Throughout Africa, there is a clear appreciation for China’s growing economic engagement. From infrastructure development to investment in key industries, African leaders largely see China not as a neo-colonial threat but as a partner in development. This pragmatic approach contrasts sharply with the selective moral outrage often directed at Western nations, particularly the United Kingdom.
Africa has a complex history of participation in the global slave trade. Africans and Caribbean elites in the Commonwealth frequently insist on reparations from Britain, yet they rarely, if ever, extend the same scrutiny to other actors in the history of slavery, including China. Historical records show that black slaves were brought into China, often procured through Arab intermediaries. Yet this part of history does not figure in contemporary African political grievance. The focus remains squarely on Britain and other Western nations, which reflects a pattern of anti-white politics that has become increasingly visible in African and Commonwealth discourse.
African descendants of slaveowners are under no societal pressure to feel guilty about the past in the way British descendants of slaveowners sometimes do. Pride in one’s heritage is acknowledged and celebrated. As His Royal Highness Etubom Eyo Ekpenyong Eyo Honesty II, a descendant of King Eyo Honesty, explains:
We are the fourth generation of Eyo Honesty II. He was a great man in all meaning of the word. At that time, he had 1,000 big boats as well as workers and slaves under him. With the boats, he transported his farm produce and slaves. He was a major force. One thing that was conspicuous about him was his truthfulness and kindness, which endeared him to the white men[…] Nobody should feel pained or be angry with the Eyo Honesty dynasty over the slave trade; perchance their forebears were affected. We should not be misunderstood when we say we are proud. Slave trade was a major business at that time. We are proud on one hand because apart from the pain of slave trade, he opened up Creek Town, which is the root of the Efik nation and cradle of Black civilisation.
Africa is not asking for moral apologies from China and does not insist on historical guilt as a condition for investment. In contrast, reparations campaigns against Western nations ignore the decades of aid and opportunities extended to African nations and people of African descent. Over the last thirty years, Africa has received over one trillion dollars in aid from Western institutions. Universities in the United Kingdom, including Cambridge and Glasgow, maintain scholarship programs explicitly for Africans and the diaspora. Many even sponsor research projects to uncover and examine their historical role in slavery. Yet African states that actively participated in the slave trade are not expected to fund or sponsor any research into their own past. This selective approach underscores a growing pattern of anti-white politics.
The United Kingdom should ignore these requests from African leaders. Africa has already received immense support through aid, educational opportunities, and access to scholarship programs that benefit both African nations and the diaspora. Political leaders who leverage history selectively to advance anti-white agendas are using moral claims as a tool for opportunistic politics rather than genuine historical reckoning. Britain is under no obligation to participate in this charade. The UK’s priority should remain its own citizens and strategic objectives, not the appeasement of African leaders pursuing an anti-white political agenda.

This writer is behind the times, anti-white politics has been the dominant pattern for the last 125 years. Slavery was practiced in Africa long before the White man came along—it was the coin of the realm. 🙃
I m seeing English language Chinese News videos documenting extremely violent anti Chinese protests , uprisings in African countries such as Angola and Mali :

Another good example is the documentary Empire of Dust. It is on YouTube and CC has an article about it on this website. It’s a good example of what Chinese firms have to deal with when they attempt a construction project in parts of Africa. In that particular documentary, the Chinese construction company has difficulty completing its project in The Congo because of laziness, apathy, and theft from the local Congolese employees. It was meant to be a documentary, but it ends up being a comedy. It’ pretty funny and shows the difficulty that China has trying to expand into Africa.
It’s less about being anti-White than it is about the money. China bribes the leaders and will withhold the money if blacks gripe, so they don’t. They know Whites will pay when they gripe so they do. They don’t really care about slavery only what approach to take, to get money.
Only parasites demand reparations for slavery. Only suckers pay them. We owe nothing to any blacks demanding reparations.
They should pay us reparations for bringing them here. Their markers are much better in the United States than in any other country. I don’t see any of them trying to get back to Africa or any other country for that matter!
What is it with this insatiable need the Chinese have for “medicines” from body parts of all sorts of animals, often critically endangered animals like tigers? And also elephant tusks to make elaborate carvings. I think this is one of the major reasons for their expansion and investment in Africa. It’s freakishly wrong.
You’re right. It’s weird that many Chinese require “medicines” (often aphrodisiacs) from the body parts of exotic animals. And they like to eat exotic and disgusting animals, such as bats. Bats! Who wants to eat bats? Vampires?
Better to be a vegetarian. Healthier, and less disgusting.
Global South eat “jungle meats” for proteins, but some Chinese is far beyond it. They only eat them for myths and tales, which makes them much more absurd than Others.
Whether a meatless diet is healthier or not depends on the details; look at Adolf H’s version of vegetarianism. Horrible, way too much sugar, insufficient protein, etc. – from what I read hither and yon, anyway. No wonder he went berserk, though his mental derangement might also have been due to the injection of a “vitamin mix” which was apparently not vitamins at all, intended to cure his multiple health issues. Vegetarians-vegans always have “Hitler was a vegetarian!”shoved into our faces by corpse-eaters, even if we’ve been at it 40 years since our teens and still able to walk, talk and chew gum with minimal or no medical input.
However, “less disgusting”, as you say, is on-target. The Chinese eating bats is the least of it and you know all that already. As a little bonus, you should see the ingredients of a few of the “traditional” Chinese herbal formulas. My favorite example is Wu Ling Zhi – Trogopterus Dung, easily available in good old Amurrika. SMH.
The business of White people is taking care of White people. Participating in antiwhite narratives is bad and it should never be done. Giving away the resources of White people to non-Whites is bad and this also should not be done. Institutions that want to do this do not represent the best interests of White people and should be shut down.
What Asians do in Black countries is no concern of ours.
I agree, but keep in mind what some of these institutions are, such as the military and various federal agencies. If a Democrat gets back in office during the next election, will these institutions return to a Cultural Marxist mindset with DEI and struggle sessions for whites? Military recruitment during Biden’s term plummeted, much of it was due to this anti-white political indoctrination. Did the military leadership learn any lessons from that? Will the federal agencies that were exposed this year for corruption go back to their old ways and start funneling money to parts of Africa to finance various scams? If another Republican gets elected after Trump, will he continue the same policies that Trump has enacted, or will he be asleep at the wheel and focus on business issues while the Democrats start sending money to Africa and other places again to fund illegal schemes? We will have to be vigilant about these issues.
Black people in China are called “Kunlun slaves”, and they were castrated by Arabic slave traders before sold. Because of the taxes and morality, Chinese dynasties didn’t want to slaughter Arabic societies, but rebel forces like to slaughter foreigners in every rebellions, so they couldn’t survive for centuries.
This reminds me of the climate change racket. Demand billions from western states and line the pockets of the corrupt leaders of Africa. You can deal with your alleged problems on your own.
Judge Holden in Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian says, “The slaver. He is the lowest form of life on earth.” It’s fiction but the context was the slaver- coyote hermit was a couple dozen years after abolition. I wonder if the idea was widespread in the Antebellum epoch or if it’s generally made up.
