationally altruistic but domestically extremely nationalist.

Also, relatively speaking there are less and less whites in the world, and also probably less jews. And yet the pathological altruism continues unabated. Shouldn’t it have been cleansed by now?

As a Christian, I devoted my entire life to helping those “less fortunate” & loving everyone equally.

Needless to say, my kindness was my weakness & deceitful muslims (here in America) tragically destroyed my life, my health, my family & everything I worked so hard for.

Of course, traitor Obama & his administration don’t recognize, nor report, hate crimes against Christians by muslims.

Furthermore, they take it a step further, SILENCING victims & horrifically destroying our lives, ensuring that their devious coverup remains covered up.

The result is that I’m no longer “pathologically altruistic”, but the expense I’m paying for such “enlightenment” is something I hope others never have to endure.

I don’t yet know how I can help, but I know I’ll die trying to prevent white genocide & to ban Islam in America.

    Helping refugees, frozen or otherwise:

The first help that the West can give to the refugees, is for the American-European military alliance, NATO, to stop bombing and destroying the Arab-Muslim countries of the Middle East.

The second help that the West can give to the refugees, is to assist them to return to their own countries where their roots and responsibilities lie. Having aliens residing in our countries as refugees, asylum-seekers, immigrants, etc., etc., does not do either them or us any good. Like all of us, the foreigners are moral creatures with a responsibility to their own communities and their own countries; they should be helped to fulfill those responsibilities, rather than living here as itinerant mendicants.

    1. Walter says:
      January 14, 2017 at 6:35 pm

I agree with this. To return them to rebuild, build and maintain their own countries is the only solution and the sooner this is done the easier it will be on everybody. If they were just refugees as implied by fleeing to another country, they should be kept in camps and not given any special accommodation other than keeping them in waiting to return. The West has to stop causing this dislocation and disorder in the societies from which these people come.
This, however, is in opposition to what politicians are plotting. In Germany, for example, their appellation has changed from “refugee” to “migrant”, “immigrant”, even “new citizens”, and all sort of cant is being produced by the licensed press, television, etc. to talk “refugees” up into a role they would not be eligible for as “refugees”. In addition, there are not just Syrians, there are North Africans, Blacks, Indians, there are people from the Balkans, who do not qualify for the term refugee, yet they come and come..
To undo the damage wrought by opening all gates to everybody will cause immense tensions internationally.

  6. R_Moreland says:
    January 14, 2017 at 12:04 pm

The authorities have also been criticised for not preparing properly for the life-threatening winter weather. ‘Europe should stop making the lives of migrants and refugees more miserable,’ a statement from Medicins Sans Frontieres read.

Those pesky Europeans, making life so miserable for the wandering Zensunni. To accommodate the cultural enrichers, the EU should immediately contract with the Spacing Guild for a weather control satellite to turn Europe into a nice, warm desert.
