Beginning in 2024, on the first Saturday of each month (whenever possible), the Counter-Currents Radio livestream will be devoted to the new Counter-Currents Book Club. Each stream will be devoted to a particular book from Counter-Currents or allied publishers. Each stream will be hosted by Greg Johnson. We will try to have the author or at least the editor or translator of each book on as a guest, plus two to three other panelists. The panelists will discuss each book and take questions from the audience.
In order to give everyone adequate time to read the books, we will announce titles as far in advance as possible.
- January 13: Jonathan Bowden, The Cultured Thug
- February 3: Greg Johnson, The Trial of Socrates
- March 2: F. Roger Devlin, Sexual Utopia in Power (with F. Roger Devlin)
- April 6: Greg Johnson, Against Imperialism
- May 11: To be decided
- June 1: The Centennial Edition of Francis Parker Yockey’s Imperium
- July 6: Collin Cleary, Wagner’s Ring and the Germanic Tradition
- August 3: To be decided
- September 7: Charles Krafft, An Artist of the Right
- October 5: To be decided
- November 2: To be decided
- December 7: To be decided
Livestreams start at noon Pacific, 3pm Eastern Standard Time, 8pm UK time, and 9pm Central European Time on:

Love this
Yes, may it be even more successful than Oprah’s!
Thank you! This is a fantastic idea. One of the things I appreciate most about Counter-Currents is the way that it has introduced me to great books which I would never have discovered otherwise.
Hmm, I would suggest perhaps some more core dissident right topics, like maybe some Kevin macdonald or Jared Taylor. Some more core philosophy like Cicero or Seneca. Perhaps something fictional but on topic.
Specifically I started reading the populist delusion by parvenu and found it interesting. The New Machiavellians by Burnham might be good too.
Put some novels in there, too.
This is a great idea. I look forward to the successful launch of our C-C Book Club. I had the first two books already sitting in my cart, this announcement prompted me to finally hit the purchase button!
Sounds great, I’ll try to participate as much as possible.
Another promising idea. 2-3, 3-2, 5-4, and 7-6 all appeal to me. Not sure about the first selection, however – an anthology of Bowden’s runs all over the place. Hard to pin down a theme. But it could be fun to listen in. Will questions be ‘live’ somehow, or are previously submitted emails encouraged?
Questions can be live or emailed in advance.
