The November 4th US Special Elections

Greg Johnson

You can buy Greg Johnson’s Is America Doomed? here.

1,867 words

On November 4th, there were several special elections across the US that have inspired much doom posting in Republican circles. The most important wins are Zohran Mamdani for New York City mayor, Jay Jones for Virginia’s Attorney General, and Prop 50 in California, which will redraw Congressional districts to favor Democrats as retaliation for Texas doing the same to favor Republicans. But these elections were all in blue states, so the results were unsurprising.

In truth, these elections were bad news only for the Republican Party of Mitt Romney and the policy preferences of Montgomery Burns or the CATO Institute. They are not bad news for the nationalists and populists who are the future of the American Right.

However, instead of confronting the shortcomings of their own candidates and campaigns, many Republicans tried to blame the outcomes on . . . Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes.

On Jay Jones’ victory, Joel Barry posted, “If only we had united with Fuentes this wouldn’t have happened.”

Dana Loesch posted, “Thank goodness so many podcast hosts spent so much time hosting and defending Nazi twinks rather than host Winsome Earle Sears, Jack Ciattarelli, or Jason Miyares (or even talk redistricting)! They were so helpful to the movement tonight!”

In response to Tyler Bower saying that there “is a well-funded psy-op to suppress votes for Republicans on Election Day” and “I have seen too many controlled plants align with Bush/Cheney era Republicans against Trump,” Laura Loomer retorted that it was actually Tucker Carlson who suppressed votes by saying Christian Zionists are the worse people ever. In another post, she even alleged that Tucker is intentionally working to fracture the GOP ahead of 2028.

Ironically, Joel Berry has a point. If the GOP had listened to Nick Fuentes and the broader movement that had warned them for years that “demographics is destiny,” Zohran Mamdani would not have won. Mamdani admits as much himself, bragging in his victory speech that he won thanks to “Yemeni bodega owners and Mexican abuelas! Senegalese taxi drivers and Uzbek nurses! Trinidadian line cooks and Ethiopian aunties!” Yes, so denaturalize and deport them all.

Eyal Yacoby sarcastically remarked that “Jews control American politics to the point that Zohran Mamdani won.” But as Matt Gaetz’s close associate and political operative Vish Burra points out, the Rabbi Moshe Indig and several Ahronim (Orthodox Jewish scholars) endorsed Mamdani. Alex Soros and his Open Society Foundation have provided lavish financial support and glowing endorsements to Mamdani. On October 28, Congressman Jerry Nadler said he is “Proud to endorse Zohran Mamdani for Mayor. He’ll keep ALL New Yorkers safe—including Jews who, like me, are Zionists.” Two other prominent Zionist Jews, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander and State Assemblyman Micah Lasher, also endorsed Mamdani. And of the 11% of NYC residents who are ethnic Jews, 33% voted for Mamdani.

Zohran Mamdani justifiably provokes an instinctive, immediate, and intense loathing from people on the Right. He’s smug, oily, obviously phony, and dangerously ambitious. To slither his way into power, he promises impossible things to starry-eyed imbeciles and real benefits to steely-eyed ethnic mafia bosses. In fact, he’s a lot like Barack Obama.

But this disgust response should not blind us to the fact that Mamdani really deserved to win, for two reasons.

First, Mamdani rejected the premise embraced by the other candidates that the only thing that really matters in New York City politics is buttering the bagels of Jewish ethnonarcissists. His finest hour was a debate in which the candidates were asked what foreign country they would visit first if elected mayor of New York City. The correct answer is: Israel. Mamdani, however, said that he would not travel abroad but address the needs of New Yorkers. It is obviously the correct answer, but the other candidates were either too lazy or scared to say it, because they knew what was expected of them by you know who.

Second, Mandani addressed the pocketbook issues of countless New Yorkers frustrated by high prices and haunted by downward mobility. If Mamdani’s socialist policies provoke an exodus from New York, rents will naturally fall. It would be ironic if the free market kept Mamdani’s socialist promises.

So no, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes did not put Zohran Mamdani into office. Nor did Republican Curtis Sliwa, who split the anti-Mamdani vote with Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani would not have won without the Great Replacement. But Cuomo would have had a lock on the Replacement vote without Mamdani. Mamdani beat Cuomo because, being from a younger generation and knowing how to read the room, he realized that widespread downward mobility and two years of Israeli genocide meant that simply pandering to Jews was not the road to power.

This leads into an interesting issue: the power of spite in politics. Let’s assume that Nick Fuentes and/or Curtis Sliwa did in fact help Mamdani win. If true, that means that moderates and perhaps even Zionists need to line up to support us, not vice versa. We have a lot less to lose than they do under gay race communism. At some point, the establishment may need to pander to the racist vote as much as they pander to the pro-life, gun, and chamber of commerce lobbies.

The idea that the Far Right is sinking the GOP with Hitler memes is ridiculous. We have to admit the hard truth that brutal deportations are unpopular with the youth, including the white youth. But Israeli war crimes are a hundred times more unpopular, as is the state of the economy (which remigration will help fix with time).

Some on our side make Third Reich edits on TikTok or praise Hitler and Stalin. I think this is bad ideologically and optically, but it’s a free country. In contrast, Zionists have spent over two years conducting a genocidal campaign of terror in Gaza, much of which has been extensively documented in 4k videos. It doesn’t take an expert to know which one is scaring the hoes at the polls. It is Jews, not Nazis, who are giving nationalism a bad name these days.

In fact, white men were the only group in NYC who didn’t vote for Mamdani. The GOP should be buttering our biscuits at least as lavishly as they butter the bagels of people who don’t vote for them anyway. Not canceling our guys over leaked group chats, allowing us to make edgy jokes, and not tone policing us (and only us) would be a good start.

The November 4 elections were not a victory for whites. But they did relatively little damage, and the lessons they teach may help us win elections that matter.

Very little has changed.

Mamdani is not much of a jihadist if he’s schmoozing with Jews. And he is only slightly more of a gay race communist than the black he’s replacing, Eric Adams. He’s just more optically brazen about it.

Prop 50 redrawing California’s congressional districts will likely give the Democrats five seats, off-setting Texas’s redistricting, which will likely give the Republicans five seats. Politically, it’s a wash. The lesson here is that Republicans cannot stall the consequences of white demographic decline with their typical little procedural games. Only remigration will save America.

Jay Jones becoming Virginia’s Attorney General is probably the worst outcome, but its also the most useful for propaganda purposes. Virginia’s white population declined from about 70% in 2000 to 60% in 2020 and is estimated to now be 58.8%. The groypers didn’t elect Jay Jones, but the Great Replacement and Zionist war crimes, both of which they oppose, did.

In contrast to a lot of online hysterics, J.D. Vance provided some much needed perspective and clarity about Republicans losing in blue states. His first point, that TPUSA volunteers have been working hard at turning out “lower propensity” voters is interesting. As David Zsutty argues in his critique of George Hawley’s The Moderate Majority, volunteers/staffers are a fourth distinct category in addition to generic voters, candidates, and the party apparatus. It just so happens that Rod Dreher told the New York Times that he has it on good authority that 40% of Republican DC staffers under 30 are groypers. Based on my experience, that’s probably true.

That means that we control an essential segment of the GOP machine. The party has to respect us, because they rely on us. I don’t know if that is what Vance was signalling between the lines, but its worth noting.

Vance’s second point was that the GOP will be judged in the 2026 midterms by whether they can make a decent life affordable. That means continuing mass deportations and encouraging voluntary remigration, as these will naturally raise wages and lower rents. Fanatically fawning over Israel doesn’t fit into that.

Vance’s third point was the most important and worth quoting in full:

The infighting is stupid. I care about my fellow citizens—particularly young Americans—being able to afford a decent life, I care about immigration and our sovereignty, and I care about establishing peace overseas so our resources can be focused at home. If you care about those things too, let’s work together.

This “infighting” is between the Israel First and America First wings of the America First movement. Vance condemned the infighting but blamed neither side for causing it. That includes the groypers, White Nationalists, etc. He wants to unite on immigration and raising the standard of living, especially for young people who have for too long been neglected—despite being essential to politics as voters, volunteers, and staffers. And “peace overseas” doesn’t sound like glassing Gaza or handing Israel a blank check. I can hear echoes of Steve Bannon’s rejection of supporting Israel as a litmus test for being MAGA.

The Zionists have claimed that the groypers et al. need to stop hijacking and sabotaging the party for their pet interests. This is rich coming from people who want to take over the America First movement and make it Israel First instead.

Jews might have more money, but that doesn’t mean they’re all that essential to the GOP. Jews are 2% of the US population. What percent of the vote is racist, anti-Zionist, or at least a single-issue voter on immigration? By 2026 and certainly by 2028, that percentage will be at least 2%. So we have more votes than Jews do. And not only are whites more likely to be staffers and volunteers who are essential to any campaign, but according to Dreher White Nationalists and the like are 40% of them. Jews might write checks, but I doubt they get their hands dirty with grunt political work as much as we do.

The GOP needs not just generic whites, but outright White Nationalists, more than it needs Jews. The consequences of gay race communism will be catastrophic, but much more so for Jews and the mainstream GOP than for us. We’ve got nothing left to lose. This means we have enormous leverage.

Maybe I’m reading too much between the lines, but I think J.D. Vance knew that before November 4th, and the election further reinforced how right he was. That would explain why he stood by the Young Republicans doxed by Gavin Wax and Politico. That’s extremely wise on his part, and I hope others begin to see things the same way. It’s our party now.

Great article! I am just wondering if anybody on the republican side will carry on Trump’s work. 🙃

Donating to the Republican Party is at best a bet, and on the evidence it is a bad bet. The same goes for supposedly conservative political parties in other White countries.

Take whatever money you were thinking of donating to Republicans and give it to Counter-Currents instead.

A J.D. Vance win in 2028 and 2032 would be a great outcome.

Because he would likely continue mass deportations rather than reopening the floodgates of third-world immigration like the Democrats would.

Judging from the criticisms he made at the European Security Conference earlier this year and other statements he made addressed in this article, he seems like the best candidate thus far. I also give him points for making visits to western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene and connecting with the folks who live there.

I don’t think any of us want to see the likes of Gavin Newsom winning in 2028, or conservative milquetoast Mike Pence (who just recently hinted that he may run for the Republican ticket).

This is a refreshingly optimistic analysis of the special election results.  I agree that GOP infighting played no part in the outcome.  It was a classic democrat economic & tds response.  I agree with VDARE writers that GOP never helps its chances when they nominate black candidates such as Sears, & put them up against White democrat candidates.

The GOP will eventually have to own up to being the party of white Americans. It’s a weakness to always have to deny it and defend against charges of racism and white supremacy.

You and everyone reading this must know by now that Whitey will not vote his way out of the racial mess America has become. Get real. You are naive to believe that any Political Pary will reverse things for Whites under the current electoral system of mass democracy.

Eleven years ago I opened this topic on whitebiocentrism.com:

“GOP can’t be seen as the White man’s party” Eight pages of comments there, many prior to the Trump era, make the case. Consider this quote there by Republican Pat Buchanan from 10 years ago:

Americans of European descent, who provide the GOP with 90 percent of its presidential vote, are down to 63 percent of the nation and falling. By 2042, they will be a minority. And there goes the GOP.

We don’t need to wait 17 more years to finally admit that the GOP has not been the “party of White Americans” for decades. What percentage of the US will still be considered White in 2042 at the rate it has been falling? 45%? 35%?

The fact is that there is strength in Whites declaring,”we are “racists,” not weakness.

        WE DON’T WANNA SEE ‘EM

        WE DON’T WANNA HEAR ‘EM

WE DON’T WANT TO SMELL ‘EM!

Get the Hell out of our communities, our living space. We want nothing to do with you or with your deracinated white collaborators.

            No, they may need us.

Racial separation in order to preserve our race is nothing new, Doug. It has a history, backed by science, laws of Nature and common sense. Put ‘separation’ in the search block at NV and a number of articles by some of our top race-thinkers, including this series by Mr. McCulloch will come up: “Richard McCulloch’s The Racial Compact – Part Four – Separation for Preservation” at nationalvanguard.org

            Separation: The Preservationist Imperative
            by Richard McCulloch

“A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation.” – Abraham Lincoln, June 26, 1857

IN 1988 I had the opportunity to meet William Gayley Simpson, author of Which Way Western Man. At that time he was in his nineties and in declining health. He compensated for his lack of conversational endurance by distilling the essence of his thought into one very terse and pointed message: “Separate or die.” Those were his last words to me, and that is fitting, for that simple phrase tells us two vitally important things. First, that racial separation is necessary for the long-term preservation of the Northern European race, the founding and still the majority American racial type, which I refer to as the Nordish race. It is a simple matter of either-or — either racial separation or racial death. Second, that the alternative to racial destruction, the solution to the Nordish racial crisis, is racial separation. Not immigration restrictions, segregation, white supremacism or other half-measures, nor anything that need harm other races or violate their legitimate rights and interests. [Note 1] None of these things can save us. Only separation can. Separation is the preservationist imperative.

The reason separation is necessary for racial preservation is simple — the evolution and continued existence of different races is made possible by reproductive isolation. When different populations are reproductively isolated they cannot interbreed or intermix, and consequently evolve in different directions, developing into different races with their own unique and distinct ensemble of genetic traits. Reproductive isolation requires an absence of physical contact. As a practical matter, this requires geographic separation.

There is already a law of biology (Gause’s law of exclusion) which states that multiple animal species with the same requirements cannot coexist in the long term in the same habitat. One will eventually replace the others, which will become extinct. This law can also be applied to human races occupying the same territory: one race will eventually assimilate or replace its competitors. Since it is a fact that every human population living today has interbred with every other human population with which it has had extensive contact, there should also be a law of sociology which states that different races sharing the same habitat (i.e., lacking the race-creating and preserving condition of reproductive isolation) will eventually intermix and blend into one race, destroying their racially unique traits. The more extensive the contact and interaction between the races the more rapid the process of interbreeding will tend to be, but whatever the rate, slow or fast, it will occur, with the most racially destructive consequences for the race with the more recessive genetic traits.

For the Nordish race, with its many recessive genetic traits, the consequences of extensive intermixture are racial destruction, and as intermixture is unavoidable in a multiracial environment, the inevitable consequence of multiracial conditions is the destruction or extinction of the Nordish race. Since the Nordish race requires racial separation for its continued existence or preservation, to oppose racial separation is to effectively oppose the preservation or continued existence of the Nordish race, to effectively propose and support Nordish racial destruction or extinction, and this is the position of the presently dominant or “mainstream” elements.

Since intermixture is an unavoidable consequence of multiracial conditions, those conditions themselves are the proximate cause of intermixture, and the blame for racial intermixture and its destructive consequences belongs to all those who promote, support or defend multiracial conditions and oppose the separation-isolation which is the only effective means to prevent intermixture and secure racial preservation. This is true even for persons who ostensibly oppose racial intermixture, for if they support multiracial conditions of existence — or oppose separation, which amounts to the same thing — they are in fact supporting the cause of intermixture. They might say they favor the reimposition of a segregationist, white supremacist or “traditional” society, where intermixture is prohibited by law and custom, but a multiracial society is not a “traditional” society. The “traditional” society of the Nordish race, the type of society in which it was created and preserved for many thousands of years, is a monoracial society. Such a society provides reproductive isolation, the condition required for both racial creation and preservation, and does not need to prohibit intermixture by law or custom because by its very monoracial nature it prevents intermixture far more effectively than any law or custom ever could. Thus the only effective cure for intermixture, the only way to prevent it from destroying the Nordish race, is to restore it to its traditional, separate monoracial existence….

Read more of Mr. McCulloch’s racial wisdom at the NV link, also search C-C for him.  I found mention of him in a comment under thi e C-C article by C-C’s house Negro, Lip Matthews, back in May, “Race Taboos Are Being Broken.”

            A timeless McCulloch quote:

Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder, but in the eye of the beheld.

McCulloch holds Nordics as the ideal of White racial preservation, but understands that all in our Tribe are not long-headed, blue-eyed blondes.

To both Doug and Chairman Williams, thank you for your posts.

The development of my racist feelings started slowly for me when my father was stationed for four years near Los Angeles where I went to High School. It was a couple of years after The Civil Rights Act of 1964, followed closely by the Watts Riots of 1965. School was never the same after the integration that followed. I was college bound and didn’t see too many blacks in the classes I was taking. My real awakening came as I did part-time jobs in restaurants and warehouses working my way through school…

I’m 72 now and strongly moved by your closing statements, Will:

“The fact is that there is strength in Whites declaring, we are “racists,” not weakness.

Much of the promises made by the new NYC mayor may never materialize. I’m talking mainly about all these free services that he is promising. Most of the people who voted for him won’t hold him accountable for it. He has said all of the right rhetoric. An Adams or Cuomo victory wouldn’t have been that different in some ways. They were just a milder version of what the new NYC mayor advocates. The Jews that voted for him may have made a devil’s bargain that could be detrimental to them in the future. Maybe they haven’t forgotten the anti-Israel demonstrations this past year, the voting patterns of many of them seem to conflict with their interests, though. As most of us know, this new NYC mayor will be resistant to Trump’s deportation policies and how that plays out will be interesting.

It’s funny that he promised free buses, when buses are already free for blacks. They board without paying and the drivers gave up enforcing payment a long time ago. The bus system is an honor system and probably most nonblacks still pay. The subway is different, it’s harder to get a free ride, but Mamdani said nothing about free subways, to my knowledge.

The Virginia electorate concentrates in the cities
and suburbs, and many of them are transplants and
immigrants, second and third generation. They hold
an abiding hatred and resentment for the old white
Virginia; the deplorable bitter clingers; the
Cooters. The see us as an impediment to their
ideals of equality and diversity; but for us, they
would be striding gallantly into their beautiful
progressive future. Food freedom, home schooling,
personal defense, freedom of association: These
are of the white pioneer spirit, which they fight
    to crush.
Jay Jones is yet another sassy, scolding,
arrogant black politician bent on giving Whitey his
long overdue comeuppance, good and hard. Picture
Arsenio Hall wagging his long finger, “In yo’
face, Whitey! We black up in ‘iss bitch!”

Immigrants by and large come to America not
because they cherish the rights to free speech and
to bear arms. The educated are strivers here to
earn; the poor, here for the gibs. Free speech and
guns are tools of white supremacy, along with turn
    signals and alarm clocks.

And there’s still the oppressed versus the
    oppressor.

At some point you have to say, i still have some of my ancestors spirit in me, I still have some racial pride left. I guess they could pay me $10k to eat worms. Maybe id do that, I don’t know, or blaspheme. Just a pinch of incense , who would know? It’s the secrecy of the precious ballot.

I would know. And a female foreign born African is too much for this good ol boy . And I’ll keep complaining too because my ancestors built this country for me, not for Africans. And this takeover is wrong. It’s wrong every which way. And I can complain all I want ; I’m a son of the revolution and my ancestors have been here for 400 years, I’ll complain and complain and complain!

America is not doomed, America is dead! The struggle to find a place for the White race in this world is all that’s left! 🙃

Why does Greg have the Doomed book after The Year America Died? Isn’t dead just post-doom?

The projected tipping point where Whites  become a minority in this country was 2042. I say that because of the actions of Biden this estimate must be revised, and moved up. 🙃

And “white” includes a bunch of non-whites like Arabs and North Africans. The real figure for whites is lower than the census says.

The term white is not a good determination of who is white. Perhaps arian is better. Many of these people have had a European type civilization for millennia. The Roman empire. Also as I read these comments it’s time to explicitly include latins and Eastern Europeans as white people. This kind of nonsense about nordish is very retrograde. That is why Latin people are not entirely comfortable with white identity. They were excluded in the past for incorrect reasons. Maybe it’s okay to have Japan towns, Little Italy’s, and other places that are predominantly ethnic.

    I blame Donald Trump.

In February, his approval rating among 18-29 year old voters was 55%.  Now it is 25%.  Has any other president ever had such a catastrophic drop in support in any demographic in such a short period of time?

Israel and the Jews are at the heart of this.  Trump covered up Epstein for Israel – and he said if you don’t support the cover up, he doesn’t want your support!  Trump censored TikTok for Israel.  Trump cracked down on free speech on campus for Israel.  Trump misused ICE to kidnap critics of Israel rather than focusing solely on deporting illegal immigrants.  Trump enabled the starvation blockade and terror bombing of Gaza.  The “President of Peace” bombed Yemen and Iran at the behest of Israel.  RFK Jr. has done nothing to “make America healthy again” – instead, he declared antisemitism a public health crisis.  Trump’s tariffs have not been part of a rational and persistent plan to bring back manufacturing.  Instead, they have been used as bargaining chips to achieve geopolitical goals, which center around Israel.  He hurt the American economy by using tariffs as a form of indirect economic sanction against Iran and Russia.

If nothing else, the election in NYC shows that 20th century politics are dead. Voters are fed up with the same old politicians (Cuomo, Romney, Bush and Clinton families) who repeat the same old talking points, sell out their voters the day after the election, and then enrich themselves while in office. Mamdani is a clear and unambiguous socialist challenge to the American way.

Donald Trump glommed on to this tectonic shift back in 2016 by pushing populism and who is single handedly demolishing the old GOP.

Looks like we are seeing the opening of 21st century politics where there really is a difference between the two parties. National-populists vs third world socialists and their retainers.

    It ain’t over yet…
