Today is the last day of the Counter-Currents 2024 fundraiser. Our goal this year is ambitious: $300,000. But actually the amount is modest considering our goals, namely saving our race and civilization from extinction. Thanks to our generous readers, the current total is $243,340.54 which is 81% of our goal. This means we have $56,659.46 to go, with a deadline of midnight Pacific Standard Time. I am optimistic, because we still have not heard from some of past years’ largest donors.

Because some people are sending checks by mail, it will take a few days before we know the total. If you are putting a donation in the mail, please let us know the amount so we can add it to the total.  (more…)

1. Our 2020 Fundraiser

This year, Counter-Currents is struggling once again to make our annual fundraiser goal of $300,000. Thanks to our many generous donors, we are now at $218,161.92. Thank you.

The glass is 72.7% full. With the amount that has come in, I am confident that Counter-Currents will be able to do more of what we have done in 2024. But I’m afraid I am fixated on the 27.3% that remains empty. I’d be perfectly content with just doing more of the same, if I weren’t so ambitious. (more…)

Have you ever stumbled across one of those birdhouses for books in nice neighborhoods? Little Free Libraries are a way neighbors anonymously offer new reading material to each other while following one simple rule: “Take a book. Leave a book.”

The Little Free Library website itself features photos of blacks and Hispanics proudly standing by their libraries. The organization purports to achieve its mission of inspiring readers by “providing 24/7 book access,” thereby suggesting that black, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individuals might not read as much as heterosexual whites, since libraries are not open at night. It brings me great satisfaction and joy each time a politician, media pundit, or purported “extremism expert” makes some version of the claim that “White Nationalism is the greatest threat to the United States” or “White Nationalism is the biggest danger to ‘Our Democracy.’” What these individuals really mean, of course, is that White Nationalism poses the greatest threat to the legitimacy of the current regime and to their own power and prestige.
