There are plenty of minority constituencies that are relatively small in number but can still point to one or more elected officials who champion their interests and act as a public face for their cause. Libertarians, for instance, have Rand Paul in the Senate and Thomas Massie in the House of Representatives. For socialists, this role is played by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Blacks and Hispanics have their own caucuses in Congress. Michigan’s Muslims have Rashida Tlaib, and the Somalis in Minnesota have Ilhan Omar.
But noticeably absent from the halls of political power are not only White Nationalists, but even champions of White Identity Politics. There is, to my knowledge, not a single man or woman in Congress who speaks explicitly of “white interests” and doing “what’s best for whites.” Jared Taylor is absolutely correct that while Donald Trump and the mainstream Republican Party do sometimes pursue policies that benefit whites, they do not speak for us, and that explicitly pro-white politicians are desperately needed at all levels of government, from local school boards to the United States Congress.
While I unfortunately cannot report that any prominent politician has decided to embrace White Nationalism, I am happy to share news of what may be the next-best thing. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, surely one of the most well-known Trump Allies in Congress, has once again promoted the idea of Republican- controlled states politically separating from Democrat-controlled ones. In a post on X following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, she advocated a “peaceful national divorce” on the grounds that “Our country is too far gone and too divided, and it’s no longer safe for any of us.” She also offered this stark warning to Republican voters:
Democrats are hardened in their beliefs and will flip the switch back as soon as they have power. And, if you are expecting Republicans to fight against evil, with the power they currently possess, and end this once and for all, you are going to be extremely disappointed.
This comment shows a great deal of foresight and demonstrates a willingness to speak truths that may be unwelcome to her own supporters but need to be spoken anyway. The Left suffered a setback with the results of the 2024 election, but it has hardly been defeated in any meaningful way. Midterm elections tend to go very poorly for the party in power, so it seems safe to expect that the Republicans will lose one or both houses of Congress in 2026. As for 2028, it is far too soon to make any predictions, but it should be noted that Trump will not be on the ballot, and it’s unclear whether his presumptive successor JD Vance will have the same popular appeal. Furthermore, even if Vance or another Republican candidate receives enough votes to win, can the Democrats be trusted not to attempt to “steal” the election? I think not.
All this is to say that it is not a matter of “if” the Left regains power at the federal level, but “when.” And when that day comes, they will not hesitate to re-open the borders, continue their attacks on whites, fill the courts with judges who will do their bidding, and try their very best to censor our speech. In all likelihood, the next Leftist regime will be worse than what we experienced during the Biden-Harris years. Marjorie Taylor Greene anticipates this future and is sounding the alarm bells now. She should be given credit not only for recognizing the danger ahead, but also for proposing a concrete solution.
I have previously praised the idea of state secession in several different articles for Counter-Currents, and am very impressed with Spencer J. Quinn’s argument that the independence of right-wing, white-majority states is a necessary intermediate step on the long road to re-establishing one or more white homelands in North America. If this is indeed the case, then all of those who bravely come forward to call for separation from the anti-white leftist menace should be counted as temporary allies, even if they are not racialists. Congresswoman Greene would fall into this category.
However, it must be conceded that state secession is not going to take place in the immediate future. Scott Greer, a white identitarian writer and podcaster who is extremely critical of state secession, made several astute points about the practical difficulties inherent in Congresswoman Greene’s proposal in an article last week.
First, Greer noticed that secession is less popular on the Right then it was two years ago
The Republican congresswoman made waves in 2023 when she first made the demand. At that time, the idea had wide currency on the Right. Red state governors were fighting with the Biden administration over proper authority. The culture was still mired in peak woke and the country reeled from the memory of zealous COVID mandates. Republicans had suffered a disappointing midterms and the federal government was prosecuting Donald Trump. It seemed that the time for a national divorce had come.
But following the Republican victory in 2024, the mood is quite different. Writes Greer:
The Trump administration is keen on exerting federal power over that of the states and cities. The president is cracking down on sanctuary cities, regardless if local authorities want ICE agents there. He’s happy to federalize the National Guard and send them into blue cities to quell riots and crime, regardless if local Democrats resist. Trump has demanded all schools that receive federal funding purge DEI from its teachings, regardless if state and county officials want to teach DEI. The president even wants to impose federal authority on how states conduct elections, regardless of legal precedent.
This has caused Trump supporters to be much more enthusiastic about the use of federal power:
The MAGA Right recognizes that America isn’t breaking up and that “localism” allows threats like sanctuary cities to infest the country. To meet national threats, national solutions are required. When a leftist kills Charlie Kirk, a national crackdown on left-wing extremism is needed. When illegal migrants pour over the border, a national border security policy is needed. When schools around the country teach anti-white racism, a national ban on DEI is needed. When blue cities refuse to crack down on crime, a national crime response is needed.
Trump and his movement recognize that it’s un-American to give up on our great cities and great states to the Left. It’s better to fight for them and to try to make them great again. That’s the kind of spirit that built our country, and it’s the kind of spirit voters respect.
This is not surprising. When the federal government is in the hands of one’s enemies, it makes sense to call for decentralization and state and local control, but when it is in the hands of one’s allies, it is a tool to be wielded against those same enemies. Of course pro-secession sentiment is far lower among Trump supporters now than it was two years ago. How could it be otherwise? As of today, Greer is right that “National divorce” will indeed look like weakness to many voters. If I were advising a Republican candidate running in a competitive primary election, I would tell him or her to use Greer’s rhetoric rather than Greene’s. But those of us who are thinking in terms of white interests and white independence must be more far-sighted than the typical voter.
As Greg Johnson persuasively argued in “The End of American Democracy”, it is clear that the Right and Left are “two nations competing for power within the same borders “and that in a zero-sum struggle for control, the Left has the edge:
There’s no question that the greatest threat comes from the Left. Not only is the mainstream Right too weak to crush and proscribe the Democrats, they are also too weak to resist the Democrats doing the same to them. Their strongest instinct is to hang on to the status quo, no matter how untenable it may be, and pray that somehow things will get better, preferably without them needing to do anything courageous.

Republicans, both politicians and voters alike, currently lack the will to attempt secession, but they also lack the will to take the steps needed to truly defeat the Left while they have the opportunity. Thus, when (not if) the Left takes back Congress and the White House, it will be too late for the Right to use federal power to its advantage. At that point, a strategy centered around states’ rights, decentralization, and secession will start to look much more attractive. So, while it is all well and good to celebrate when the Trump administration uses federal power against the Left, we must always keep in mind that these are but temporary measures. The long-term solution must be separation, and it’s better to face that reality sooner rather than later.
I wish Congresswoman Greene great success and wish that the American Right had one hundred more just like her. It should also be noted that she is critical of aid to Israel and has stood firm in calling for the release of the Epstein files. Her political instincts seem to be excellent, and I confidently predict that she will prove to be one of the most important figures on the Right in the coming years. We are going to need her.
As an advocate for peaceful state secession, I have never felt more represented.

Nice article. Right now, our big fight is preserving coherent territories as the redoubts and bastions for the decades long fight for a federation of sovereign homelands. Ohio should be a fortress but it is under attack by Republicans who consistently invite in foreigners be they Haitian in huge numbers, sub-continentals, SouthAmerIndians … …
Worse, the Christian boomers there are slavishly embracing Vivek Fraudaswamy and he will be governor. This in addition to many towns in Ohio already governed by anti-white sub-continentals. Columbus comes to mind. A traitor in Indiana just got caught trying to move tens of thousands of Haitians into that state. Kentucky is 88% white, but its cities are African hellscapes and the countryside is browning noticably.
In any case, local politics in these redoubts is the game that must be played. Let’s be frank, we must do all we can to protect homogenous areas for Our people the best we can. Someday, in the future, let’s hope we do that well enough that the scope of clear and hold activities that will be necessary to recover from the Great Mayorkafication of North America can be kept as small as possible.

I simply love Marjorie Taylor-Greene! No, she isn’t perfect; but she is bold and unapologetic, and she comes closer than anyone else to representing my interests as a White American. Suddenly “they” were in our public spaces, where before there were none of them — at all. Just this past week, a “youth” with a backpack was wandering through the parking lot, in broad daylight, eye-balling the cars. Wherever they go — there “they” are; ruining the quality of life.

That’s a very interesting point, Jay. I figure there may be two reasons for this. One is that the personality type of a politician is very different from that of a content creator. Politicians want to be liked, and they want to win much more than they want to promote truth. Why would somebody who wants to win without much concern for truth choose the overwhelmingly unpopular WN platform? WN content creators, otoh, tend to be self-directed rather than popularity chasers, and they also tend to be laser-focused on revealing unspoken truths.
The other reason is that to be a WN politician today, or at least in the recent past, is somewhat akin to working the dunk tank at the carnival. You are asking to be doxxed, threatened, ridiculed, harassed, fired, canceled and all the other things that public WNs face from the not-too-bright or devious majorities.

Everything comes down to power, and power in the US comes with numbers, influence, and money. Our political leaders will emerge when we attain enough of those factors to be truly feared or respected (although the left sees a WN behind every bush and has palpitations, but that’s not rational), and we’re not there yet. Until then, being a WN political leader is a reputational suicide mission. Right now, we’re in a stage where we need to grow, and the best way to do that is through intellectual writers who make strong arguments and entertaining podcasters who attract followers and spread the word. It appears to be happening, albeit slower than we would all like.

My dad was a Gentile attorney at a very heavily Jewish law firm. Many, many, people over his long career suggested to him that he become a judge. He never did, because (he said) he would have had to take a big cut in pay. (He seemed to think money, over judicial authority, had more power.)

I had to respond to myself instead of to you since the nesting of replies is limited. That is a rough question, and I’m not sure it has a definitive answer for all situations. Plus, the three factors can be highly related and are hard to separate. Jewish power in the US clearly comes from both money and influence, but not numbers, since they are a small group. It may be that their rapid entry into the media (particularly entertainment), academia, radical politics, and law were more important than money, but I can’t say for sure. On the other hand, the Islamic takeover of Iran was accomplished without much money, but with numbers and influence through their religion.
I have a feeling that influence may be our main ticket to power, although we still need the other two. Our ideas are so strong because they are rooted in reality instead of in pipe dreams of various utopias. Some of them are slowly seeping into the conservative world, although not as fast as we would like. And the left’s resistance to Israel is giving us some space to spread our ideas about J power to a wider audience than before. I think numbers will follow next. But money is good, too. I hope that answer suffices–the question is a doozy.

Please carefully read that, Derek. Critique and compare it to your plan. When there are more of us than there are of those who oppose this plan, the struggle is half won.
The Titanic has been holed in several places and the waters are pouring in. Trying to be captain is not the best idea. Teaching people to have good attitudes so that every lifeboat will have all the people it can hold but no more is the best idea.
Nationalism is a nice-sounding bad idea. Even White nationalism is an inner ring but not a bull’s-eye. Pro-White internationalist identity politics is the best idea.
We need to be pro-White. We need to stop worrying about states that are doomed whatever we do and that are like ships that are destined to rest on the sea floor; and we need to focus on saving our people, White people, who need to be taught the right ideas and the right words to use to pass on the right ideas, meaning pro-White ideas.

This is a great article. Scott Greer’s brand of political realism basically is premised on refusing to challenge extremely unrealistic attitudes among Republicans that doom them in the long run.

Steve King was a Republican representative from Iowa who expressed similar views to what is posted on CC, and many whites agreed with his opinions. Not only did he receive criticism from Democrats, but from Republicans as well. The Republican party basically turned against him, and it cost him. That was many years ago and a lot has changed in this country sense then. Marjorie Taylor Green advocates similar positions that he had, she seems to be getting away with it, though. When the left comes back into power, many moderates could possibly change their position on secession.

Secession = self-marginalization. Historically speaking it is not a recipe for success. Examples of it failing are plenty, examples of success are few. A march through the institutions and taking control of a country’s political, intelligence and judicial machinations is at present a far more likely to succeed. Do what the left did and reverse it, get them out, put our own people in, and don’t shy away from appointing “extremist” individuals. Look at what Orban has achieved in Hungary and Erdogan in Turkey. It will take a competent leader who harnesses the populist energies of the (right) people to launch himself into office and deconstruct/proscribe the left and reverse course, and yes, it will take more than two terms to achieve it. Barring a single autocrat who runs for four to three terms, you’ll have to have two or three successive nationalist/populist presidencies to complete this process and cement a new course for the country, to the point where the left ever coming back in federal control would not have the standing or the ability to do much of anything considering the systemic backlash and resistance they would face in implementing their policy. I never said this would be easy, but secessionism is walking off a cliff. Let the left be the ones to try and secede.
I could get behind your suggestion if I believed that the Right wing was capable of wielding power in such a manner. Sadly, I don’t believe it is. Sooner or later- and probably sooner- the Left will be back in charge at the Federal level, and I fully expect that the next Leftist regime will make Obama and Biden look like big cuddly teddy bears in comparison.
If crushing the Left with state power is off the table, that forces us to consider other options. While none of these options are perfect, I think that a peaceful process of state secession is the most appealing possibility.
I don’t see how attempting to separate ourselves from those who aim to oppress us, replace us, trample upon our rights, enable violence against us, and ultimately bring about the erasure of our race on this Continent is akin to “walking off a cliff.”

Although MTG is speaking very generally in the above quotation, there’s solid recently released data to back this up, which I believe (not certain) I just saw at White Papers on Substack. In a nutshell, on the video made by two experienced Democrat strategists discussing results of recent survey data, two things stood out: Those currently identifying themselves as Democrat, are the far left from 4-years ago, but they are even more doubled-down in their staunch loyalty to far lefty causes. On the flipside, those currently identifying as GOP, are those who previously did 4 years ago & includes a large swath of folks who describe themselves as not so political/ not following political news very closely at all. In sum, the GOP has simply become the default, “I’m not gluing myself to pavement to protest environmental racism” party.
The level of federal force Trump is currently using to assist in alien round-ups, will definitely be used against White Americans who dare to speak out or resist Judeo-AI tyranny, and global-Judeo-authoritarianism. Jewish, anti-American lawfare works continuously until it overturns those laws it doesn’t like, — laws that were voted on and approved by American citizens within their own states.
Look at the state of California, with regard to a landlords’ ability to rent rooms to only those whom he wished. In CA, huge amounts of signatures were gathered to put into law the ability for folks to say “no” to being forced to rent rooms/apts to illegal/irresponsible unwanted bums. After gathering enough signatures, this was put up for vote Twice, and *both* times , every, single, county (from very liberal San Francisco, to very ”’Hollywood”’ Los Angeles) voted for their constitutionally-protected right to say “no” to renting to bums. President Bush-appointed lawyers were the ones who worked relentlessly through the CA courts system until they finally succeeded in permanently overturning that right of California property owners.
There is no voting our way out. There is no political solution.
Among several others who realize TeamRed VS TeamBlue is no solution, I believe White people should re-locate to the Whitest states, to build up community, and be prepared to eventually defend our physical turf & resources, when either 1) everyone from the collapsed cities, ex-urbs, and semi-rural areas come to kill & loot, or 2)when federal tyrants finally decide the time is right to unleash armed forces, drones, etc. upon us.

The future scenario, which you have outlined, is terrifying. And yet I think it’s true. I wish it weren’t. However, the assassination of Charlie Kirk has alerted many people to the danger. I hope our governments all crack down on Antifa and other domestic terrorists.

Please keep in mind that much destruction of California went down under (very well liked) GOP Reagan. The federal tyrannical creep exists throughout the system. I don’t like Trump’s foreign policy, only some of his domestic policies. He’s totally subservient to Israel. And also the fact that they did not release the Epstein files, and they ignored Epstein’s connections to Israel, Mossad and Robert Maxwell.
Most federal politicians are on the AIPAC payroll – 400 out of 435 House members, for example. This means they put Israel’s interests first, miles ahead of the US national interest.
Kim, I completely agree that we must relocate to specific areas. Imagine if one million racially conscious all migrated to five small, overwhelmingly White states (for example, let’s say 200,000 each to West Virginia, Arkansas, Montana, Nebraska, and Wyoming). If all one million were politically active, there could very soon be several pro-White governors and congressman, plus hundreds of state legislators, mayors, county officials, and school board members.
Somalis and Arabs have more representation than we do because they are concentrated in a few areas in large numbers and not just scattered everywhere.
I think it may be overly-optimistic to think that a pro-White state-level [s]elected politician would ever be permitted, however: (a silver lining) I believe we could have lots of great self-sufficient small towns with community elected, pro-White mayors.
Ms. Greene is entertaining, but to look at her as some sort of Great White Hope is folly. We’re not going to vote our way out of the mess in which we find our race through the failed mass democratic electoral process, nor will so-called red states secede from so-called blue ones. Forget that.

Mr. Williams, I’m in total agreement that White self-segregation is the way to go. The sooner Whites realize this, the better it is for all Whites. Wiki & others work so hard to hide that the U.S. is already minority White, because this simple fact can rally and activate White folks. I’ve looked at this politically, six ways from Sunday, for years now. There’s no political way out. Wiki & others work so hard to hide that the U.S. is already minority White, because this simple fact can rally and activate White folks. It’s good to see you agree with some of what I’ve said, though segregation of the races, like apartheid in southern Africa, worked for a while prior to failing. It is strict geographical separation of our race from Jews and other non-Whites that is required going forward. We cannot go back to failed segregation.

MTG promoted ‘secession’ because – at this point in the revolutionary development of White racial consciousness – secession a dead end for Whites. On the other hand, there are many options short of open secession that are both feasible and lead to more fragmented and localized political and economic authority and this is good for Whites seeking to organize racially (both culturally and territorially). The key concepts in this approach is ‘nullification’ and ‘stealth’.
Nullification already works in immigration and drug enforcement. But its worth noticing how the Trump administration is reasserting ‘federal authority’ over immigration. This is because the jews understand that nullification works and that allowing the development any kind of nullification benefits Whites in the long run.
As an ‘eternal minority’ in ‘the West’ The jews need centralized authority to manage their host populations. This is why the jews have decided to oppose the Whites of ‘the left’ on immigration: Immigration nullification in the form of ‘sanctuary’ locales had already inspired ‘2A sanctuaries’ in the Heartland and who knows what else might be next.
The Trump administration is the most jewed-up administration in modern history. All of the ‘wins’ being cheered by ‘MAGA’ are anti-White in some form or another. Even the concept of ‘freedom of association’ is anti-White at bed-rock because it’s open to everyone, not just Whites. MAGA is just another form of race communism, just with a country-rock soundtrack.

As for ‘stealth’, it’s important to realize that our enemies have consistently gained ground in their war on Whites whenever ‘pro-white’ entities have engaged in open defiance of their authority. I cannot think of a single case in 70+ years where open defiance of jewish supremacy resulted in any enduring success for Whites. Not one.
Worse yet, all the ‘activism’ and ‘taking it to the streets’ or ‘speaking truth to power’ and ‘street action’ has served the interests of our enemies by (a) allowing them to identify Concerned Whites, (b) providing justification of the average non-aligned White person for more repression of Concerned Whites and (c) most ‘activism’ is so far out and ‘drama club’ that even those Whites moving in our direction, find themselves repulsed by the various antics involved in ‘white activism’. Ground Zero for this nonsense was George Lincoln Rockwell.
Secession is a dead end. Nullification is the way forward. Stealth is the method.
How? Well, start by looking at the Tenth Amendment Center’s annual reports. See the various forms of reassertion of ‘states rights’ and nullification projects. Get involved in local government as a citizen, not a ‘white activist’. Learn the ropes. It would be nice if some of our ‘pro-white’ organizations actually invested in White citizen involvement at the local level instead endless intellectualism.
Hamburger, after reading your a,b, & c, critique of activism, I went to bitchute & re-watched Cybergnostic’s 4 minute Rockwell synopsis. (I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know – I just want to break this down for anyone else who hasn’t done as much reading & studying of nationalism.)
Let it be known, I really do like The Fable of the Ducks and Hens by GLR. Rockwell garnered much attention as the man, the Nazi, everyone loves-to-hate, riding around in his hallmark “hate bus.” And he had charm and wit. All that said, unfortunately, these actions helped to make normie U.S. WW2 vets (& Rockwell had been one) much more confident that National Socialists were super-bad, & that the U.S. WW2 soldiers had fought to stop something terrible. Rockwell referenced the ‘6M’ and ‘6M more’ in some of his recorded talks. So, he did not, overall challenge the U.S. Govt pro-war narrative.
Many people like activism because they think it’s good for morale. That is true, but we always have to ask: is it helping people to get to the truth?
