One of the most problematic aspects of the trans movement, largely ignored by the mainstream media, is the sale of “DIY HRT”: Do It Yourself Hormone Replacement Therapy. This involves the illegal trafficking of hormones by trans activists and online pharmacies. The rate of DIY HRT use varies depending on country and age group, but it is extremely common. A survey showed that 49.1% of transwomen living in San Francisco use DIY HRT.[1] Similar data from the UK shows that 31% of British transgenders choose to take illegal, unprescribed hormones.
Many who get caught up in this trade are minors:
Maria*, whose teenage daughter bought testosterone online and, later, from a drug dealer, said hormones should not be given without a prescription…
Maria added her daughter had since detransitioned. “The thing is, my daughter has been left with permanent physical damage from the testosterone that she took illegally off prescription – permanent damage that will never resolve, that she’s got to live with for the rest of her life.[2]
Cases like this don’t surprise me at all. A vast subculture centered around illegal hormones exists, hidden in plain sight, and these substances are heavily promoted to teens. There are over 102k members—and 25k weekly visitors—of Reddit’s “TransDIY” sub. Members share links to online businesses that provide sex hormones, anti-androgens, domperidone (a note next to this item states “Do not use for breast growth, useful to induce lactation.”[3]) and GnRH agonists. The latter class of drugs are used to shut down hormone production and are colloquially known as puberty blockers.[4] This is an example of one of these sites:
Other dealers sell their products on Discord servers or at real life meet-ups. They frame DIY HRT as cooler than legal HRT (which is easier to get than ever before but less “rebellious”). One member of the r/Detrans subreddit described his experiences with adults who encourage minors to use DIY hormones:
It’s almost seen as a badge of honour to be doing DIY. It’s pushed by a lot of the self appointed “trans mothers” who have assumed an “elder” role within the community most of whom are (unsurprisingly) AGP. They get off on being “in charge” and looked to for advice and knowledge, they love the power they have over the inexperienced young ones. These are the kinds of “transwomen” who first encouraged me to transition all those years ago with their zealous “transition or suicide” rhetoric. Back when I was actually part of the community I used to butt heads with these people all the time, I felt a degree of responsibility to do damage control and provide contradictory advice to all the young ones they’d encouraged to DIY. I ended up giving up and departing from the community altogether as it became obvious I was vastly outnumbered by nutjobs and narcissists, and I couldn’t stomach the level of delusion that so many people were exuding and trying to justify as legitimate.[5]
His story is quite typical. Many detransitioners have spoken out about the widespread promotion of DIY hormones to minors, but they have been ignored by America’s mainstream media.
It would be extremely easy for the Trump Administration, conservative activists, and local law enforcement to begin rectifying this situation. Testosterone is a Schedule III drug, and it is a felony to sell it without a prescription.[6] There is already a precedent for arresting those who break controlled substance laws and illegally sell anabolic steroids.[7] While estrogen is not regulated as strictly as testosterone, it is still a prescription drug. This means that selling it violates state laws and can result in prison sentences.
An additional list of laws being broken, not including those directly covering the sale of illegal substances, includes:
- Violation of the Travel Act (18 U.S.C. § 1952) by sending illegal goods across state lines. This is a felony which can result in a 5-year prison sentence.[8]
- Violation of State Department of Health Laws that ban the practice of medicine without a license.
- Customs Fraud, which may be enforced either through 19 U.S.C. 1592 or through the False Claims Act (FCA). The financial penalties imposed upon those who are found to violate the latter are substantial: an offender can be fined between $14,308 to $28,619 per violation.[9]
- Violation of USCBP Rules regarding HS Codes. As of September 2025, all small parcels imported to the United States must declare an accurate Harmonized System Code. DIY Hormone sellers use false HS codes to import their goods.
- Violation of 21 U.S. Code § 841 which covers, “(A)delivering, distributing, or dispensing a controlled substance by means of the Internet by an online pharmacy that is not validly registered…”[10]
Using existing laws to stop the sale of DIY Hormones would help protect vulnerable young people and, at the same time, deal a huge blow to the most militant members of “Trantifa.” Discord hormone jockeys are often radical activists who use their profits to promote trans and Antifa ideology.
There is also anecdotal evidence that pro-trans medical professionals may be involved in this trade. The website DIYHRT.Market, which sells a wide variety of hormones, casually mentions that “homebrew” drugs are being manufactured by those with ties to the medical industry:
Homebrew drugs are manufactured by individuals or small groups of trans people looking to do their part to help the community.
[…]the most trusted suppliers are eminently educated on these subjects often working in or adjacent to the pharmaceutical industry, or at the very least operating on guidance from others who are.[11]
Similar claims exist on Reddit’s TransDIY sub. It might be more than a sales tactic. An investigation of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health showed numerous violations of medical ethics by ideologically driven pro-trans doctors, including attempts to skirt the law.[12] My personal belief is that there are likely individuals working at gender clinics who illegally provide trans activists with hard-to-find drugs like puberty blockers. My brief investigation into this issue showed that a DIY seller known as Open Gate Labs claims to privately manufacture a GnRH agonist called Relugolix:[13]
This drug only hit the American market in 2019. Very few people know how to produce it, and I’m skeptical of the idea that a clique of trans activists are making it in a suburban basement. It seems more logical to assume that medical professionals (aka the suppliers who are “working in or adjacent to the pharmaceutical industry”) are involved in providing Relugolix to Open Gate Labs. That might sound like a big claim, but I think it’s very plausible. I wouldn’t put it past a certain number of pro-trans doctors to get involved in the DIY trade and pocket the cash.
This needs to be investigated. A massive, illegal drug trade is being conducted, largely in plain view, and dealers are openly selling to minors whom they “guide” via Discord servers and Reddit DMs. We need to determine exactly who is involved and stop this.
It is time for the Trump administration to close businesses that illegally sell hormones, arrest local dealers, close Discord servers and related sites in which minors are groomed into taking body altering substances, and determine whether ideologically driven medical professionals are involved in this trade.
We already have the laws and historical precedent to do this. It’s time to act.

I haven’t got a lot of time now, but just throw in it’s a good investigation into this topic.
People who followed the bodybuilding scene in the past must be extremely puzzled watching all this unfold. It seems very surreal, that these drugs are suddenly repurposed for this new identity fad.
Anyone who’s used these drugs for performance purposes, male or female, understands very well how they don’t make you a different sex in that way. Even with men, they get this estrogen rebound thing from using a lot of test, or they use drugs intended for women to control side effects from steroid use, like clomid and so on, and then complain of feeling sad or moody or overly emotional. But they are still men.
It’s not like we don’t know what happens, and suddenly the trannyism cult ‘decided’ what this meant. What happens is you flood one being with set of hormones, you now have a ‘hormoneized’ being for the duration the drugs are taken, with some more lasting side effects in women, but no one in that transaction has transformed their sex at all, or really become closer to it.
The other issue is in old days, even on the black market, people got prescription grade injectable testosterone or other steroids, today, these drugs are made in a bathtub in Asia from Chinese raw materials. Nobody really knows what’s in them. The quality, the dosing varies a hell of a lot.
But yeah, it’s absolutely sick, this social cesspit going on, on reddit, tumblr, tiktok directed towards a young and vulnerable cohort pushing this.
And sure the dosing is different, but you didn’t never get that in the bodybuilding or sports performance world with these drugs. They were treated very differently. They were something for consenting adults who accepted the risks, and younger people were discouraged from experimenting with them.
Also drug availablity online has exploded in the last ten years. You can get anything you want online now, which is another issue.
Something about this reminds me of the way that American suburbanites pack their lawns with all sorts of chemicals. Not enough to have some grass, but it’s got to be unnaturally grasslike grass. Can’t just have nature take its course and have fey homos, or butch looking lesbians no no no. Not good enough American consumer; you have to have plastic homosexuals hooked on designer modified biochemical treatments.

That many of these trantifa individuals are rumored to possess illegal firearms in conjunction with illegal drugs makes it all the sweeter. This isn’t legal advice, but that’s a big no no under federal law.

Illicit drug manufacturer and distribution is coming from online drug dealers essentially, they have their own supply chains, and they may sell under different names for different niches and outlets internationally.
The experimental drug mentioned… this is the kind of thing that one can source from China. China make a lot of raw materials that constitute this stuff, including exotic molecules. China doesn’t care what it sells to the West, even legally, never mind illegally. And what it sells is inferior and has a lot of shortcuts in manufacture.

Typically, I tune out longer comments. The comments section, in my opinion, is a place for terser statements. That’s subjective, and there are exceptions (sometimes I write longer comments myself, like this one), but that doesn’t change the fact that I tend to pass over them, as a general rule. Also, there is only so much time in my day, just like in yours, presumably. So the idea of exhaustively replying to every comment that deals with a subject that another comment has compelled me to comment about is not reasonable.
Your own comment got my attention because it was short/shorter, firstly. But not just that, obviously. You said, “Great article, but [emphasis added] the jews are behind this.”
My opinion is that the article is a great article, no “but” about it. The implication of your comment is clearly that the article is lacking because Brooke didn’t mention Jews. You have that opinion, and expect everyone to respect it, but guess what? I have an opinion about your opinion, and opted to express it. That’s the way it works. The difference between your comment and kolokol’s comment, besides length, is that kolokol’s didn’t directly “demote” the article. This is a hot-button for me, and who I call JQ Fetishists are the worst offenders; they love doing that. I mentioned credibility earlier; you dismissed the notion of credibility, as if we’re all just here to shit-talk in anonymity, but I think credibility is massively important. It might look more virile ─ assuming that Arnold Schwarzenegger physiques are more aesthetic than freakish, but it is anything but.
I recall that the jocks when I was in school were not too interested in using anabolic steroids simply because the drug shrunk the testes and caused sperm counts to crash, and these were just the beginning of the side effects.

Awhile back, edgy podcasters were getting a lot of truck endlessly repeating that the nation’s Opioid Crisis was the fault of the Sacklers. Striker over at TRS then was really clutching the pearls.
Well, the Sacklers did overmarket their pharmaceutical wares to some extent after some notable medical and drug breakthroughs in other areas using those tactics ─ and they certainly engaged in some unethical pharmaceutical practices with their propriety drug of Oxycontin, so I don’t care if they do pay hefty fines. Good.
But, as I tried to point out, the active ingredient in Oxycontin is Oxycodone, which was invented in Germany in 1913 and used heavily since World War I. It is a miracle drug, truly, but it never did very much for me personally.
I was unable to reason about these conspiracy theories with some of our least intellectually-gifted comrades over at TRS ─ i.e., that the real problem, the “Crisis,” was Chinese Fentanyl coming across the unsecured Border. That was why so many people were overdosing and dying.
The best they could do was get an old Boomer like me from their Amen Corner to have an Is-Too/Is-Not exchange (that TRS eventually deleted) on their BANG forum, which is available only to subscribers. I presented a lot of evidence, not merely anecdotal evidence as he claimed. He presented no evidence whatsoever. (To his credit, the debater is a decent guy from Texas, formerly Los Angeles, who actually does have a college degree ─ unlike most of the Death Panel.) And Sven was triumphant!
The TRS-ers were just firmly wedded to the “Redneck Genocide Theory” courtesy of the Sacklers. (I think Moike did back off on that theory a bit, however.)
This venue at Counter-Currents probably already knows that I advise caution with the use of the Jewish term “Genocide” in general, as it was intended to cause problems since the day of its coinage.
Anyway, the more important fallout from the bullshït Opioid Crisis was not a crackdown on fentanyl and the Border, but the spate of kneejerk laws passed in most states that makes it damn near impossible now to get a fücking legitimate chronic pain prescription from a competent doctor.
At best you can go to the licensed Pajeet Pain Clinic and jump through a lot of hoops including regular mandatory drug testing like some junkie. (The Swamis at least have some understanding of what is going on and want to help you.)
As someone who was critically injured by a drunk driver running a red light, I have much personal experience with this.
And just for the record, I have not been on any opioids for many, many years. But I, and many people like me, are paying the price.

But I have read in countless health books and heard in Women’s Studies courses taught by Jews that during the Vietnam War there were lots of U.S. soldiers going to the Jewish battalion surgeon for the circular snip because they were embarrassed at how they looked (uncircumcized) in the communal shower.

I think only about half of my nephews were subjected to infant circumcision, but I don’t really know since that is not a Thanksgiving Day topic of conversation, LOL. There is a famous legend that during WWII the Nazis were able to find and round-up Jewish children hiding in Catholic orphanages in France because they were the only boys circumcised. Dear Mr. Kirkpatrick, as a hyper-JQ person myself, I wish to field your concern. One does not have to be a Jew to be Jew-ish. And in the United States, very sadly, there are far more Gentiles that act Jewish, than actual Jews, who act Jewish. Liberalism/feminism, for example, is very emotional, Jewish, & crippling long-term ideology that spread like wildfire to derail a solid 20% of White American voters.
Another example, of why we need to be extra mindful of creeping Judeo-communism is that there are WAY more Christian (Israel-first) Zionists in the United States than there are Jewish Israel-first Zionists in the United States.

Kim, my conscience compels me to speak out (and, to be clear, I’m not an editor here). I think the strategy you’ve described is fetishistic and ends up harming efforts to accomplish what you ostensibly care about: improving the lot of whites.
How does it harm? One, it undermines our credibility. Two, it calls into question our objectivity. Three, it sows confusion/lies.
The following are some responses I’d imagine in thought bubbles over the heads of those whom we’d convince to see straight, racially speaking, when confronted with hyper-JQ talking points.
Credibility: “How can I take someone seriously who would have me believe that blacks, for example, or white liberals, or Muslims would stop causing problems if the Jew went away? That’s goofy! I asked him to explain, but he couldn’t. He just kept talking more about the Jews.”
Objectivity: “Wow, this guy shoehorns ‘the Jews’ into everything. I’ll bet he managed to mention them in his wedding vows. He’s clearly got a personal bone to pick to a degree that precludes clear-sightedness. How can I trust someone like that to judge them accurately?”

Hmm, I admit I was unfamiliar with the book by Otto Weininger (1880 -1903), Sex and Character: A Fundamental Investigation, until now. I just read a brief synopsis on wiki. In several respects he is like the Bobby Fischer of his day. Thanks James, my goal for the article was just to give readers a brief introduction to the subculture of illegal DIY HRT & point out that, by using existing laws, many of the Trantifa activists involved in this trade could be sent to prison. There are a lot of other trans related issues that could be discussed but it isn’t feasible to talk about everything in a single piece.
The community DIY HRT wikipedia had, until very recently, advice for minors looking to transition. Telling the readers to get a “trusted adult”, or to use bitcoin.
Many of these backyard hormone operations are clearly marketing to children and are fetishizing their product. Otokonoko Pharmaceuticals, some Brazilian DIY hormone operation, has anime girls all over their website. And on the Estradiol they ship out there’s a half naked, highly sexualized anime girl on the box, and there’s the caption “keep out of reach of parents”. Many of the scantily-clad anime girls on the product blur over into the territory of possibly being underage representations of girls, and they are captioned saying highly sexualized phrases. But like with everything the transgender community seems to do, there’s plausible deniability there again as to whether these are actually representations of children.
I did some trawling for commentary on transgender communities, and apparently these companies don’t do any proper safety checks on who they sell to. I don’t really think you can write off the boxart and caption as a “joke”, which is what Otokonoko Pharmaceuticals does (“DISCLAIMER: We do not sell or agree to the resale of our products to minors. our packaging are just jokes and shouldn’t be taken seriously” is right on their homepage). There wasn’t really any ethical concerns either, the transgender community just talks about “optics” and a potential blowback from normal people. It’s actually wild how white nationalists are so paranoid about optics for discussing rational ideas, while transgender individuals pretty much openly discuss grooming and selling drugs to children.
Transgender types have an incentive to go after the youth because they perceive there’s an ideal window for transitioning, and as close to the start of puberty you get to, the better you “pass”. They don’t even register it as grooming, instead it’s a morally righteous crusade to let people choose their own puberty. You’ll never get them to stop, and you do have to forcefully dismantle these illicit drug networks.

As for the ideal window to transition concept, that isn’t going to end so well. When a guy gets sex change surgery, it basically involves hollowing out his penis and tucking it inside the groin. There are a lot of problems with that, but it’s much worse if he gets a sex change before he’s fully developed. Then there will only be a stubby little boy’s dick to turn inside out, which won’t be the least bit functional. One very famous figure, who basically got pushed into it from an early age and put in the public spotlight, found this out the hard way.

Woe to the family member who has their television set turned on when I am a guest.
