Azzmador, RIP

Word broke on Telegram on Tuesday morning that Alt Right icon Robert Ray, aka Azzmador, passed away shortly after a disturbing post complaining about excruciating pain in his legs.
One could argue that Azzmador qualifies as a martyr to the White Nationalist cause because the only reason that he was unable to seek proper medical care was because he had been a fugitive of the law since August 2017, when he maced an antifa activist in self-defense at the Charlottesville tiki torch march.
Azzmador was a last-minute addition to the Unite the Right speakers list. The Daily Stormer was initially considered too hot for Charlottesville, but pressure mounted within the Alt Right that they be included. It was eventually agreed that the Stormer would be represented at Charlottesville by writer and podcaster Azzmador. Azzzmador had some experience in real-life activism with his local Stormer Book Clubs. At one famous event, Azzmador took the Texas Book Club to a university where anarchists were teaching a class on punching Nazis. Once confronted by real Nazis, the students hid under their desks.
In the end, no one got to give a speech at Unite the Right, although Azzmador did do a podcast at Charlottesville that, for that time, was monumental. The story goes that the evening after the event, Azzmador met up with some friends from a Québécois White Nationalist outfit. Azzmador then got a call on his phone from Eli Mosley. Mosely told Azzmador that Richard “Cluster B” Spencer was having a party at his place, and that he wanted Azzmador to attend. Azzmador asked Mosley if he could bring his friends to the party. Mosley informed Azzmador that he could not, as his party was for the Alt Right “elite” only. Azzmador then instructed Mosley to tell Spencer to go fuck himself. Years later, Spencer singled out Azzmador in a CNN interview with Elle Reeve, describing him as “disgusting.”
Azzmador decided to have his own party with his own non-elite friends, when who should walk through the door than Rebel Media reporter Faith Goldy. Azzmador, Andrew Anglin, Chris Cantwell, Johnny Monoxide, and Faith Goldy proceeded to record a podcast together. It ended up getting Goldy fired from Rebel Media. She ended up defecting to the Alt Right, said the 14 Words on Millenniyule, found her way to VDare, and even got mentioned onstage by Morrissey.

Today we have Candace Owens naming the Jew and Charlie Kirk talking about white identity, so all of this might not seem that important. But in 2017, when dissident Right ideas were far more socially radioactive, having someone as “mainstream” as Faith Goldy defect to our side was considered a major coup. All of this was largely brought about by Azzmador’s refusal to go to Richard Spencer’s party.
Ironically, Richard Spencer’s party that night would become famous in its own right, as it was where Richard Spencer delivered his iconic, cocaine-fueled “fruitcake freakout” speech wherein he declared himself ruler of the world. In terms of whose party had a more positive impact on the movement, I think we can say Azzmador wins the prize.
Azzmador ended up being prosecuted for the Charlottesville pepper-spray incident. In his wayward youth, he had spent some time in prison and vowed never to return. Rather than surrendering to authorities, he thus chose a life on the run. For the next seven years, until his passing, he remained continually on the run.
Azzmador ceased writing for the already legally-besieged Daily Stormer shortly after Charlottesville and dropped off many people’s radar around that time. What many might not know is that he never actually left. While he disengaged from the broader movement and podcast circuit, he continued as an independent on alt tech platforms such as DLive, Odyssee, and Rumble. He was also active on Gab, and accumulated a cult following among groypers to go along with his OG fans from his Alt Right days.
It was during this later period that I began regularly listening to Azzmador. I had been aware of him during his Alt Right days, but at the time he seemed to be another edgelord in a sea of edgelords — the primary difference being his instantly-recognizable good ol’ boy accent. After Charlottesville, he adopted a more personable and friendly persona. He talked more about his life and things he’s experienced, such as his time in prison (he advised against joining the Aryan Brotherhood) and the weirdos he had encountered working in a porn shop in his twenties. But although he found fame on the Internet, Azzmador’s first foray into politics was local activism, where he and his band of merrymakers had become a thorn in the side of city hall.
Charlottesville changed him. As he explained on one of his streams, it made him realize “that it can’t all be a big joke all of the time.” Once he was independent and no longer representing a brand, he was under no obligation to “stay on brand” and was freer to be himself.
Azzmador’s roots were in writing and podcasting, but livestreaming was where he was most talented. As a gentleman of the old school, Azzmador was committed keeping the spirit of radio alive in the Internet age. He frequently stressed that he did not “do podcasts”; he “did radio.” His show, Krypto Report, was livestreamed in the style of FM talk radio, with regular musical breaks and audience call-ins. Azzmador scraped together just enough money from his superchats not to starve to death. In 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center was kvetching about him allegedly making $5,000 on Odysee. Azzmador joked about surviving on canned beans,
Azzmador’s years after Charlottesville may have been few in number, and 57 is too young to be dying of natural causes. But we can take comfort in the fact that he died a free man. How much more crushing would it have been had he died in prison? Could you imagine the anti-whites’ laughter? By going on the run and evading the Eye of ZOG to his dying breath, Azzmador deprived the Jews of that victory.

The passing of a great man.
I Have been listening to the Krypto report for years. Learned something every time. Even started appreciating Blue Oyster Cult. Nordic Frost’s show, and the Infostormer I know specifically because of him. The guy was funny and brought me joy. It feels like I lost a brother I never was able to meet in person. It was a blow to learn of his passing on the infostormer. But I know that because of his work and example, more will step forward to take his place.

Yes, but I never heard anything about them concerning Jewish activism= anti white parasitism. They were desactivated Jews, it seems, and they created some iconic music. ” Don’t fear the reaper ” is considered nihilistic, but is it because they were Jews ? Anyway, the reaper is a cult Classic.
Yes, and don’t care. Always best to know who you are dealing with, but these fellows don’t seem to be cyphers hoisted on us with the usual “Jewpotism” by the self-admiration society manipulators of success. I don’t consider myself a bad Aryan for liking their music and neither did Azzmador.
Fair enough. I don’t really care either. Their good songs in my mind are don’t fear the reaper, burnin for you, Godzilla, and veteran of the psychic wars(from the heavy metal soundtrack). Is there any particular album you would put above the others? The single cover art for burnin for you has some interesting visual symbology I think. It comes up on pandora from time to time. What does the snake and oyster represent?

Reaper gets overplayed. Cities on flames, and black blade. Me 262 seemed like a weird choice for them but a lot of jews are into National Socialist themes. The only National Socialist race-based state in the world today seems to be Isreal.

Very sad. Was the cause of death a blood clot? I agree about his martyrdom, but why couldn’t he have just gone to an ER and pretended NOT to speak English – like millions of illegal aliens do? Or say he was robbed, give a false name, get treated (as ERs must do), and then flee the scene?
This whole story just stinks. Charlottesville may have been bad optics, but even liberals should be concerned about the weaponization of the law by one side. At least now pretty much everyone understands “lawfare” and the complete leftist/woke takeover of all American institutions. Even the Wall Street Journal, that bastion of every so respectable and cowardly conservatism, complains about it.

Not sure about that. I’m no expert, but do PAD symptoms just come on suddenly like that – and then kill you within a day or so? I don’t think so.
I was thinking the same as you, but I know someone whose father died in exactly the same circumstances as this man : horrible pain in his legs, forcing himself to go for a walk in his garden, 10 minutes later found dead in the grass. But it’s true that the opinion of a health specialist would be helpful.
Could it have been deep venous thrombosis? Clots form in the legs and then go into the lungs. It’s like a heart attack of the lung, which you need to breathe. It’s a not uncommon cause of sudden death in people who are bedridden. My uncle died of that. The legs become very swollen and inflamed first.
Agree. Diseases of the arteries cause all kinds of severe problems.
Gangrene, blood clots, heart failure. Unfortunately, this man, persecuted by the system in place, did not receive the necessary medical attention, which no doubt hastened his death.
There may be clues in that it was both legs simultaneously. DVT blood clot would not be both sides simultaneously.
Maybe a clot in a major central artery or some sort of dissection/tear, herniated spine (might lead to paralysis not death unless infection related or couldn’t get to water), endocarditis with bacterial emboli going to the legs followed by sepsis…. hard to say.
Azzmador is best known to the public for howling, “Race war now!” and “Gas the kikes!” at Unite the Right. I followed him on-line a bit both before & after Charlottesville, & those six words pretty much sum up his overall message.

But Azzmador was a toxic influence, a bad leader, & not a martyr – rather a dysfunctional failure.

But I always liked Azzmador whenever I listened to his podcasts, always avuncular ─ though he was a bit younger than me ─ a fine White voice from “Tahhler” (Tyler), Texas. RIP.
If Azzmador was reduced to eating nothing but peas and beans, I wonder if he was chronically suffering from gout, that old disease of the royalty and elder statesmen.
I do have a great deal of admiration for the people who did the Tiki Torch march in 2017 at Marse Jefferson’s University of Virginia. And I rather like the optics that I have seen from it.
That being said, George Lincoln Rockwell cautioned against so much as using a placard at demonstrations that even a had wooden stake to hold it, lest Commie attorneys and the usual suspects argue in court that the signs were weapons for beating the Antifa and race-mixing rabble into the next Shoahcaust.
The Commander advised in the 1960s that demonstrations of our free-speech be filmed in Super 8 by citizen observers for the purposes of future legal evidence. Probably lawfare going forward is going to be the key to this thing.
I wondered about the 2017 UofV Tiki torches at the time, although the flash-mob Tiki torch-lit aesthetic was certainly cool.
Maybe it might be possible in the future to create paper “torches” that cannot be used as “clubs,” and with a harmless cheap LED flashlight symbolizing the illuminating and cleansing flames?
The best weapons for political warfare are ideological and rhetorical but effectively triggering AF for the enemy, as long as this cannot legally be construed in a court of law as involving actual weapons.
And by triggering to them, what I mean is that this comes with the “incitement” caveat that we are the reasonable side ─ the ones that are just having picnics and discussions with decent White people and their children sans the usual infinity criminal hordes.
They hate that ─ which is why you seldom see such a thing on mainstream media any longer, and now exclusively get infinite “Diversity” in infinite combinations, and resistance-is-futile. We need to learn rhetorical ways to make “infinity triggers” counteract what rhymes with something else.

It’s sad news. I used to listen to Krypto Report for years when he was still associated with The Daily Stormer. He had a lot of knowledge on various subjects – not just white nationalism.

Glad to see this here. And I certainly appreciate the solidarity expressed in the article. Azzmador did what was right by refusing to give himself up. And I’m glad to see-for once-the movement not he tearing down a recently deceased member. I certainly hope he’s in a better place now. Wherever it is, I doubt it’s worse than here.

Really sad to ear of his passing. I listen occasionally to his Krypto Report which was extremely entertaining and informative. I did no know he was hiding from persecution and was not able to seek medical attention, he did not bitch about it on the shows. Unbeliveable. You don’t have to agree 1000% with his views to admit he was brave and a hero for his vocal and first person activism, that made him an easy target of the jewdicial system. RIP
