Some Thoughts on Incels

F. Roger Devlin

2,465 words

I intensely dislike the neologism “incel,” a portmanteau term for involuntary celibate. It seems to me an entirely unnecessary synonym for what has always been called a “bachelor,” or unmarried man. Growing up in a vestigially Christian society, I learned the faith’s traditional teaching about sexual morality: one could either get married or remain celibate, with either being a legitimate choice. Most men and women, of course, prefer to get married. English-speaking peoples of past generations liked to quote a saying of Dr. Samuel Johnson: “Marriage has many pains, but celibacy has no pleasures.” A twenty-first century reader may need to have it pointed out that Johnson was not primarily thinking of sexual pleasure, although that may have been included in his meaning. Mainly he was thinking of the joys of domestic life, companionship between husband and wife, and the satisfactions of parenthood.

If you ask the two sexes about the relative merits of celibacy and marriage, you will not find many young women who do not wish to get married. Young men are sometimes not so sure about the matter, despite men’s sexual desires (in the straightforward sense of desire for the act of coitus) being stronger than women’s. Why aren’t all young men happy to declare at once their desire for marriage the same way women are?

Because men know marriage involves responsibility. It places heavy demands on them to provide for their families. They must hustle to get and hold down a job they may not even like, work hard at it, and always stay a step ahead of the competition from other men who might wish to take it from them. And their wives may not even appreciate their efforts. Perhaps it is understandable for a young man to hesitate before strapping himself into this harness. Perhaps he has doubts about whether the woman will be faithful to him, especially in an age with a very high divorce rate driven overwhelmingly by the fickleness of the supposedly “naturally monogamous” sex. Indeed, in view of this last circumstance, a better question might be to ask why there are any men left who will commit. At the moment, some men are still willing to risk marriage, although I am not sure for how much longer this is going to continue.

Obviously, despite grooms getting “cold feet” just before the wedding (once a popular subject for jokes), most men and women over the course of history have eventually gotten married. Voluntary celibacy is real, and the Church has always considered it a legitimate choice, but it is only suitable for a minority of men and women. The Catholic Church describes it as a special calling.

Now let us get back to incels. Within the terms of traditional Christian sexual morality just described, an incel is simply a man who would like to find a woman, but who has not yet done so. As noted above, he is what used to be called a bachelor. Some woman might still choose him, but so far none has. So why did this seemingly pointless neologism suddenly appear a few years ago?

It emerged among young adult men observing the American sexual scene around them and commenting upon it mainly in online chat forums. These men were too young to remember what I have called the “more sex hoax” of the 1970s, when the amount of sex available to men was falsely reported and widely believed to have dramatically increased. These younger men do not get their ideas about what is happening around them from decades-old rumors, but from what they actually see. And what they see is young women competing over a minority of highly attractive men.

As I have explained repeatedly and at length elsewhere, this is what always happens when monogamy breaks down. It is essentially identical to what naturalists observe in wild primate packs in which the males compete to ascend the dominance hierarchy while females compete to mate at the top of that hierarchy—except that female monkeys, being without the faculty of speech, cannot complain about how unfair the whole process is to them. (“Why won’t that alpha baboon ‘commit?’ Why does he turn right around and mate with another female the same way he mated with me? Alpha baboons are just no damned good!”)

Women, you see, are the complaining sex. This is because women frequently find others—often men, but sometimes other women—glad to help them. Men may get away with very specific complaints in easily corrected situations (e.g., “could you please turn that music down?”), but any man who complains broadly and frequently is soon perceived as weak or needy, perhaps even effeminate. And of all the things men do not complain about, what they do not complain about the most is their lack of success with women. That is how the “more sex hoax” of the 1970s was able to spread so widely and persist so long: no man dared to contradict it.

You can buy F. Roger Devlin’s Sexual Utopia in Power here.

But time moves on. The 1970s fade in people’s minds, and new generations are born that do not remember the period. Inevitably the realization is going to start dawning on people that there is not more sex than before the hippie era of the late 1960s. Less attractive young men in particular can no longer be taken in by that stale hype because they see women frantically competing to catch one of a handful of “hot” guys while ignoring other available men like themselves. They start talking to other young men who have observed the same thing.

If one of these unattractive men should consult with a “hot” guy, he may be surprised to hear concerns of another sort: women are too damned aggressive these days. Mr. Hot may even be forced to ask certain chicks for their phone number just to get rid of them! (Being a healthy young fellow, however, he may occasionally indulge in hookups with female admirers: see my “Hooking Up.”)

As described in a recent essay, while watching the terror phase of the sexual revolution unfold in the 1990s—with grim feminist campaigns against harassers, stalkers, and date rapists in full swing—I wondered to myself what the targeted young men thought about it all. As always in such cases, they were far quieter than the women, and complained either very little or not at all about what amounted to a broad-based hate campaign against them. I suppose they must have been busy doing what young men always do: looking for a girl, but now with the additional worry of having to avoid being accused of various newly invented crimes.

Then toward the turn of the millennium the internet came along and men could post their concerns anonymously in online chat forums. Lo and behold, they had been observing all the same things I had. They had been attempting to court those same young women who were being encouraged to view and report them as harassers, stalkers, and rapists. And it turns out this had not been a pleasant experience. Many had in fact been reported and punished for violating new and extremely vague rules, and were not happy campers. Gee whiz, who could have foreseen this!

These young men were experiencing everything anyone with common sense would expect young men in such an unprecedented situation to experience: they felt humiliated and lonely, and they could not understand why they were being treated as criminals simply for trying to find a girlfriend. Many were hurt. Many were angry. Some were angry at the women who despised them, but some saw the influence of the feminist harridans on those women and placed most of the blame there.

These men coined that silly new term I dislike so much to describe themselves, viz., incels, or involuntary celibates. This was not a good marketing strategy. While the young men’s concerns were legitimate, people sympathize only with plain Janes who cannot find husbands. No one sympathizes with plain Joes who cannot get wives. Such men are mocked, often cruelly. And that is exactly what happened in this case. “Incel” promptly became a fashionable insult. Anyone who wants to taunt a man nowadays simply calls him an incel. Many degrading details can be added, of course: a pathetic basement-dwelling incel living with mommy, spending all day masturbating to pornography, out of shape, unable to hold down a job…Need I go on?

Let us return to women. Whereas some young men may be hesitant to “commit” to marriage, as I said, nearly all women will tell you that they hope to get married. Let’s stop right there. The definition of incel, as we noted, was a man who does not have a woman but would like to find one. Doesn’t that mean that the young woman who would like to get married is herself an incel? Apart from being a woman rather than a man, she would appear to fit the definition perfectly: she would like to obtain a mate but hasn’t (at least not yet). No one ridicules her over this for one reason and one reason only. She is a woman.

Now let us ask about what is required in a young man for him to become a husband. If you ask a young woman, you may be treated to a long list of desirable qualities, including but hardly limited to: at least six feet tall, making $100,000 a year, athletic and with a charming personality, sensitive and respectful, a good sense of humor, etc., etc. These female wish lists can get quite extensive and complicated, and often exclude ninety-nine percent of the male population by the time one arrives at the third or fourth item.

But that is not what I mean when I ask what is required in a husband. I am thinking in far more modest terms. In fact, I will limit my own list of necessary qualities to just two which I think readers will agree are quite reasonable. First, the man must not already be married. You cannot marry an already-married man. You can, of course, become a side-chick, or “homebreaker” (as they used to be known). But this is not recommended, especially for a young woman who wants marriage rather than single motherhood. Second, the man must want to marry you. You cannot marry a man against his will. You cannot, and should not try, to marry a Catholic priest or monk who has taken a vow of lifelong celibacy. You cannot marry a contented bachelor who is simply uninterested in marriage. You cannot even marry a man who might like to marry some girl at some time if that girl does not happen to be you.

Now, the upshot of these two very modest husbandly requirements is that a woman can only marry a man—if he is an incel. If he already has a woman, he is no longer celibate. If he does not wish to take a woman, his celibacy is not involuntary.

I invite any female readers to reread and reflect upon the above two sentences for as long as they need in order to grasp the point. I’ll be happy to wait. Please note that they are not mere empirical generalizations, but logically necessary truths.

Yet “incel” is now widely employed as an insult, and not only by men; I have also heard women delightedly mocking men with the term. And these incels they despise so much constitute their entire pool of potential husbands. How does the reader think a man is going to react when he gets called a pathetic, basement-dwelling, porn-addicted incel to whom no woman would ever give the time of day? Should we expect a wedding ring to be promptly forthcoming?

My female readers may respond they do not care that the particular incel they are delightedly mocking is not going to offer them a ring. That may in part be because they are still waiting for that other fellow we alluded to above who is over six feet tall, makes $100,000 per annum, and has all those other wonderful qualities they would insist upon if only husbands could be custom designed instead of being real men who must be taken or left as is. The point remains that they will never marry any man who is not both unmarried and willing to get married, i.e., who is an incel. They must finally decide upon some incel if they are serious about getting married at all, so if I were a woman, I would not go around happily pouring scorn upon every incel I came across.

Here is another point to consider: when I was growing up, my parents taught me never to mock the unfortunate. There are plenty of plain Janes out there who have difficulty finding a husband, but I have never ridiculed such a girl. Mocking others may make you feel better about yourself: that, after all, is why so many people do it. But it is not very classy behavior. It does not make a woman sound like a lady. And some of us men refrain from mocking even the unfortunate of our own sex.

Yes, there are lonely men out there. Some are quite unattractive. Some still live with their parents, not only because of their own shortcomings but due to economic forces over which they have no control. Some may literally live in a basement room, although most probably do not. Some no doubt watch porn, are out of shape, have not yet found full-time work, and perhaps face many other problems and challenges you cannot even imagine. If you enjoy taunting such men, I am not your father and am not going to make you stop. I merely wish to point out that you will never find a husband unless from among the class of men now called incels, taking that term in its most precise and literal sense of men who do not yet have a woman but would like to.

And I must mention one other point before closing. We all know that divorce is now extremely common. Most divorces are decided upon by wives, not husbands, and what happens to husbands at the hands of divorce courts and child support collection agencies can be hair-raising even to read about. Young men are gradually finding this out; it isn’t easy to keep such matters a secret, after all. Word on the street is that a growing number of men are finally ready to commit…to remaining single for the rest of their lives. If I were a young woman operating in this market, I would be happy if I managed to catch the ugliest, puniest, most indebted, porn-addled, inbred misfit in town who still had a working set of male reproductive organs.

America’s been a Feminist Nation for half-a-century now.  ‘Incel’ is just the matriarchy further alienating and derogating masculinity and men.  Men who don’t do what the matriarchy wants them to do: chain themselves to a female and her subservient State via the civil contract of marriage.

Your Feminist Nation will fail and fall.  But everybody keep right on pretending that your silly princess daughters are ‘just as good’ . . . no, ‘BETTER’ . . . than some mere male.

Your own Empowered Wimmin will be the death of you, America.  Heaven will rejoice.

This isn’t the 1980s anymore. The term Incel is used as a dehumanizing term for the every increasing number of men, about 30 percent now, that are considered invisible by women and are disgusted if they get any attention from them.

Natural female behavior–ultimate hypergamy or celibacy, is converging with our post-society.

Non-White women were considered more normal, but apparently it was just a delay in the poz, as the center was Jewish USA institutions pushing this crap. Like Krugman in his excretable book, The Lexus and the Olive Tree, globalism subsumes and ‘flattens’ every good thing to the lowest common denominator. Just like the stock market in 1929, even idiots are “passport bros,” itself an instagram term derived from ghetto language and vapid stupidity. Foreign chicks positive attention is waning. There is no escape anymore.

Although I’m not an incel myself, I used to love visiting their discussion boards before they were deleted after the so-called Bella Vista massacre (a shooting committed by an Asian mixed-race man named Eliot Rogers). These “blackpill” discussion forums and chat rooms were the most intellectually interesting places on the internet between cc 2005-2015. There was an atmosphere of complete candor and the most subtle psychological insights into human behavior and character were found there. The personal stories described there were extremely interesting illustrations of life in Western countries after 1960, as many incels posted their entire detailed memoirs there. The incel forums also had one completely underrated feature: they were a place where there was complete racial realism and at the same time complete friendly harmony between members of different races. Indeed, if liberals and “anti-racists” were looking for a place where white “supremacists,” blacks, mestizos, Indians, and slant-eyed Asians of all kinds were both simultaneously 100% honest with each other and friendly – wishing each other well, the incel websites would be the only place where that was ever true. Indeed, at the core of incel ideology is the claim that physical attractiveness, or in their case, rather ugliness, trumps all other characteristics. Ugly men are in it together – at the bottom- where everyone  gets brutal kicks from girls, “normies”, “chads”, “Tyrones” etc.

You are picking up on a phenomenon important to the pipeline to the Alt-Right. PUA and MGTOW forums, though initially started for late Gen-X and early Millennial men trying to circumvent the odd milieu of 19th Century gentleman culture and THOT, 3rd-wave feminism, no restriction women, it quickly progressed into race realism, the JQ and free-market finance capital critique. Roosh V Forum and his thought factory, Return of Kings, was the best example of this trend until he suffered a mental breakdown after losing his sister to oncotic disease and he was de-personed by the NGO-federal–media Jewish establishment.

The term incel seems to be another form of male bashing. Richard Parker, who has written articles for C-C, has an interesting article about the term on his Substack page, The Raven’s Call: A Reactionary Perspective. Its title is Incel: The Most Mindless, Unoriginal Insult of All. It was posted on January 23, 2025. Mr Devlin, I’m about to purchase a book that you might be interested in reviewing. It called American Hookup: The New Culture of Sex on Campus. It’s written by Lisa Wade who is an associate professor of sociology at Tulane University. She comes to a similar conclusion that you have with your observations. That is the fact that most women on college campuses compete with the most attractive and socially dominant men on campus. Her criticism of this phenomenon is from a different perspective. She basically complains that this is unfair to non-whites, sexual minorities, and the unattractive. I doubt that I will be sympathetic to the ideas that she puts forth in the book. I will be reading it out of curiosity.

I am 37 years old, recently divorced, and have never before found women so completely unattractive. I still want a family, and am working to make it happen, but it’s a slog just to find a woman who isn’t obese and on pills. I lost 80lbs in the past two years, started lifting and walking with a weighted vest and I have a great physique now. The quality of women has not improved at all, so good thing I worked out for me and not for them!

Incels are a 99% completely harmless group of unfortunate young men who didn’t win the genetic lottery. It was disgraceful how the regime pounced on them and what a vicious campaign it waged against them. But where the author is mistaken: young women are hypergamous, they would never choose an ugly, weak loser even if he were the last man in the world. As incels have correctly observed, girls would rather share attractive alpha males with dozens of other women than give loser incels a chance.

I agree with you on both points…

Young White men who are considered “incels” have become the safe whipping-boy for even our elderly politicians.  One of the more insulting things I heard during the discussion of Trump’s Big Bullshit Bill was that it would force “basement dwellers”, supposedly living in their Mom’s basement and having zero ambition, to “man-up” and go out there and earn a living to pay for their own medical care — you know, the same way the political whore for Israel (who was speaking in his capacity as a sitting congressman voting for the bill) did:  sucking at the public teat of taxpayer money to pay for his OWN platinum lifetime health care coverage!  I also saw numerous video clips of heavily made-up, sexily dressed, over 30, Fox News Barbie-doll types gleefully excoriating “incels”.  Underachieving younger men are the most persecuted group this country has; as they are, of course, implicitly WHITE.  No one stops to reflect on the heavy-handed disempowerment they are subjected to.  Apparently, the current political “disparate outcomes” logic does not apply here?

It is true, as you point out, even the most unattractive woman will consider herself too “good” for a man of appearance on the same level as herself.  The change has been that women have now lost the concept of “settling” for a decent man, instead of insisting on Alpha Andy, because the culture feeds the superbly inflated self-worth of unattached women with an endless tease of options on social media.

As someone who was steeply indoctrinated with Second-wave feminism at a very impressionable age (nine-years-old), the F. Roger Devlin articles are very educational to me, and, I have to admit, very challenging.  I also have to admit, I am quite dismayed at the ignorance I had, as a young woman, about men.  No one taught me any better when it would have made a difference.

I think the people who self-identify as incels are essentially decadent. They have an obsession with sex, which then becomes their defining characteristic. A person of a higher quality could channel that sexual frustration (or distract from it) into a higher pursuit, such as art. And certainly a man of quality would not base their identity on a matter of sexuality since it is after all a lower form of human activity compared to things such as art and science.

Nietzsche wrote that a person should avoid the kinds of stimuli that they have to react and defend against, as it drains one’s energy. The incels do the complete opposite by focusing on it.

Of course, there is a real systemic problem behind this phenomenon that needs to be solved. I’m fairly certain all it takes is to (re)establish proper social incentives (social pressure) for people to get married and have children. If the prevailing norm, the cultural hegemony, that was present everywhere in society was marrying and having children, people would do it.

This is true in general, but you have to remember that “deprivation causes preoccupation”. Incels lust immensely for girls because intercourse with a pretty young woman would give them a sense of normalcy. Many of them will tell you that only then would they feel like human beings. Indeed, incels typically suffer from a multitude of neurotic problems, depression, melancholy and anxiety being essentially the “default” state for them. The problems of physically repulsive people go far beyond mere rejection by the opposite sex, but affect essentially all of their life chances and social relationships. Most incels on their discussion boards report severe bullying in childhood and adolescence. Some suffer from “toxic shame” due to their ugliness, to the point that they have never been able to approach a girl. But most have made, at least in their youth, a Herculean effort to get a woman. Many have approached several hundred girls (in real life, not on the internet) and been rudely rebuffed and ridiculed every time. Some incels are moronic liberals, but many others are unusually realistic about racial issues and claim to be the opposition (interestingly, this includes incels of color, who often hate their athletic, aggressive fellow tribesmen). Some incels could be very useful to our cause if they were taken care of properly. Our movement could offer them respect in exchange for loyalty. After all, they too are sons of our nations.

This is easy to believe. Today’s Cosmo girls imagine they have a ‘right’ to a highly attractive mate, which causes them to despise all other men and treat them accordingly. They end up frustrated spinsters mystified at the failure of the men they mistreated for years to love them. I have more sympathy for the ‘incels.’

I used to spend quite a bit of time on our online spaces and there was no shortage of incels posting there. I’m sorry to say, but you are dead wrong in regards to their potential usefulness, and in shining any sort of praise upon these wretches.

Most of them I found unlikable: low IQ, low culture and a lack of general knowledge. Worst thing, however, is that they actively attack women and try to push them away from the movement. It wasn’t out of place to see multiple incel accounts demanding for women to be banned from a forum, group chat, telegram channel, etc. Imagine the type of low character required to pop up into someone else’s space, and after throwing mud at a section of the user base, you start issuing directives about what the owners should do with their own space.

My guess is this sort of despicable entitlement comes from an assumption that somehow by going through a great amount of suffering one gains a right to have his way in certain regards. Not all that different from what goes inside the mind of your average wokester steeped in victim culture.

The Incels are a really diverse bunch. What they have in common is they just can’t find a woman. As with other sexuality issues, incelism evokes different reactions in different individuals based on their social background, temperament, intelligence, education, etc. One can use the analogy of homosexuals (although incels are very straight, they are actually extremely obsessed with women): you can find both gentle feminine homosexuals reciting poems to each other and low IQ antisocial criminals raping other men in prison. Similarly, among incels, there are plenty of thoughtful melancholics who express themselves very intelligently, as well as quite a few psychopaths who just spout obscenities and indulge in fantasies of mysogynistic sadism. I’d say that on moderated forums like “love-shy.com” used to be, the decent type completely dominates. I recommend that all white nationalists read psychologist Brian Gilmartin’s book “Shyness and Love”- it’s from the 80s and Gilmartin was ostracized by feminists out of established psychology for this book.

I guess we need to distinguish between individual incels and the incel ideology. In particular, the “blackpill” branch of incelism, which emphasizes the fundamental importance of physical appearance, goes completely against the central tenets of liberalism. The incels of the blackpill community are staunch biological determinists, which brings them very close to racial realism. They are completely at the opposite pole of woke trans ideology, for example. That’s why as soon as gender activists noticed them, they started to hate the incel community with terrible hysterical hatred and used all their influence to discredit and destroy them. But incels are also hated by all centrist “normie” liberals and conservatives because incelism denies the notion of equal opportunity and the efficacy of personal effort. If you are dealt your cards in the genetic lottery, then it is of course nonsensical to claim that the successful have earned their status through their “hard work” as various economic conservatives and free market social Darwinists claim. Further, if everything is determined by your physical capital, the thesis of various Labour and tame socialists about the superiority of the environment does not apply. Therefore incels are hated by pretty much the entire established ideological spectrum of the ruling regime.

It’s society itself that has an obsession with sex.  Incels didn’t make the standards here.  From his teen years onward, a major measure of a guy’s worth (at least according to popular culture) is what his love life is like.  Until he’s gotten some action, society says that he’s second rate.  If he hasn’t had a girlfriend by the time he’s 25, people start to wonder if there’s something the matter with him.  On the other hand, a woman who is a 25 year old virgin is plausibly being virtuous or saving herself for marriage.

I’ve always had a fascination with incel forums and websites, they’re some of the funniest places online. They’re at the best when they have to keep their misogyny and grievances lowkey because of stringent moderation. Pushing the limits of the rules makes for creative posts, when incels can just romp around free range they lose that edge. The same applies to White Nationalists too, we’re at our most funny when we’re persecuted by the mods.

What I think is the biggest psy-op that goes unnoticed is the mythology of incels being a white male thing, or tied to white supremacy. There’s a fair amount of racial grievance on incel spaces, that’s true, but it’s directed towards white men, not so much towards other races. r/braincels had an internal survey where it revealed that whites barely held a plurality on the forum, and it was Asian and Indian men who were overrepresented, especially compared to the population of reddit. There’s constant rhetoric on those spaces about racial sexual inequality, but it comes in the form of white men cannot be incels. JBW or “JUST BE WHITE” is a common phrase in incel spaces, where they’ll assert there’s a form of white sexual privilege that white men have over other races. It’s actually common for incels to laugh at white nationalists, calling them “race-copers”, as diversity supposedly works out in their advantage. There’s many memes they’ve made over the years joking about how diversity and multiculturalism are saving many white men from becoming incels.

I read a MA dissertation on incels published by some guy at Victoria University, he based his research on the same forum I was using at the time (r/braincels), his research done on the same timeframe I was using the forum (2018/2019). I read through his dissertation and he just oozed out how incels are a white supremacist thing, how white men can’t handle losing social status, etc. There were brief references to the ethnic grievance terminology, but he just glossed over the hundreds of grievance posts by ethnic men complaining about JBW, instead he just waffled on about failed white males and “the contemporary crisis of masculinity”. There has been a slew of research by undergraduate sociologists, who are eager to become the certified experts on the incel community, no doubt to angle for the comfy advisory jobs that deal with this “threat”. Some of the research is absolute bogus and just telling the establishment what they want to hear, that they’re failed white losers on the edge of committing violence, etc. But a few honest ones have come through, and have begrudgingly admitted how racially diverse incel spaces are, how many are left leaning, and  that their potential to commit violence is actually pretty minimal. We seen the same with Andrew Tate and the film Adolescence, all the surveyed evidence shows it’s people with a swarthy complexion in the UK that have a more positive perception of Tate. Indeed, the reason Tate tweets gloating about the Great Replacement and White Extinction on twitter is because he’s appealing to his brown teenage audience. This has not stopped the British government from making it all about young white men.

Most of the incel “celebrities” (if one can call them that) are non-white. True Forced Loneliness, a proto-incel community back around 2010, was around half African-American, and had links to some black nationalist online group that complained about the matriarchy in the black community. One incel vlogger who went by the same “Saint Hamudi” or “The Syrian Subhuman” was a Nafri-German incel who asserted it was wildly hypocritical and irresponsible for the German government to let in so many non-white male refugees,  as most German women want nothing to do with them. And he has a point there that the government never addressed, that the government can’t address really, due to ideology. The German government has to pretend a barely literate refugee is interchangeable with a highly educated local on the dating market.

(This information used to be found on the incelwiki, but it seems that site has been purged from the internet).

If there’s economic, social, cognitive and physical differences between the races, and much engendered resentment there, why wouldn’t we expect there to be a stratification based on sexual selection under conditions of “free love”? With certain ethnicities having more success than others.  Not all incel stuff is about race,  but they’re brutally honest about their racial grievances in a way that contradicts the egalitarian orthodoxy.

In August 0f 2019, a black incel threw a five-year-old white boy off of a three-story balcony in a mall in Minneapolis. His excuse was that he was angry that he couldn’t find a woman to date. Elliot Rodger was half Asian, if you read his manifesto, he felt entitled to date attractive, blond, white women.

what is your take on Elliot Rodger, the infamous half-Asian “incel” school shooter who regarded himself the “The Supreme Gentleman”? Elliot’s manifesto seems interesting to explore because of the intersection between race and sexual dynamics and the relatively early date (2014).

“Terror phase” is an accurate way to describe the sexual revolution of the 1990’s. As a woman in a college residence, I was CONSTANTLY warned through presentations, posters, pamphlets and campus newspapers about the dangers of date rape.  This was all year round, not just orientation week.  I was scared to make eye contact with men. Maybe I was just shy, but it also didn’t help that my Christian values at the time made me think that modern men just wanted sex outside of marriage and “why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free”?  So young men and women are not connecting for many reasons.

Of course, in an age of fornication, a bachelor is not the same as an incel. A bachelor isn’t married. An incel wants sex but can’t get it. A bachelor can get women and remain a bachelor, and some married men are incels. So women need not marry an incel…

‘Incel’ describes a type of bachelor of a specific subculture that resents women; he is not simply “a man who would like to find a woman, but has not yet done so.”   To equate ‘incel’ and ‘bachelor’ seems to deliberately disregard the whole ‘incel’ phenomena unique to the 2010s-present.

But no, that’s how the liberal media and the gendrists interpret the word. The original meaning of “incel” in that community simply meant men who would like to date a girl but can’t (for various reasons- which is why more detailed terminology like ugly-cel/ menta-cel exists- to distinguish whether the main reason for failure in women is physical ugliness or extreme neurotic shyness). It was only the woke media that simply drew an equivalence between “incel” and “racist mysogynist lunatic who wants to murder women”

Well, there needs to be a word to describe people like Elliot Rodger and community who share distinct grievances/ideology regarding gender relations.  Whatever the original meaning, it has been co-opted to describe a unique phenomenon that arose in the 2010s. A man may not be able to get laid, but that doesn’t make him an ‘incel.’ The meanings of words change…

This inspired me to invent a sci-fi/ fantasy/ adventure story or movie about the special role of incels in a future WN revolution: It would be a novel or an epic film that combined elements of The Turner Diaries, Raspail’s Camp of the Saints, Lord of the Rings, Mel Gibson’s Braveheart (1996), Glory (1989), The Patriot (2000), Gladiator (2000), the film 1917 (2019), The Last Samurai (2003), Enemy at the Gates (2001), Hacksaw Ridge (2016), and Saving Private Ryan (1998).

The plot would go something like this:

In the 2060s, a Great World Civil War rages. Among others, incels flock to the white nationalist military camp to fight for our cause. The hardened WN warriors laugh at these losers who are not only ugly but also physically weak and clumsy. But the film’s protagonist, the stoic general George White, stands up for the wretches and takes them under his protection. Through training, he turns a bunch of incels into a well-rounded military unit. We follow the fate of the individual Incels and their heroism, as their lack of physical strength is replaced by determination, dedication and devotion to their commander. A short, extremely ugly incel, nicknamed Poop, becomes General White’s military servant. In one instance, Poop saves the General’s life from a Globalist drone and is promoted to Corporal.

A crucial battle is coming: things are looking bleak for the WN army. It is surrounded by ferocious hordes of globalists, wokeists and fanatical jihadists. There is only one way to win the battle yet, which, however, would necessarily mean the de facto destruction of the army unit deployed on a particular spot of the battlefield. This military unit will face several hours of continuous attacks by the enemy and relentless artillery fire without sufficient cover. The General wants to send an elite regiment of white men to this location. But that’s when the incels step out of line. “Why should it be you?”, asks one of the General’s aides. “Because we are not afraid of death” “The rest of you have wives, families, you can beget more white children” Poop says. “We incels have nothing to lose, we just want to finally defeat this Tyranny.” “Then our suffering will not be in vain.”

The Incels take their positions in an orderly fashion. They show no fear. An epic battle ensues. The Incels face hordes of much stronger, angry enemies with sheer determination. We see their acts of heroism as the dying Incels fight the encroaching enemies to their last breath. Many are torn apart by artillery, but it has no effect on their fighting morale. When the enemy fighters see the utter disregard for death on the part of the incels, their courage eventually crumbles. When the rest of the WN army sees this, they rush to the incels’ aid with renewed enthusiasm. There is a complete white nationalist victory, but almost all the incels are killed. Poop, bleeding from many wounds, clutching the banner of his incel regiment, meets General White. “Did we win?” the dying incel asks the general. “Yes, you have won!” replies the moved General in tears. Poop dies, the entire WN army honors him with a bow.

The war raged on for many years, but the victory won by Poop and his ugly friends proved decisive.

At the end of the story we see a beautiful War memorial erected on the battlefield to the fallen Incels who overcame their weakness and became heroes in the service of a noble cause. On the monument we read an inscription of thanks from grateful white peoples, “Your sacrifice-our freedom!” The name “incel” has ceased to be an embarrassment and has become a badge of courage.

Superb. If Mr. Hitler or the Duce were running post-amerika right now, the White Revolutionary Army’s incel lightning division would become a formidable fighting force showing extreme bravery and near suicidal devotion to the greater cause even at the cost of their own lives. Such unpleasant traits and tendencies under the right conditions can be sublimated into newer forms the bearer never knew they had, similar to a juvenile delinquent grown up around drunken abuse becomes a respectable mma fighter.

Maybe Diogenes Clubs (or some version) would be an answer for a certain subset of those men determined to stay single.  Which means that “incels” are not necessarily bachelors desperate to have a girlfriend, etc., but, rather, men who are more than satisfied keeping to themselves. There’s been some struggle here to find a proper, widely-accepted definition for “incel”, but I don’t think that’s doable.

    @Tye (from comments above)

“The ethics of nature, bro. You want more white babies? Sometimes you have to make tough decisions and then explain yourself to moralizers online.”

“What’s your code of ethics, fewer white babies are acceptable if it means there are fewer divorces?”

    ——————————————–

“More white babies,” as a natural result of healthy white families, should be the norm and encouraged; husbands’ breaking vows and discarding their wives because Nature did what Nature does (i.e., foil individuals’ plans sometimes), on the other hand, should be condemned.

Nature could have kicked you in the teeth instead of her (e.g., by making you sterile), in which case I would not want to see you abandoned by your wife—just because some toxic, edgy memes had convinced her to feel individually responsible for upholding an ideal (i.e., “more white babies”) that is generally good, but not apparently meant for her—since she had committed herself to you, and with you that could not be done.

Treating Nature as something to whom we should yield and show obeisance is absurd, by the way. We spend our lives constantly defending ourselves against Nature’s caprices, and with good reason. “She,” depending on her “mood,” either inadvertently blesses us or cuts us down, in her boundless creativity, by accidents, diseases, disasters, or mere discomforts.

In this sense, we are better than Nature. Unlike Nature, we can care. We can love. And we can make vows and keep them.

There is a lot of variety in white women’s figures. Slender could appeal to some, voluptuous could appeal to some, even zaftig, which is different from voluptuous, could appeal to some. What has appeared recently is this awful Kardashian figure that is not voluptuous or zaftig, it’s Hottentot. This is solely for black men’s taste, and I’m disgusted when I see white women sculpting their bodies for black men and, worse, some white men liking it. I even saw a white-appealing website where they were complimenting young white women with these Hottentot bustles at a party in Florida where it appears there were only whites in attendance. Nice asses are really nice, but they could disappear on white women in our lifetime if this trend continues.

There’s this one big elephant in the room in all of this, namely that girls aren’t really interested in sex. For most attractive women, sex is a mere indulgence (while for men it’s a need). Most women’s instinct is to give sex to men in the smallest possible doses – female sexuality is rather narcissistic and exhibitionist in nature. It’s more of a “lure but don’t give” kind of thing. Sexual attraction is a way for women to control and direct men to their advantage. This instinct to rather reject men is so strong in most girls that it actually limits them from using their attraction to its full extent. As a result, some average-looking women can gain a big advantage over real beauties just by being more approachable.

Lol this is Bullshit. Women absolutely like having sex, maybe sometimes even more than men. What’s different is that women don’t usually get an ego boost afterwards (walking around all swag like etc like guys do) unless the guy they sleep with is way out of their league or they used it to take the guy away from their competitors. This is also why women don’t get caught as much as guys, They don’t usually brag. A lot of men actually take pride in their body-count (amount of different partners they slept with) which I find kinda silly. You’re basically telling people that you’re a hoe. It’s not a good look when you’re amongst upperclass circles in society even for men. I’m much more proud of having a lower body-count but extremely high quality partners.

I think what Woodpecker says applies to average (the bottom 80%) of men in terms of LOOKS. Those are the ones girls really just tolerate having sex with. What you’re describing applies to the 5-10% most physically attractive guys. Those are the only ones women are truly drawn to by natural instinct.

Most divorces are decided upon by wives, not husbands, and what happens to husbands at the hands of divorce courts and child support collection agencies can be hair-raising even to read about.”

Well there we have it. We had to wait until the final paragraph in the article to get it, but that’s really the crux of it right there: in today’s version of ‘marriage’, the male encumbers all the risk, works his ass off to please a wife, only to then lose not only half of all he’s earned, but also the very kids he worked to provide for! This has been going on for decades now. One has to wonder how many of today’s young men were raised in such ‘broken homes’ (as they were once, tellingly, known). Maybe they’re just not willing to subject themselves to the very same fate that they were raised with. At least some of those ‘incels’, I’d wager, are actually just volcels who’ve had enough of that non-sense.
