Help us hit our new $10,000 match goal!
We are pleased to announce that Counter-Currents has been given a $10,000 matching grant offer between now and Christmas. This generous giver emphasizes the incredible importance of the written word as an ideologically centering force in a world swamped with memes, TikTok, and other transitory media. We have just weeks to go and are still $138,043 away from our target that we need to fund our operations through 2024. Please join this supporter and make your donation go twice as far this season.
It’s okay to love memes. We all maintain a huge meme folder, and future civilizations will analyze Spongebob Squarepants as the political commentary of our time rather than a children’s cartoon. In large part we owe the popularization of the term “Great Replacement” as well as other concepts to social media. Scott Greer, a Substack journalist formerly of The Daily Caller and Radix, calls this the “Vibe Right”: when social media communities form around a culture determined by shared meme references. Memeing is productive, and a ton of fun. But it’s transitory.
The concept of the Great Replacement would never have come about if Renaud Camus had never written a book by that name. There would be no cat videos featuring Jonathan Bowden’s oratory without Counter-Currents’ own archivist working to preserve Bowden’s legacy and make it accessible to everyone for all eternity. Permanence needs a written foundation. Counter-Currents has been providing that ideological framework since 2010 by establishing a movement that is unashamedly pro-white, not merely conservative. Intellectual, not reactionary.
At Counter-Currents we remember and learn from those pro-white thinkers and cultural figureheads who came before us by celebrating the birthdays of fellow travelers such as Jonathan Bowden, Madison Grant, F. T. Marinetti, Ezra Pound, and Jack London. But while we sometimes look to the past, our books look toward the future: The White Nationalist Manifesto, White Identity Politics, and Toward a New Nationalism offer clear-headed philosophical and moral arguments for pro-white ideology, activism, and nationalism.
Visit our Classics Corner for more foundational essays from our vast archives to give you grounding. So please go ahead and “vibe.” But also use the resources at Counter-Currents to ground your vibing in something permanent as we prepare for all the exciting times ahead.
As J. R. R. Tolkien wrote in The Fellowship of the Ring, “The old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.”
Please give generously. Remember: Those who fight for the Golden Age live in it today.

Just sent something, Cyan. Merry Christmas!
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Does the paywall subscription still give access to a private telegram chat? I believe I read that somewhere but can you confirm?
Yes. Write to [email protected]
I saw Cyan on Millennyule. She’s very pretty.
